Chapter 6

Looking at the abnormally strong third-stage ant king, Li Feng was overjoyed and nodded repeatedly: "Mm, third-stage ant king, I'll call you Xiaohei from now on."

"Xiaohei, come here." Originally, Li Feng was just playing with the giant ant, but to his surprise, the ant king really crawled over and circled around his feet, seemingly very excited.

"Hiss, can you really understand my commands?"

"Xiaohei, show your ability to command a hundred ants." Li Feng's heart stirred, and he continued to give orders.

As soon as he finished speaking, the exceptionally strong and mighty Xiaohei began to wave its antennae.

Before long, the quiet dormitory house suddenly filled with a rustling sound. Li Feng focused his gaze and was startled.

A small black flood actually crawled in through the gap under the door. Counting carefully, there were exactly a hundred ants, no more, no less.

Wow, this is so amazing!

Freaky, the hundred ants summoned by Xiaohei were not ordinary ants but deep black soldier ants. Although they were not as large as ordinary ant kings, they were much stronger than common worker ants.

Li Feng remembered from a book he had read that the social structure of ants consists of the most common young ants, worker ants, soldier ants, ant kings, and ant queens.

Young ants are naturally just born and have little ability to move or survive.

Worker ants are the busy ants we commonly see. In ant society, they form the lowest level, mostly responsible for searching for and transporting food, a hardworking and toiling mass.

Soldier ants, as the name suggests, are the warriors of the ant group. In conflicts with other insects, they are the main combat force.

Of course, if they encounter difficult-to-handle "food," soldier ants will also join the hunting action. In the ant group, the combat power of soldier ants is a symbol of strength, and their bodies are naturally two times larger than ordinary ants.

Finally, the ant king is the strongest and largest ant, but if you think they are the most powerful fighters, you are greatly mistaken. In ant society, the role of the ant king is that of a stud. Their main responsibility is to continuously mate with the ant queen to produce more baby ants.

A bit off-topic.

When Li Feng saw that Xiaohei could summon over a hundred strong soldier ants with just a call, his playful interest was greatly aroused.

"Huh, wait a moment..."

Since Xiaohei can command a hundred soldier ants and is loyal to me, does this mean I can also control this ant army?

Damn, this is too exciting!

Impressive, thinking about this, Li Feng suddenly had an idea. He had been troubled by the need to collect blood essence for the past two days.

And now, with Xiaohei advancing to a third-stage ant king and having the ability to command a hundred soldier ants, heh heh, he wondered if this method would work.

Thinking is doing. Li Feng calmed down slightly and immediately ordered Xiaohei to command the hundred soldier ants to capture the nearest insects and bring them back.

This order was amazing.

Sure enough, just as he had imagined, a hundred black soldier ants set out through the door.

Time passed, and before he knew it, more than half an hour had gone by. Just as Li Feng was getting impatient, the hundred soldier ants finally returned, and their appearance invigorated him.

This is a ladybug, this is a caterpillar, wow, so fat!

Ah, this must be a worm. Wow, soldier ants are indeed extraordinary, they even brought back a heavy-duty worm.

Li Feng was stunned.

"Hmm, sorry, for the sake of my great future, I can only make you suffer." Li Feng felt very satisfied.

After dealing with the insects captured by the soldier ants, he obtained seven units of blood essence.

Especially the worm, this "big guy" alone gave him five units of blood essence. It seems that the worm's reputation for its strong vitality is not exaggerated; its blood essence is vast, far out of proportion to its weight.

Seven units of blood essence, although not as fast as Li Feng doing it himself, was not much slower either.

After all, Li Feng's speed in killing insects was fast, but he had to search in the grass.

"Pity, really a pity, the third-stage ant king Xiaohei currently has a command of only a hundred, if it had a command of a thousand, then a thousand soldier ants serving me would be amazing."

A first-stage ant king requires 1 unit of blood essence to feed; a second-stage ant king requires 5 units, and a third-stage requires 25 units... to evolve into a third-stage ant king, a total of 31 units is needed.

Li Feng carefully calculated and easily determined the feeding cost of a third-stage ant king.

No problem, with the 77 units of blood essence he currently had, he could easily feed two more third-stage ant kings.

Thinking is doing, Li Feng immediately picked up two soldier ants from the hundred summoned by Xiaohei.

Feeding... feeding... feeding...

Practice makes perfect. In just a few minutes, two more third-stage ant kings appeared beside him.

Heh heh, just as he had imagined, these two soldier ants that had advanced to third-stage ant kings also had the ability to command a hundred ants.

"Hmm, from now on, Xiaohei is the leader, you are called Erhei, and you, Sanhei, got it?"

At this moment, fortunately, there was no one in the dormitory, or people would have thought Li Feng was crazy for talking to the three ant kings.

But is that the case?

Of course not. The true fact is that the three ant kings, with full intimacy, had become loyal to Li Feng and could understand his commands through some mysterious and unknown power, including the names he gave them.

"Xiaohei, stand in the center, Erhei on the left, Sanhei on the right, act immediately."

In less than ten seconds, the positioning of the three ant kings was perfect, which made Li Feng marvel.

"Alright, now start, summon your armies, and go capture insects. My only requirement is to be discreet and not let humans notice your subordinates. Act now."

The three third-stage ant kings simultaneously issued commands, and in a moment, three hundred strong soldier ants formed a black flood, rolling in.

This made Li Feng feel incredibly satisfied. These are all my subordinates, all the result of feeding with blood essence.

Moreover, if I have more blood essence, I won't just be able to control an ant army, right?

Li Feng was very excited. He suddenly realized that commanding the ant army to collect blood essence for him was just like calling the farmers in a base-building game to gather resources.

To improve the economy and obtain more blood essence, I need more farmers to gather resources. Ah ah ah... I need to produce more soldiers, more farmers.

For a moment, Li Feng almost wished he could get more blood essence to feed more third-stage ant kings with command abilities.

Heh heh, treating reality like a base-building game, this is almost heaven, isn't it?

When the three hundred soldier ants' army swiftly and majestically captured insects, Li Feng's eyes were already red.

What is a fourth-stage ant king like, and does it have even more command power?

Unfortunately, for Li Feng, a fourth-stage ant king is still far away. The 125 units of blood essence required are enough to keep the three hundred soldier ants' army busy for half a day.

After a few hours of busy work, Li Feng did not expect that his mosquito farming had not yet reached its goal, but he had created an ant army.

As Li Feng had predicted, the blood essence value of a cricket is about 2 units. After consuming 10 units of blood essence, the cricket he bought for 1500 yuan had grown into a strong and robust top-tier cricket.

Although it was still a bit smaller than the current Golden Head General, it was 27 mm, only 3 mm smaller than the General.

During the process of feeding the cricket, the three hundred soldier ants had completed one round of capturing, bringing him about 13 units of blood essence in about half an hour. At this rate,

I'm sure that if I go to the old man's place and come back tonight, I will have enough 125 units of blood essence to feed a fourth-stage ant king.

For a stronger and more commanding fourth-stage ant king, Li Feng was full of anticipation.

...
