Chapter 64

Wang Tian felt somewhat agitated and his thoughts became a bit chaotic, but he still tried to maintain control.
Suddenly, a series of uncontrollable thoughts entered his mind: Why am I so stupid! Senior Sister can understand it, why can't I? Master died, it's because I shouldn't have taken this damned mission, which led to Master's death! A strong sense of self-reproach tormented him, making his heart feel as if it were being cut by a knife!
I once swore to protect my loved ones from harm, but now, if I can't understand this punch intent, how can I protect Senior Sister? The leader of the Qingyun Association will seek revenge when he finds out his subordinates are dead. Master entrusted Senior Sister to me, and if I can't fulfill his last wish, am I even human...
Master! Your disciple is useless... Now I can only hope that your spirit can ascend to paradise!
At this moment, he was extremely sad! His thoughts began to become chaotic, and he was a bit delirious, as if he saw Master's tall figure standing in the air in front of him, smiling at him.
He fell into a negative state!
Ascend to paradise!
Suddenly, the scene in Wang Tian's mind changed.
A vast and desolate plateau, the blue sky was clear and clean. The clouds in the sky drifted to the horizon. There were no trees, no plants, only barren brown land and exposed cliffs.
On the mountain, there was a large platform, and on the platform, white bones were scattered in all directions, the bones of human corpses. Several monks in Tibetan robes carried a fresh corpse to the platform. Around the platform, four stone pillars were filled with fierce vultures, their eyes wide open, greedily staring at the corpse below. Due to long-term feeding on humans, their eyes emitted an evil light, as if they came from hell...
The monks placed the corpse and walked to a nearby spot, sitting down and chanting indistinct syllables. The syllables carried a mysterious melody, inexplicably making one feel sad, with a desire to cry. One monk took out a hand drum with great devotion, continuously rotating it. The drum had two ribbons on either side, each with a ball at the end. As the drum was rotated, the balls struck the drum surface one by one.
Sky burial!
This is a sky burial ground in Tibet!
The Nirvana ritual of Tibetan Buddhism!
The vultures, seeing the humans leave, flew down in a rush, starting to peck at the corpse. Some even fought over pieces of meat, flapping their wings and struggling. They pecked open the corpse's belly, eating the internal organs, which were their favorite food. One vulture even pecked out the corpse's eyes first.
Letting the vultures peck at the corpse, returning to nature, this is the way to ascend to paradise, where the soul will ascend to heaven.
From nature, to nature.
And the vultures are the messengers! They are 'fierce' animals, representing evil, yet they appear in the human world, representing nature. So they are animals that exist between 'hell and nature.'
From the purity of birth to the sin-laden death, the corpse, tainted with dust, and the evil committed in life must be purified by the vultures, the bond between hell and nature.
In Tibetan Buddhism, there is a story about feeding the eagle with flesh: ... Once, the Buddha was out and encountered a hungry eagle chasing a pitiful pigeon.
The pigeon said to the eagle, "Spare me! You are hunting for food, and there will be others; I am fleeing for my life, and I only have one life!" The eagle replied, "Do you think I don't understand your point? But I am starving, and I can't live without eating you. Life is hard for everyone, and I wouldn't chase you so desperately if it weren't for my hunger."
The Buddha, moved by compassion, held the pigeon in his hands and hid it in his chest. The eagle, enraged, argued with the Buddha, "Buddha, you are compassionate and saved the pigeon, but are you willing to let me, the eagle, starve to death?"
The Buddha said, "I don't want you to harm this innocent pigeon, nor do I want you to starve to death. As the saying goes, if I don't go to hell, who will?"
So the Buddha took out a balance, placing the pigeon on one side and cutting flesh from his own body to place on the other side. No matter how much flesh the Buddha cut, it seemed unable to balance the pigeon's weight.
Finally, the Buddha sat on the balance, and it finally balanced! Celestial music began to fill the air, and the true Buddha was born.
Feeding the eagle with flesh, ascending to paradise!
The path to ascending to paradise, the move Vulture·Fierce Hunger, carries 1% of the path to paradise.
Wang Tian drew his knife and thrust it forward. This move seemed so slow at this moment, like a slow-motion scene in a movie. But the ultimate slowness is the ultimate speed!
Drawing the knife, moving his body forward, and thrusting the dagger in the process. After understanding the final move of the Eagle-shaped punch intent, the intermediate steps of moving and drawing the knife seemed to be omitted. This was the ultimate speed, and Wang Tian's body seemed to have moved instantaneously! It was as if Wang Tian's posture of thrusting the dagger had always been there from the beginning.
This thrust carried an endless sense of ascending to paradise, continuous and unbroken.
All the surroundings were completely filtered out. The world was reduced to a pale, bone-like scene, with a large, evil-looking vulture in the center, like a Chinese ink painting. The dagger thrust split the scene in two!
