"Uwaaaah!"

One of the men, attempting to escape before being completely surrounded, started running in a direction where no one was.

"Uhh...?"

Seeing the golem, made of earth, start moving to chase the man, Will frowned.

The golem, created from earth, was heavy.

Even though it was small, it had poor mobility.

"I won't let you escape."

Ellis, who had anticipated the golem's speed, waved her staff.

"Come forth, spirits of mist! Mirror of morning mist,

Show me my reflection in the water mist!"

A large number of Ellis's clones blocked the man's path.

"Even if they are clones, it will hurt if they hit you."

"Damn..."

The man stopped in his tracks, facing the clones who had raised their staffs in unison.

There was no place to run.

Rin was also measuring the distance, ready to jump in at any moment, and the other servants were also on guard, ready to move at any time.

The only way out was to be chased endlessly by Will's golem.

"......?"

The golem had stopped moving, remaining in a standby state.

The man in the cloak looked at Will with a puzzled expression.

Will, instead of urging the golem as before, had his arms crossed and was tilting his head.

Everyone was filled with question marks at this sight.

"What's wrong, Will?"

The young spirit girl descended beside Will.

"The golem is slow..."

Will frowned deeply.

The young spirit girl nodded in understanding.

"It's because it's an earth attribute, there's nothing we can do about it."

"Guess so..."

It was unreasonable to expect agility from earth magic, which increases in power with greater mass.

With more training, Will could control the golem more smoothly, but he didn't have that skill yet as a beginner.

"Got it!"

The young spirit girl, who had been looking at Will with a worried gaze, suddenly had an idea and clapped her hands.

She smiled and raised her hand to Will, who was looking up at her.

"Spirits, gather!"

The young spirit boys floated over to the girl, who was calling them to gather.

"What's up?"

"What is it?"

The young wind spirits linked arms and beckoned Will over.

Will joined them, and the four of them started discussing something.

It was a circle of Will, Plus, and the wind spirits.

"What's going on?"

Shiro, seeing his child's peculiar actions, smiled dryly.

Just then, the knight Gaius, who had finished giving orders to his subordinates, arrived with a few of them.

The knights were taken aback by the large wind wolf but approached when they recognized it as Shiro's幻兽 (fantom beast).

"Lord Shiro, Lady Cecilia!"

Gaius called out loudly, and Shiro raised a finger to signal for him to be quiet.

"What are you doing, Lord Shiro?"

"Will has started something... Just watch quietly."

Shiro pointed to his child with his gaze, and Gaius turned to see the children forming a circle.

The knights who had rushed over were stunned by the sight.

"Is that... a wind spirit?"

Gaius, seeing the rarely seen spirits, muttered in surprise.

Two knights who had left the包围 (surrounding) of the private soldiers to the Turquis family's servants approached Gaius and Shiro.

"Let's just watch quietly, Captain."

"He's been amazing since a while ago."

"No, no... We can't leave the task of surrounding the criminal to the citizens..."

Cecilia, who had approached, stopped Gaius, who was regaining his composure and turning to the knights.

"There's no need to worry. The opponent is someone who has turned against the Turquis family. If we let Will do as he pleases, we can't burden the knights."

"Lady Cecilia..."

"Please raise your visors."

Cecilia smiled gently at the knights who were kneeling with their heads bowed.

"As a mother, I may not wish for it, but please watch over Will."

"Such a thing is out of the question... I understand, Lady Cecilia."

Gaius, who had hurriedly stood up, turned his gaze towards Will.

Will and the spirits, who were in a circle, seemed to be continuing their discussion.

"Really?"

"Can you do it?"

"Can we?"

"Anyway, we're doing it!"

The discussion ended with the young spirit girl pushing through.

Will, accompanied by the wind spirits, walked over to the private soldiers and bowed.

"Sorry for the wait."

"No, that's why we were waiting..."

Ignoring the groaning man in the cloak, Will restarted the golem.

The golem moved and stood between Will and the man in the cloak.

"Will, it was easy last time because of the幻兽 (fantom beast)'s magic, but this time it's only your magic."

The gentle spirit encouraged Will, who nodded firmly.

Will raised the spirit lantern and the beginner's staff to eye level, and the spirit grabbed his hands from behind.

The active spirit, standing next to the serious spirit girl, watched Will nervously.

"Here we go!"

The private soldiers braced themselves as Will declared this with a heavy breath.

It felt like they were part of an experiment.

"Ah, come on!"

The man in the cloak, giving up, shouted back.

Will, following the spirit's guidance, cast a spell.

"Come forth, spirits of wind! Boots of spring breeze,

Grant me the swift wind as my companion, March of the chasing wind!"

"Wha...?"

The thugs, who had braced themselves, let out a surprised and confused sound.

The onlookers were equally stunned.

This was because the spell Will had cast was an auxiliary spell to increase the movement speed of an ally.

Thinking about whose movement speed he was trying to increase, everyone's gaze focused on one spot.

"Y-You can't be... the golem!?"

Morgan muttered in shock.

His subordinates supported him as he stumbled.

It felt like they were witnessing a bad joke.

Some spells are a combination of multiple spells, known as composite spells.

The creation of a golem is one of these, classified as an earth attribute spell but also incorporating a tree attribute core.

However, composite spells are always combined before activation.

Normally, additional spells are not added to a completed spell.

What Will and the spirits were trying to do was not a combination but an addition of a wind attribute spell to an earth attribute spell.

This was a connection.

If one spell hits another, they usually cancel each other out—this was the common belief.

But to Will, who was almost ignorant of magic, such principles were irrelevant.

"It stuck! ♪"

"Wow, amazing!"

"Looks like anything is possible if you try."

"Really. I thought it was half a joke."

The young spirit boys glared at the giggling spirit girl.

Will, oblivious, gazed at his golem, which now had a greenish glow enveloping its sturdy earth body, with sparkling eyes.

"Wow! The golem looks so strong!"

Eager to move it, Will turned to the spirits.

"Can I? Can I? Can I move the golem, Will?"

The spirits, smiling at Will's voice, gave a thumbs up.

With their permission, Will turned back to the private soldiers, who were frozen in disbelief.

Will, with a beaming smile, raised his wand.

It was time for the punishment.

"Puradevil..."

One of the private soldiers muttered, seeing Will cast a powerful spell with a delighted expression.

"Go, golem!"

The golem, receiving Will's command, roared "Ooo!" and gathered strength in its limbs.

"......Huh?"

In the next moment, the golem, raising a cloud of dust, moved at high speed and, due to its incredible speed, couldn't stop in front of the private soldiers and instead knocked the man in the cloak flying.

The man, thrown like he had been hit by a carriage, flew over the servants' encirclement, hit the ground, and rolled for about twenty meters before finally stopping.

"......Wow."

Will, seeing the man fly, let out a surprised exclamation.

"M-More..."

The man, now a pitiful victim, groaned faintly and lost consciousness.

Shiro and the others, speechless at the scene before them, watched as Will gave an embarrassed smile.

"Oops, oops."

The golem flailed its limbs and made a high-speed turn.

The private soldiers, who were now the targets, had their faces contorted in fear.

"One more time!"

"Please, spare us!"

If they were hit in the wrong spot, they could die.

The thugs, trembling with fear, all threw themselves at Will in a full prostration.
