Defeating him, overthrowing him, and continuing to advance—this goal left no room for doubt or change in Yang Cankan's heart. Over the years, the entire clan had paid a heavy price, and Yang Cankan was well aware of it. This battle was the last stand for the entire Dishi Clan! They could not lose, they would not lose! Yang Cankan had never doubted that he would be defeated by the Wenhunter across from him. Yang Cankan knew the Wenhunting techniques used by the hundred clans of the Western Mountain, and they were worlds apart from the Wenhunting and Soul techniques he practiced, as different as heaven and earth.

Even though the young man had not yet used his Wenhunting beast, he was using archery to engage Yang Cankan, displaying formidable strength and unfathomable depth. Yet, Yang Cankan did not waver or doubt for a moment. He lunged forward, determined to strike him down, and that was all.

As he moved, a fierce gust of wind came from behind, and Yang Cankan felt a heavy pressure sneakily attack his back. He barely managed to dodge Bu Li's arrow, his body almost touching the ground, leaving him with little room to maneuver. This blow prevented Yang Cankan from continuing his charge at Bu Li. His heart grew cold, and his right hand, equipped with a claw, struck the stone of the Tiance Platform with lightning speed. In an impossible situation, his body flashed to the side, and a large, thick bear paw, accompanied by a strong wind, struck the ground next to Yang Cankan, the claws leaving three scratches on his animal skin.

The missed strike left Yang Cankan no time to attack Bu Li. Dahei did not pursue but instead, without any regard for his dignity, lunged in the opposite direction as if Yang Cankan were there. He appeared to be throwing himself into the fray, and if he had lunged in the right direction, everyone would have thought he was a fierce and loyal hunter's beast. However, Dahei lunged toward an empty space.

No one could understand what he was trying to do. It was utterly shameless, a truly despicable hunter's beast. A top-notch beast was the right arm and left leg of a Western Mountain hunter, but this fierce-looking black bear, performing such incomprehensible actions, seemed to be there for comic relief.

Everyone watched Dahei's shameless performance in stunned silence, at a loss for words to describe the black bear Bu Li brought.

Bu Li transferred his horn longbow to his right hand and drew the string with his left. The white mountain hunting leopard had already pounced, its foul smell filling Bu Li's nostrils. Despite its massive size, it moved with incredible agility, its feet barely touching the ground as it leaped backward. In the split second before impact, Bu Li still managed to shoot an ironwood arrow.

Strangely, even in the face of the Wenhunting beast's attack, Bu Li's arrow still aimed at Yang Cankan, as if the pure Wenhunting beast were just an illusion, not worth considering.

Like a flying goose, he spread his wings and flew backward, and Bu Li's body was already halfway off the Tiance Platform.

"Ah!" A series of intermittent gasps echoed around the Tiance Platform, as everyone was immersed in the incredibly swift battle. Falling off the Tiance Platform would mean losing the match, and Bu Li was now half off the platform, just a step away from defeat.

The old man in black still had a wooden expression, seemingly indifferent to Bu Li's fate. Bai Xu, however, was so nervous that his palms were drenched in sweat. Seeing Bu Li about to fall off the Tiance Platform, his heart felt like it was about to leap out of his chest.

Initially, there had been little hope for Bu Li, as long as he did not hinder the clan's "Legacy Clan Trial" in five years. But Bu Li's extraordinary archery skills had instantly won over everyone, including Bai Xu, leaving him with a complex mix of emotions that words could not describe. Unfortunately, Bu Li could not practice Wenhunting techniques. If he had two Wenhunting beasts, even the incomplete Wenhunting techniques of the clan, combined with such exquisite archery, he might not have lost to Yang Cankan. If he could enter that great mountain, the room for maneuver for a mountain hunter like Bu Li would be magnified to an unimaginable degree, and no one could say how far he could go.

What a pity...

Regardless of what the people below were thinking, the battle on the Tiance Platform continued at a rapid pace. Yang Cankan, ambushed from behind by Cai Xiaoxian, was momentarily delayed. But this was no longer important, as Bu Li had been forced off the Tiance Platform by the Wenhunting beast.

The mountain hunting leopard pounced on Bu Li without hesitation, even as Bu Li's body was completely off the Tiance Platform, refusing to let him go.

Like a large stone, Bu Li's body suddenly plummeted, the sudden movement catching everyone off guard.

Sighs of regret echoed in the hearts of many. Although Bu Li's dodge was spectacular, in the confined space of the Tiance Platform, it was not suitable for a hunter. Even if he managed to evade the mountain hunting leopard's attack, he would inevitably fall off the Tiance Platform, and the battle would be lost.

Regardless, this was just a platform battle, far removed from the true "Legacy Clan Trial" in the mountains. Watching Bu Li's exquisite archery, many clan leaders even entertained a strange thought: how far could this young man go if he entered the mountains of the "Legacy Clan Trial"?

Yang Cankan did not pause, noticing the black bear's awkward retreat after missing its strike, finding it strange but having no time to think about it. In the split second of action, everything relied on instinct and determination, leaving no room to consider the bizarre actions of the despicable black bear.

Giving Bu Li no chance, Yang Cankan's right hand, equipped with a claw, struck the Tiance Platform again, using the force to leap in the direction of Bu Li's fall. Even if Bu Li could find a way to return from mid-air, he would fall into Yang Cankan's attack. At that point, Bu Li would have no room to maneuver or find a foothold, and defeat would be inevitable.

Seeing Yang Cankan face his opponent with such caution and seriousness, the Dishi Clan leader, Yang Ye, smiled. In battle, one must attack like a lion pouncing on a rabbit, using all one's strength. This battle was a matter of life and death for the entire Dishi Clan, and there could be no room for error. Yang Cankan was doing an excellent job, and Yang Ye was very satisfied.

The smile had just appeared when it froze on Yang Ye's face, replaced by a complex mix of disbelief, unwillingness, anger, and rage. The situation on the field changed dramatically in an instant.

The mountain hunting leopard pounced, and for some reason, a black aura appeared around its waist. With the black aura, the fierce leopard seemed to lose its bones, falling even faster than Bu Li had just moments before.

What was happening? All the clan leaders and priests watched the Tiance Platform in shock. Bu Li's fall was blocked by the mountain, and no one could see what was happening. They only saw the once fierce and vicious mountain hunting leopard fall like it was dead.
