Cheng Yao looked at the handsome face in front of her, feeling a little excited and a little nervous for no reason.

At about two o’clock in the afternoon, Cheng Yao prepared the meeting materials and sat in the meeting room two minutes in advance. But she was shocked to see Qian Heng, a veteran lawyer and boss of a law firm, also waiting for the client in the meeting room instead of answering emails in his office.

Cheng Yao felt very empathetic towards him,”Boss, if you have anything to do,you can go back to the office. I will call you when the client arrives.”

In the last law firm where Cheng Yao interned, although the lawyer and the client scheduled an appointment in advance, most clients always came late. The most extreme client Cheng Yao had encountered before, once made her wait for a full two hours.

To not waste time by waiting for the client, most of the big shot lawyers ask their interns or assistant lawyers to wait in the conference room first, and then notify them when their clients arrive. Otherwise, they would not be able to handle their other cases.

But Qian Heng didn’t appreciate Cheng Yao’s kindness at all and gave her a quick glance. “No need.” He smiled arrogantly and said each word slowly, “I, Qian Heng, never wait for anyone. If you are late even by one minute, for me that would mean you don’t want to work with me anymore.” He glanced at Cheng Yao with some sympathy, “You haven’t been in a good law firm before, that’s why you’re used to pampering clients. You need to change these bad habits that you’ve developed from other law firms.”

Almost as soon as he finished speaking, the administrative colleague knocked on the door, and then led two people into the meeting room.

Cheng Yao looked at her watch subconsciously. It was precisely two o’clock, not more than a minute.

It was a man and a woman who came in. The man was wearing a normal casual jacket, while the woman was covered from head to toe. They both were a little strange. They were obviously indoors, but they were still wearing hats, sunglasses and masks.

As soon as the man entered the meeting room, he glanced at Cheng Yao warily.

After hearing this, the man seemed to be relieved, and Li Yan then took off her sunglasses and mask.

It was Bai Xingmeng that appeared in front of Cheng Yao! Her favourite actress who played the role of Lingyao, Bai Xingmeng!

“Bai Xingmeng is her stage name.”

Qian Heng probably couldn’t stand her stupid face, and gave Cheng Yao a concise explanation.

So, Bai Xingmeng’s real name is… Li Yan?

This was simply too shocking, as if the famous senior hair stylist Tony returned home for the New Year and became the village’s Liu Dazhuang… 2
