Time flies so fast, now it’s the middle of the month. It’s almost the end of the winter so it’s so cold.

Xu Qin always be serious in her work. She is clear-headed. But during the break, it’s hard for her to not worry about her promotion.

Today when she washes her hands, she loses her mind, she turns on the hot water. So she almost hurts her hands.

She sighs helplessly. She walks out of the bathroom and notices the fire extinguisher. She remembers Song Yan.

She stands there for a while and takes out her phone. She sends him a message. At first she wanted to send him message: “What are you doing?” She thinks about it and deletes it. She types again. “I miss you.”

Less than ten seconds, he calls her.

She immediately answers: “Hello?”

“What are you doing?” He asks. He sounds happy.

She also smiles because of his happy feeling. “I am thinking of you.”

He laughs and asks: “Is there something that makes you unhappy?”

She lowers her head and says: “Em….. today I was scolded by the professor again.”

“Why did he do that?”

“It might be because he demanded more from me.”

“It’s a great thing.” He says.

“Huh, you also want to scold me.”

“Am I?” He feels she is so funny.

She snorts lightly and leans back on the wall. She asks: “You ah, are you tired?”

“I”m okay.” He says. “These days we rarely go out on business, these days the citizens are good.”

She couldn’t help but to laugh: “How good are they?”

“They are nothing compare to you.” He says.

Her smile is getting bigger.

Because of their work, they just talk less than a minute and the call ends.

Xu Qin puts down her phone and releases her deep breath. Very quickly she gets back into her work.

After putting down his phone, Song Yan smiles lightly and continues to train the rescue dog.

At night 11:00 p.m., an hour before it almost the time to rotate the guards. Song Yan gets an order from the superior to go and help to extinguish the fire at the Liu Ye Tan’s bar.

The firefighters move quickly, there are three fire engines coming there.

Liu Yue Tan’s bar is a famous bar. It’s a crowded area.

The firefighters try to get there fast but there’s a traffic jam. So they are quite late.

The time they arrive at the front of the bar, there is heavy smoke coming from inside.

Luckily, most people are out and watching from outside.

Song Yan gets off the car: “Li Cheng, Jiang Yi and fifth group firefighters, go and evacuate the people; Xiao Ge, draw security line; Yang Chi, arrange the water belt and add more water pressure.”

Then several leaders gather together. The leader of the Liu Yue Tan’s firefighters also comes over to explain the situation. They want to make a plan how to handle the fire.

The bar structure is in concave shape, the end part is faced with the street.

There’s only one exit toward the street.

Inside the bar, it turns out there are several people trapped inside. The firefighters should rescue those people. The firefighters know that they should act quick. Very quickly they deploy people to get inside the fire scene in groups.

Song Yan puts on his face guard and leads a group.

There a lot of rooms in the bar,

The fire is raging heavily. The ash is floating everywhere.

It’s fire everywhere.

Song Yan feels somewhat unease when he is inside the fire scene. His whole body is sweating heavily, he feels like he is about to collapse soon. Normally he doesn’t feel that way. Though he has injured but in weeks he usually recovers quickly.

The firefighters get inside and searches for the people.

“The fire downstair is not really big.” Jiang Yi turns his head and yells: “The smoke is thick.”

Xiao Ge goes downstairs and suddenly sits down. He almost falls down.

Song Yan clutches his collar: “What happened?”

“No, I just feel unable to breath easily.” Xiao Ge says, he leans on the wall to stand up. He feels the wall is so hot. Suddenly there’s a noise.

Song Yan is startled.

It’s not only him that could’t bear this fire scene. He realizes that the temperature inside the room is too high.

He immediately looks at his basement. The black smoke is coming out from that part. It covers their waist and legs.

The atmosphere turns silent.

Song Yan has a bad premonition.

This…..

Song Yan pulls Xiao Ge downstair and yells: “Withdraw! Everyone! Go out!!”

Song Yan yells madly: “Everyone! Immediately withdraw!”

The fire just appears.

In a flash, the fire is filling the room. Everyone is burning.

There’s also a loud sound.

The flame is passing through everything.
