When Su Yuxin saw Su Zhe approaching, her mood improved. She pursed her lips and smiled at Su Zhe, her skin as fair as freshly peeled water chestnuts. Her unintentional smile left the boys beside her spellbound.

As Su Zhe walked up to Su Yuxin, she naturally reached out and took his arm.

This intimate gesture almost shattered the heart of the boy standing nearby, making him feel as if the sunny sky had suddenly turned dark.

"Brother, I thought you weren't coming," Su Yuxin said.

Su Yuxin's words reignited the boy's hope, and he hurriedly introduced himself to Su Zhe: "Big brother, I'm Zhang Rui, a friend of Yuxin's."

Hearing Zhang Rui's words, Su Yuxin frowned but said nothing.

This made Su Yuxin laugh, saying she had unknowingly become a rich kid.

"Are you Yuxin? You're so beautiful," An Xin said with a smile when she saw Su Yuxin. Su Zhe had told them the day before that his sister Su Yuxin would be coming home, so An Xin wasn't surprised by her arrival.

"Sister Xin is the one who's beautiful, I'm a bit jealous of Sister Xin," Su Yuxin said, taking An Xin's hand in a very intimate manner, showing no sign of being unfamiliar. On the way, Su Zhe had told Su Yuxin about everyone at home, so she wasn't hard to recognize An Xin.

Su Yuxin and An Xin, An Xuan briefly introduced themselves to each other.

Su Yuxin took the bowl and chopsticks An Xin handed her and, seeing the table full of dishes she liked, couldn't resist picking up a piece of shredded meat and putting it in her mouth. She then praised, "Sister Xin's cooking is really delicious, I almost swallowed my tongue."

"Yuxin, don't tease me. As long as you like it, that's fine," An Xin said happily, pleased that Su Yuxin enjoyed the food she had worked hard to prepare.

"Baby, eat some vegetables. Kids shouldn't be picky eaters," Su Zhe said, putting some shredded carrots in Baby's bowl.

Su Yuxin saw this and said, "Brother, I want to eat too."

Hearing this, Su Zhe put some shredded carrots in Su Yuxin's bowl as well.

"Brother, can you feed Baby?" Baby put down her small chopsticks and asked Su Zhe.

Although Su Zhe felt Baby was a bit strange, as she had never asked to be fed before, he didn't want to disappoint her.

After that, the two of them glared at each other, neither willing to give in.

The air was thick with an unusual tension, and for no apparent reason, Su Yuxin and Baby were at odds, leaving Su Zhe very frustrated.

An Xuan, sensing the tension, didn't dare to breathe loudly, just lowered her head and quietly ate, trying to avoid getting involved.

"Come, Baby, I'll feed you," An Xin stepped in to defuse the situation, taking the bowl and chopsticks from Su Zhe and preparing to feed Baby.

With An Xin's involvement, the atmosphere improved a bit, but Baby and Su Yuxin still occasionally glared at each other.
