Chapter 21

Jin Taehui is an interesting person, and Yang Mo is also quite outgoing, so the two chatted for three or four hours without any sign of stopping. By then, they had moved from teasing each other to sharing amusing stories from their childhoods. If it weren't for the passenger in front of them complaining about needing to rest, the two would have chatted all night long to America.

After the passenger's complaint, the two exchanged a mischievous look and then closed their mouths. Each of them pulled a blanket over themselves, reclined their seats, and closed their eyes.

Because of their newfound connection, both of them felt very happy. Jin Taehui even had a smile on her lips.

After closing her eyes for a while, a wave of drowsiness washed over her. It was already late at night, and soon Jin Taehui fell asleep. Unconsciously, her head leaned over and rested on Yang Mo's shoulder.

Seeing that she was sleeping soundly, Yang Mo didn't move her head. He thought to himself that since he was an athlete with a good physique, he could let her have this "advantage."

So, Jin Taehui leaned on Yang Mo all the way to America. When the captain's voice came over the intercom announcing their imminent arrival, Jin Taehui slowly woke up. Upon realizing her head was on Yang Mo's shoulder, she jumped up in surprise. As she sat up, a long line of saliva stretched from her mouth and plopped onto Yang Mo's shoulder. She looked closely and saw that half of his shoulder was wet.

Seeing this, Jin Taehui felt a bit embarrassed and very apologetic.

Yang Mo, woken by her commotion, slowly opened his eyes. As soon as he did, Jin Taehui hurriedly apologized, "I'm really sorry, let me clean it up for you."

Seeing her embarrassed and flustered face, Yang Mo couldn't help but chuckle. He instinctively reached out and gently pinched her little nose, saying, "Don't you think your fans would be incredibly envious if they knew? This is a gift from a goddess."

"Stop it," Jin Taehui playfully hit Yang Mo, not minding his flirtatious gesture. She then rummaged through her bag for a pack of tissues and carefully cleaned Yang Mo's shoulder. After finishing, she suddenly glared at him with her small eyes, pointing her slender finger at him and "threatened," "Don't you dare tell anyone about what happened today."

At that moment, Yang Mo felt a faint glow in his chest. He then reached out and gently grabbed her finger, holding it tenderly in his palm and said with deep emotion, "Don't worry, how could I share such a precious memory with anyone else?"

Yang Mo's sudden display of deep emotion made Jin Taehui feel a bit shy. She wanted to pull her finger out of his palm but didn't use much force, giving off a coy and reluctant feeling.

Seeing this, Yang Mo felt a sense of satisfaction. He didn't know why he suddenly became so affectionate, but he felt that breaking through a woman's defenses was a particularly satisfying thing.

"Let go," Jin Taehui pouted, finally pulling her hand back with some force. She then became embarrassed again, lowering her head with a slight blush.

Logically, she was nearly eight years older than Yang Mo, so if they were to develop a relationship, she should be the one taking the initiative. But... at that moment, she seemed like a passive and shy woman.

At this point, the flight attendant's voice came over the intercom, reminding everyone to fasten their seatbelts as the plane was about to land.

Yang Mo quickly turned to help Jin Taehui fasten her seatbelt, ignoring her embarrassment. After securing her, he fastened his own.

As the plane circled to find the runway, it suddenly dove, causing a sudden shift in gravity. Jin Taehui felt a bit panicked, and at that moment, Yang Mo grabbed her hand, interlocking their fingers without a word.

Held tightly by Yang Mo, Jin Taehui suddenly felt a sense of security and comfort.

Bang! Bang!

When the plane landed, it hit the ground hard twice due to the pilot's mistake. Jin Taehui couldn't help but scream, and Yang Mo quickly unfastened his seatbelt and pulled her into his arms. Jin Taehui also tightly hugged Yang Mo.

After the two impacts, the plane stabilized, but the two remained tightly embraced.

At this moment, a woman next to them, feeling a bit jealous, complained to her boyfriend, "Look at that boyfriend, he's protecting his girlfriend with his life. What about you?"

The woman spoke in English, so both Yang Mo and Jin Taehui understood. Jin Taehui felt a sweet sense of happiness. Which woman wouldn't want a man to step up and protect her in a critical moment? Although she and Yang Mo had only known each other for less than twenty hours, she already felt a growing affection for him. If Yang Mo pursued her aggressively, he could definitely win her over.

However, Yang Mo released her and sat back, apologizing, "I heard you scream and thought you were scared, so... I was a bit too forward."

"Oh, it's okay," Jin Taehui quickly shook her head to explain, but as soon as the words came out, she felt she might have been too forward, so she lowered her head again.

"We're about to land," Yang Mo said with a hint of sadness.

"Ah?" Jin Taehui's heart skipped a beat. She suddenly felt a sense of dependence on Yang Mo and was surprised at how quickly time had passed, and they were about to part ways.

Seeing Jin Taehui's melancholy, Yang Mo felt a bit more pleased. At least it showed that she was reluctant to leave him. This made things easier.

"Can I have your phone number?"

"Of course!" Jin Taehui immediately replied, but then regretted it, scolding herself for being so irrational.

Yang Mo quickly took out his phone and handed it to her, saying, "Write it down. I'll call you once I get a phone card in America."

Jin Taehui took the phone, hesitated for a moment, and then typed in a series of numbers. She then, almost unconsciously, wrote "hee," a nickname only a few close family members called her.

At this point, the flight attendant came to announce that first-class passengers could disembark. Jin Taehui quickly put on her black veil and oversized sunglasses, transforming back into the appearance of an Arab woman.

Yang Mo couldn't help but want to tease her, "Aren't you afraid of being mistaken for a terrorist at customs?"

"Bye, I'll go first. Remember to keep in touch." Jin Taehui made a phone call gesture and got off the plane first.

Yang Mo sat for a while before getting up. As he stepped out of the plane, the cold wind blew, and he suddenly felt much more awake. Reflecting on what had happened on the plane, he found it hard to believe: Was that really me? I'm clearly a flirt! When did I become so sentimental and smooth-talking?

Yang Mo didn't know why he had been so affectionate and smooth-talking, but it wasn't a bad thing. At least Miss Jin Taehui had deeply remembered him. And she even reminded him to stay in touch before leaving, and she was the top beauty of South Korea.

One could only say that Yang Mo was blessed with good fortune.

After leaving the airport, Yang Mo took a taxi to the nearest hotel and checked in. He then took out Powell's business card and made a call. The call was quickly connected, and upon learning that Yang Mo had arrived in Miami, Powell was very surprised. He was still in China, so he immediately arranged for staff and instructed Yang Mo to try out at the Miami training camp the next day. From his earnest tone, it was clear he didn't want to lose this promising talent.

With everything arranged, Yang Mo wasn't in a hurry.

Lying in bed, Yang Mo suddenly felt a sense of anticipation for the future.
