“Why you…” Huo Run stomped her feet and cried, “You’re the one that’s ugly!”

Even so, she was practically bursting with elation .

Huo Run’s grip on the cup of tea tightened as she strengthened her resolve .

Mo Ning frowned deeply and was about to throw questions at him when Jiang Xiuyuan saw something in the rearview mirror .

“Drive away!” Mo Ning noticed a few black sedans tailing behind them .

One of them poked their head out of the car’s window and started shooting right at them!

Mo Ning glared at Jiang Xiuyuan as she released the brake .

Then, she stepped on the accelerator and raced down the street .

There was no way she could go home like that, so Mo Ning drove toward a more secluded side of town .

The cars behind them followed closely and showed no signs of giving up .

“What do you think we should do?”

Jiang Xiuyuan asked so casually as if he was asking about the weather . Mo Ning wanted to put a bullet through his head herself!

She was so close to home, and yet he dragged her into a deathly car chase .

Besides, was he actually asking her for… advice?

It was not the time to argue with him, so Mo Ning stopped herself from boiling with rage and focused on the situation . She noticed a gun in his hand and said coldly, “Is that a prop or are you going to shoot them down with it?”

“Oh . ”

Jiang Xiuyuan nodded lazily and loaded his weapon in a fluid motion .

He studied the cars behind them, but spared a few moments to look at Mo Ning as well .

The latter was calm as she drove expertly, avoiding the bullets flying in their direction .

Mo Ning looked grim but not nervous at all .

Not bad, Jiang Xiuyuan thought to himself . He stuck his head out of the window, aimed, and pulled the trigger .

The bullet found its mark in a man’s forehead .

Anyone who stuck out of their window soon found themselves dead by Jiang Xiuyuan’s hands .

In just half a minute, half a dozen men had perished all thanks to his excellent marksmanship .

Mo Ning was secretly impressed by the young master of the Jiang family . As someone who had trained shooting for years, she found that he was at least as capable as she was .

Even in combat, Jiang Xiuyuan’s attitude was almost careless .

“It’s too bad their cars are modified to be bullet-proof . ”
