He had washed his face, and was walking

down the hallway to the sitting room.

Natsuki ran up to him and

pulled his arm.

“Good morning.”

“Hey, hey, Touya.

We’re going to be carrying out breakfast soon, so help us.”

“I

can help?”

Since the shy Kudou-san was in the kitchen, Touya

was never allowed to enter. Yesterday, he had sneaked away during

Natsuki and Akio’s nap to put away the dishes, but he hadn’t met

Kudou-san then either.

“It’s fine. Kudou-san is allowing

it.”

“We’ll be able to meet?”

“No. That still

seems to be impossible, but……but once some time goes by, you’ll

be able to meet. Touya, you wrote a note saying, thank you for all

the delicious food, didn’t you? Kudou-san seems to have opened their

heart just a little.”

Even though he left a note, he doubted

it would be read, but he seemed to be able to relay his feelings.

Since something happy had happened to him that morning, Touya no

longer felt depressed about the dream he had before he woke up. He

headed to the kitchen as Natsuki and Akio followed. This morning he

seemed to remember something sad, and cried. But now—he thought he

would cherish this place he could call home. Therefore……
