"Stop talking nonsense," Han Jin frowned, "Maggie and I were just practicing singing. It's a very proper thing, how could it be as dirty as you think?"

Wu Qi, hearing Han Jin say this, pouted, "Alright, we're all good brothers. You wouldn't even hide it from us, right? I don't believe that nothing happened after you were alone together for a few days."

"Really, nothing happened. Don't overthink it," Han Jin, who was already worried, quickly waved his hands, "Besides, she's a rich girl, and I'm just a poor guy. How could anything happen?"

"Ah, no wonder they say the one involved is confused, while the onlooker sees clearly. Everyone in the class knows Maggie likes you, but you're still clueless," Wu Qi sighed, "If I looked as handsome as you, Maggie would fall in love with me at first sight, and I'd be a rich son-in-law. Then I wouldn't have to work so hard anymore."

"Alright, rich son-in-law, hurry up and change your clothes, stop daydreaming," Liu Qingyun threw the clothes to Wu Qi, "You're drooling more than drinking tea! If you don't want to eat, I do."

Han Jin also changed his clothes and finished washing up. Then, he went downstairs with Liu Qingyun and Wu Qi to have breakfast at a nearby shop. After that, they walked together to the broadcasting station.

"Ah Jin, you haven't been to work for a few days. The boss misses you a lot," Wu Qi said with a teasing smile.

Hearing this, an image of a sexy and alluring woman flashed in Han Jin's mind. She was Mei Jie, the boss of the bar where Han Jin worked as a waiter.

Mei Jie was in her thirties, beautiful and sexy, with a bold personality. She was known as the "Yau Ma Tei Wild Rose." Although she was single, few dared to pursue her. According to rumors, she was the mistress of a powerful gangster. Any man who dared to have feelings for her would be beaten up and thrown into an alley the next day.

Han Jin started working at the bar at the beginning of the year. Due to his hard work and dedication, he was highly favored by Mei Jie. When he took a week off, it was easy for him to get approval, which made other employees gossip that Mei Jie had a private agenda and wanted to take advantage of him.

Han Jin nodded, "Tell Mei Jie that I'll return to J&H after my exam."

"The boss will be thrilled to hear that," Wu Qi laughed, hinting at something.

"Alright, stop being so gossipy," Liu Qingyun waved his hand, "Let's hurry up, or we'll be late."

Just as he finished speaking, a car slowly pulled up beside them. The door opened, and a "laughing auntie" called out, "Ah Jin, get in the car."

Han Jin turned around and saw Wu Junru, a classmate from the training program.

Wu Junru's father was Xia Chunqiu, a famous TV actor in Hong Kong who had been active since the 1950s and had hosted the lottery show for many years.

Because of her father, Wu Junru lived a wealthy life, just like Zeng Hua, and always traveled in luxury cars, unlike Han Jin, Liu Qingyun, and others who had to walk.

"Wow, Sandra, are you being so unfair? We're all here walking, and you only invite Ah Jin to get in the car?" Wu Qi immediately complained.

Wu Junru laughed, "I can't help it. Kiki and Jia Ling are already in the car. You two big guys can't expect to make them get out and let you in, right?"

At that moment, Liu Jialing and Shang Tian'e poked their heads out, "Sorry, we're already ahead."

"Ah Jin, get in the car," Wu Junru smiled, "Walking is tiring."

Han Jin smiled and waved, "No, you go ahead. We'll walk behind. Walking is good for health, and it's not far anyway."

Seeing Han Jin not getting in the car, Wu Junru looked disappointed, and Liu Jialing and Shang Tian'e pouted.

"Alright, we'll go ahead. See you at the training program," Wu Junru nodded, closed the door, and the car drove off.

"Wow, you're really loyal. Even with such a beautiful offer, you still remember your friends. Good job," Liu Qingyun patted Han Jin's shoulder and laughed.

Wu Qi, however, pouted, "Ah Jin, why didn't you seize such a good opportunity? Wu Junru may not be the most beautiful, but she's rich, and her father is famous. If you dated her, you'd be famous too."

"Alright, my great Casanova, one moment you tell me to chase Zeng Hua, the next you tell me to chase Wu Junru... Do you think I'm the Monkey King who can split into multiple forms?" Han Jin laughed, "Let's hurry up, or we'll really be late."

...

The three of them laughed and ran toward the broadcasting station. Ten minutes later, they arrived at the training program.

Most of the classmates were already there, about twenty to thirty people sitting together, chattering like a bird market.

Especially Wu Junru, Shang Tian'e, and Zeng Hua, who were the most lively. Liu Jialing smiled and listened to them, occasionally joining in.

When Han Jin, Wu Qi, and Liu Qingyun entered, everyone was startled, thinking the teacher had arrived.

Wu Qi, seeing everyone startled, felt a bit smug and laughed.

Han Jin and Liu Qingyun returned to their seats. Han Jin's seatmate was Liu Jialing, also known as "Suzhou Sister." Her family had moved from Suzhou on the mainland, so she was often discriminated against in class.

Especially by rich kids like Xiao Xueli, who often called her "Beigu" (a derogatory term for people from the north), making Liu Jialing's eyes red with anger. Han Jin never had any prejudice against her and often comforted her, so they had a very good relationship.

"Ah Jin, you're here," Liu Jialing's eyes turned into crescent moons when she saw Han Jin, and she whispered.

Han Jin nodded. At that moment, Wu Junru walked over with three bottles of drink, "Ah Jin, Brother Yun, Brother Hua, have some tea. It will help you when you sing on stage."

"Thanks," Han Jin took the drink, unscrewed the cap, and smelled it. He knew it was made from ingredients like fat sea dates, lantern flowers, licorice, golden lotus, and winter melon, which were good for clearing heat, reducing inflammation, and protecting the throat.

He took a sip, and it was sweet with a slight bitterness from the herbs, "Mm, it's really good. Thanks, Sandra."

Wu Junru laughed, "You're welcome. If you like it, I'll bring you more later." She blushed and walked away.

"Ah Jin, how have your practice sessions been? Are you confident?" Liu Jialing asked softly, looking worried.

Han Jin smiled, "Yes, don't worry. I won't mess up this time."

Liu Jialing nodded and sighed in relief, "That makes me feel better."

...

In a corner of the classroom, Xiao Xueli saw how popular Han Jin was and felt a bit jealous.

"Ah John, have you thought of a way to deal with him?" Xiao Xueli gritted his teeth.

"Don't worry, Brother Li. I've already prepared," Du Yan smiled and took a small bottle from his pocket, "This is pepper water. If he drinks it, his throat will itch, and he'll start coughing. No matter how well he prepares, it won't matter."
