At the end of the hallway, there was a white wooden door. A simple plaque printed with the word “Infirmary” was nailed to the top.

“Go on,” the man prompted coldly.

Bai Zhi’s face flushed a bright crimson, “I…… down there…… was stuffed with a plug. I want it out…… and also, I want…… birth control pills.”

“Ask whoever put it in to take it out,” Doctor Ye replied frowning.

“…… He…… I……” Bai Zhi was extremely embarrassed. She didn’t know what to say, “Zhao… Zixun… left early this morning……”

“Zhao Zixun?” the man contemplated. His eyes filled with interest. “Go behind the curtain and lie down.”

Bai Zhi walked cautiously to the cloth partition in the corner of the room and laid down on a sterile hospital bed. Her legs were slightly bent but tightly closed together.
