Touya couldn’t understand what Mimizuku was

trying to tell him.

“Really? Hey now, you’re a black cat,

right? I can tell right away when I look at you. Even if you can’t transform into a cat, I can tell. You can’t see that sort of thing?

Do you know what color cat I am?”

He

couldn’t see what he was talking about. He found out for the first

time that Natsuki and Akio were grey and orange tabby kittens when

they transformed.

“I can’t see it. Everyone else

can?”

“You can’t see it? I’m a black tabby cat with brown

and orange mixed in, it’s similar to the pattern of an owl, so I’m

called Mimizuku……everyone can usually see that sort of

thing right away……right?”

Wanting confirmation, Mimizuku

turned to Natsuki and Akio who nodded then immediately followed

up.

“Yeah……but Touya has just woken up……and can’t

transform yet. He’ll be able to see it soon.”

“I see. I

guess there’s those sort of cases too, huh. But, you’re kinda

different. When I look at you, I can tell you’re a black cat, and

that you’re undeveloped—

but oddly, you smell like a human. You’re

kind of different from the others.”
