Chapter 6

What is this?

I’m not a great person, and I learned the regeneration magic just because I thought it was a waste not to, so I never expected things to turn out like this.

What I mean by "this" is—

"Hey, Miss Saint of the Border Baron! Where are you off to today?"

"S-Saint? Ah, you mean me…? Hahaha… I have some business in the wheat field."

The story of turning the barren land into a lush meadow with regeneration magic spread instantly throughout Lord Fernando’s territory. Then, from the moment everyone started praising my magic as a miracle and calling me a messenger of the gods, things took a strange turn.

By the way, regeneration magic cannot be used on humans due to the restriction that it cannot revive the dead, but it has a similar principle to healing magic. Therefore, before I learned regeneration magic, I had mastered healing magic, but that didn’t go well either.

Starting with healing Lord Fernando’s friend, who had broken his arm in an accident, I began to treat one after another people with serious injuries who came to me, and I couldn’t turn them away, so I healed everyone.

After that, someone started calling me "The Saint of the Border" and "The Goddess of Regeneration," which are nicknames that don’t fit me at all, and they quickly spread throughout the territory due to the characteristics of the border land.

Even though I’ve only been at Lord Fernando’s mansion for a week, I’ve already been greeted with clasped hands by an old lady I don’t know.

It’s too much. I don’t think I fit the role of a saint at all. I feel so embarrassed that I want to bury my face in my pillow and kick my legs.

"Miss Saint is here!"

"Blessed. Blessed."

"Lord has acquired a wonderful daughter."

Thirty seconds after arriving, I think my face was bright red. Please stop calling me a saint and stop clasping your hands.

I visited the wheat field with the guards arranged by Lord Fernando. Apparently, a large monster broke through the barrier magic and ravaged the field last night when they tried to harvest.

"Regeneration magic…!"

"Ooooooh!!"

Cheers went up as the wheat field returned to its state from yesterday. This is not only a matter of life and death for the farmers but also for us, so I put more effort into it than usual.

"And the Light Guardian Array!"

"Uoooooh!!"

"That’s the Norman family’s barrier technique!"

"Executing the highest difficulty Light Guardian Array so easily!"

The Norman family, known for their lineage of mages, was particularly skilled in creating barriers with light attribute magic. My older sister’s engagement to Border Baron Fernando was probably for this reason. I heard that border regions have many monsters, so mages who can create barriers are highly valued.

But it’s so embarrassing to be watched like this.

If there were a hole, I’d want to crawl into it…

"Guuuuuuoon!"

"Light Great Sword"

I also pierced a giant light blade into a flying dragon that was trying to attack the wheat field from the sky and repelled it. Is this okay? I’m going home. I’ll go home and bury my face in my pillow—

"Miss Saint!!!"

Sister, I’m a little regretful about taking your place, but Sylvia is doing well. How is the capital?

Just as I was about to send a letter with this content, Alvin-sama unexpectedly came here. What business does the second prince have in the border region…? Alvin is here.
