Shiro explained Wil's abilities to Morgan and the others once again.

- He can see the flow of magic.

- He can reproduce it just by seeing it.

The scale at which he can do this is unknown. Shiro had been teaching him non-aggressive magic, considering the dangers around them (though Minna still got injured), but after yesterday's incident, Wil had learned many offensive spells. Morgan and the others listened silently, but they had witnessed Wil's full-color glow yesterday. They listened seriously, believing Shiro's explanation. Then, Shiro said,

"I want you to teach us the detailed magic of golem creation."

People generally do not casually share the magic they excel at. Magic is a strength. Just being able to do what others cannot increases one's value. At the same time, it is also a weakness. If someone is attacked and the attacker can devise a countermeasure, even a significant power gap can be overturned. Of course, Shiro would not attack Morgan. However, golem creation is a rare magic. If the method of use becomes known, it would only increase Morgan's business rivals. As an adventurer, that is not desirable.

"I don't intend to spread it... but, you know."

Even so, there is no guarantee that it won't leak. Both Shiro and Morgan understood this. The recipients would be Serena and Wil. While Serena might be fine, it was questionable whether Wil, who can learn magic just by seeing it, could understand the importance of keeping it a secret, especially given his age.

Morgan crossed his arms and grunted. He understood Shiro's request, but this was not just a personal issue. He was the leader of the "Earth Giants," and the livelihoods of his subordinates were at stake. One of his subordinates smiled at the troubled Morgan.

"Isn't your mind already made up?"

"Huh?"

The surprised Morgan was met with smiles from the other subordinates.

"You would have taught it without hesitation if it were just the leader, right?"

"That's right. Plus, didn't you say something last night?"

Shiro and the others looked at each other in confusion. Morgan waved his hands in a flustered manner.

"No, but you guys, that is..."

"Regardless, our feelings haven't changed."

The subordinates' warm smiles made Morgan sigh in resignation. More than anything, he had proposed it himself. He wanted to see how Wil would grow.

"Damn, it's about you guys."

Morgan turned to Shiro with a smile.

"Alright, Mr. Shiro. I'll explain the magic of golem creation to the best of my ability."

Shiro's expression brightened at Morgan's words. He stood up and shook hands with Morgan.

"Thank you! I really appreciate it, and I'll make sure to thank you properly!"

Shiro was relieved to get a positive response. The explanation would take place after lunch, and Morgan would become a teacher for the first time in his life.

"Please teach us, Mr. Morgan."

"Please teach us, Mr. Morgan."

After lunch, Serena and Wil bowed politely, and Morgan made a slightly awkward face.

"Can't we do something about the 'Mr.' part?"

"「...?」"

Serena and Wil tilted their heads in confusion. Morgan sighed in resignation.

"Fine, let's get started."

Morgan looked around. In the sandbox, besides Wil, Shiro, Cecilia, and the other servants were present. Nina, who lacked earth affinity, was not participating this time. She was playing with Geborg, accompanied by Aika, Minna, and John, and a fragment of the wind.

"Isn't it unfair to not teach that child anything?"

The fragment of the wind argued. Shiro had warned against teaching dangerous magic, but he was concerned, so he assigned three people to watch over her.

"Ahem."

Morgan, nervous about the unfamiliar task, elicited a chuckle from the "Earth Giants" members.

"Are you listening? From me, you will learn two spells..."

"Two~?"

"Yes, two. The first one is the golem creation that Master Wil learned yesterday..."

"Call me Wil~?"

His story was interrupted. Morgan smiled wryly and corrected himself.

"The first one is the golem creation that Master Wil learned yesterday. The second one I will show you now."

Morgan placed his hand on his sword and focused his consciousness on the sandbox.

"Come forth, spirits of the earth! Messengers of the soil,

Obey my command and rise as warriors of the earth!"

Magic spread through the sand, and the ground began to rise. The mass quickly took on a human-like shape.

"Wow..."

"Amazing..."

Wil's eyes sparkled, and Serena was amazed. Morgan shifted his gaze from the completed clay figure to Wil and the others.

"This is the second spell, Clayman creation. It requires less magic than golem creation and has a similar magic distribution, making it good practice for golem creation."

Clayman creation is a lower-level version of golem creation. However, Morgan explained that because it is more human-like, it is better suited for detailed tasks than golems.

"Normally, you would practice creating Claymen to strengthen your magic, and once you can create them easily, you would learn golem creation..."

Morgan glanced at Wil, who had learned to create golems in one step. Wil was engrossed in the Clayman in front of him, touching and playing with it while exclaiming in wonder. Morgan smiled and continued.

"Once you get used to it, you can do things like this."

Magic filled the air beside the Clayman, and another Clayman was created. Morgan commanded one to lift Wil and the other to kneel before Serena like a knight before a noble lady. Serena's expression brightened.

"High~!"

Wil, lifted up, spread his arms and laughed carefree. Morgan commanded the Claymen to return to their original positions.

"First, Lady Serena, you will learn Clayman creation. Master Wil, you can already use it, right?"

"I learned it~"

Wil raised his hand enthusiastically. Morgan smiled wryly, knowing this was typical of Wil.

"Before I have Lady Serena cast the spell... Master Wil."

Wil tilted his head in confusion as Morgan asked,

"Master Wil, do you remember how many attributes you used when you created the golem?"

"Wha!?"

Wil, surprised, thought hard. Then he counted on his fingers.

"One, two, three... three!"

Morgan nodded in satisfaction at Wil's answer.

"Yes, that's right. Earth, darkness, and tree... a combination of these three attributes."

"That sounds difficult..."

Synthesis magic is already difficult, and the tree attribute is one of the more complex attributes.

"Yes. One of the reasons why there are few users of golem creation, despite its relative fame, is this. Synthesis magic is difficult to master. The lower-level Clayman creation is not widely known. The amount of magic required is high, so the abilities do not match the magic cost. And most importantly..."

Morgan smiled wryly and continued.

"It can't be used in profitable dungeon runs."

Dungeons are considered to be living entities that naturally occur in places with high concentrations of magic. Inside them, it is impossible to create Claymen or golems using earth as a base.

"I only use golems and Claymen for monster hunting requests."

"Really?"

Wil nodded, though it was unclear if he understood.

"However, I can assure you that it is an excellent spell in emergencies."

"I'll do my best."

Morgan smiled at Serena's determined expression.

"Let's give it a try, then."

Encouraged by Morgan, the children's training began.
