【Skill: Concealment】

Using this skill allows you to freely rewrite status information.

However, even if you change your attack power from 1000 to 10000, your actual attack power won't become ten times stronger.

The purpose of using this skill is limited to when you show your status screen to others.

When you show your status screen to others,

- Only your name

- Your name and level only

- Your name and skills only

you can choose to show only the information you want to show.

However, you cannot hide part of the information you show.

For example, if your level is 1000, you can't hide the last 0 to make it 100, and if you have the skills "Body Reinforcement" and "Basic Magic," you can't hide "Body Reinforcement" and show only "Basic Magic."

This is what the Concealment skill is designed to do.

...I think someone with a good intuition would already understand the danger of this skill.

By creating a fake status screen using Concealment, you can easily deceive others.

For example, you might pretend to be a low-level player to infiltrate a lower-ranked party and steal their possessions, or you might pretend to be a high-level player to leech off other parties.

Therefore, obtaining the Concealment skill is generally prohibited.

However, in practice, there's no way to verify which adventurers possess Concealment, and just having it isn't a crime.

Instead, if it's discovered that you used Concealment for criminal activities, you will be punished several times more severely than usual.

"The laws related to dungeons are lagging behind. Well, it's inevitable given that new phenomena occur every year..."

Muttering this, I used 5000 SP to acquire Concealment.

"Alright, this should solve the immediate problem."

In the future, I plan to increase the number of dungeons I clear by focusing on C-rank dungeons.

However, during the first attempt, you can't use the in-dungeon transfer, so you have to go through the gate.

If it becomes clear that your level is obviously out of place, there's a risk of arousing suspicion.

Even if I can get away with it once or twice, if I repeat it, my rapid level-up speed might become known to others.

If it's discovered that I'm receiving rewards for clearing dungeons repeatedly without regard for the time span, it could become a serious issue.

At this point, I'm still a weakling, and I could be targeted for assassination, both domestically and internationally.

I need to avoid that.

"Once you reach B-rank, the challenge conditions change, so there are ways to deceive, but it would be reckless to challenge a B-rank dungeon with my current stats..."

I exceed the minimum level of 3000 required to challenge a B-rank dungeon, but for safety, I'd prefer to be at level 5000.

Therefore, I plan to clear a total of 10 dungeons to meet the conditions for a title before challenging a B-rank dungeon.

With today's Arikawa Dungeon, I've cleared 5 dungeons, so I have 5 more to go.

"Alright, I'll put in more effort starting tomorrow. Yeah!"

I raised one hand to pump myself up, but it felt hollow.
