We put as much luggage as we could on the backpack and secured it with a rope.
What are you, a Sherpa on Mount Everest? I thought to myself as I looked at the pile of luggage, taller than I was, and sighed.
“Huh? You’re injured, goblin.”
Injured? I’m not sure what to make of it.
“It’s just a scratch, it’ll heal on its own.”
“No! Some people die from small injuries.”
The village girl quickly applied herbs to the wound and wrapped the bandage around it. Not too tight, not too loose.
It was a simple treatment, but I knew she was good at it.
“Thank you, village girl.”
“You’re welcome.”
She smiled at him. A smile I want to keep! She is not a pretty girl, but when she smiles, she is very pretty. She is not beautiful, but when she smiles, she is very pretty.
I’ve been killing each other for a while now. It’s so soothing.
I’m carrying a huge lump of luggage on my back.
“Village girl, are you ready?”
For a few seconds, she closes her eyes and clenches her fists. Then she slowly opened her eyes.
“Yes, let’s go, goblin.”
I will never forget the look on her face as she said this.
The villagers remained in their houses. It was as quiet as a ghost town.
At the exit of the village, the girl pauses for a moment. But she did not stop. She walked on with strong steps.
She told us that it would take about two weeks to reach our destination, Rock Cliff, on foot. It would take a week for a fit person to go to Rockcliffe without being stopped by the rain. If you are not strong enough, get rained on, or have a lot of luggage, it will take about two weeks.
We thought we had enough money to buy food in the villages along the way, but the nearby villages are so rural that bartering is more common than cash.
The closer you get to Rock Cliff, the more money you can use. The closer you get to Rockcliffe, the more money you can use. Even if you have money in a rural village, you can’t spend it unless a peddler comes along.
After hearing this, I decided to collect the dried meat from the base. But the village girl didn’t seem to have the strength to walk through the forest.
I could have asked her to wait for me on the road with my luggage, but that would have been like giving food to bandits.
I was in trouble, so I decided to carry her in a princess’s arms into the forest. Her physical ability was better than before, probably because she had improved her level by defeating the villagers.
She was shy at first, but after I carried her for a while, she laughed and said, “It’s easy” and plodded her feet.
I was not aware that she was a woman, so I carried her in my arms without ulterior motive.
It was the first time in a year that I had felt the softness and sweet smell of a woman. The wild man was about to become a wild man. I walked with a calm look on my face, but in my heart, I was frantically counting prime numbers.
We collected the dried meat and returned to the road. As I walked with the girl, I tried my best to talk. I was afraid of the silence.
Would she hate me for taking away her home? I was afraid of that.
Fortunately, there was plenty to talk about. I don’t know anything about this world. I would ask questions, and the village girl would answer. We walked along the street, talking like this.
I asked her about the common knowledge that everyone knows, but she didn’t look uncomfortable and answered thoughtfully without asking me about it.
We had a lot of conversations. We had a lot of exchanges. I had never spoken to her slowly before, so I respectfully talked to her after I had left the village and settled down.
I was told to stop because it was disgusting. It wasn’t very good. We didn’t ask each other’s names for some reason. The name of the village girl and the goblin became fixed.
When we were unsure if we would reach the next village before nightfall, I carried her in my arms and ran. I was so excited. I wondered if this was love.
One day, after I had been travelling with her for a while, I suddenly realized that she had been in a relationship with someone else. She resembled a woman I used to date.
Not in appearance, but in character. She has low self-esteem, is devoted to others and tends not to take care of herself. She is a bit natural.
Maybe he was chasing the shadow of his old lover who was touched to heal his worn-out heart in his wildlife… I felt like my view suddenly opened.
It’s too feminine to be chasing the shadow of an old lover until you come to another world, and you can laugh. When I realized that, the strange dependence I had on my village girl disappeared…
I began to see her not as a replacement for my former lover, but as an individual village girl. And I was attracted to her again.
One day, after some time of travelling, it became clear that there was no village within a reasonable distance and that we would have to make camp, no matter how quickly.
We set up camp and lay awake at night in front of the fire. By the way, I hadn’t checked my level.
To check my level, I had to use the magic tools in the church. That’s what the village girl told me.
I can see my Status anywhere, which means I’m different. I was with her the whole time so that I couldn’t check. She’s sleeping in her tent.
This was my chance to see her Status. I checked my surroundings, made sure it was only the girl and me and said softly: “Status open.
“Status open.”

A new breed of goblin
monster
Oh, there’s a lot more levels, a lot more skills! I mean, humans have a lot of experience. War heroes and their levels are going to be terrible.
I’m getting a bit stronger, but I’d better not get carried away.
You’re getting more and more titles, “Monster”. I think it’s because I attacked a village and killed a lot of people.
Don’t be sober. After all, God has a bad personality.
The day after I killed the villagers, I had a nightmare. The village chief’s mad face appeared again and again, and I heard the curse word repeatedly and suffered. But that was it.
Since then, I haven’t had any more nightmares, and I hardly feel guilty at all.
I wondered if I had killed so many goblins that I no longer felt compelled to take their lives. Did the gods change my body when I came to this world and transformed my mind? Or was I just a psychopath who didn’t realize it? I don’t care which, it’s better than being consumed by guilt.
This world is not like peaceful Japan. ……
The journey with the village girl went smoothly. I was expecting to be attacked by bandits on the way, but I was not attacked. A man carrying a large load and a girl, I think they are good ducks.
When I told the girl that, she said that the bandits, who were mainly hungry peasants, would not have attacked a man carrying such a massive load with an indifferent face.
So this huge load was also meant to avoid bandits. Maybe the village girl is smarter than I thought.
As usual, I walk along the street with the village girl. I casually asked her a question I had yesterday. She said that the one who killed so many people in the war had reached an extraordinary level.
“The merciful gods don’t approve of people killing each other, and when they do, they get very little experience. But if you kill an elf or a beastman, you get experience. It was easier to kill another race than to kill a dangerous monster. Many other races were killed by poison and trickery, and the same was true for humans. Sadly, mankind, elves and beastmen continue to fight each other.”
I was shocked to hear the story of the village girl. I love fluffy things, but we’re at war with beastmen! I can’t get any fluff! Normally, I would think that this is the case.
But it’s not like that, people don’t get much experience from each other, according to …….
I’ve gained a lot of levels by killing people.
What on earth am I who kills people and gets a lot of experience points?. The word “monster” in the status title column.
The village girl was saying something, but I couldn’t hear her. The world was silent, and my ears were ringing.
Hey God, this tinkering is not funny at all.
