Just like the regular season, the playoffs lasted for seven days.
After the adjustments CLM made during the regular season, they played very stably in the playoffs. Not only did Mo Chen and Wen Xi rank first in their duo matches, but Chen Wei and Ling Shuyi also managed to rank mostly in the top three in their solo matches. They occasionally made mistakes and fell into the top five, but that was completely acceptable to all of CLM’s members.
Squad matches would always be the SGH League’s focus. Fortunately, CLM’s lineup had been broken in very well since Wen Xi had joined. Therefore, although there were two days during the competition where they didn’t rank in the top three, CLM’s overall score was still far superior to all of the other teams.
The final day of the competition hadn’t even started yet, but the Spring Championship no longer had any suspense.
However, when the last squad match was over and the final results were displayed on the big screen, whether it was the casters or CLM’s fans, their excitement was difficult to contain.
“Let’s congratulate CLM on winning the Spring Championship!”
After Caster A-Yi spoke, his voice was almost drowned out by the screams at the scene.
When Chen Xiao saw their team’s name on the big screen, he was so excited that he directly went to hug and pick up Chen Wei!
Chen Wei:???
Just after Chen Wei was put down, he was then fiercely hugged by Ling Shuyi, to the point where he was unable to move.
“AHHHHHHH WE WON THE CHAMPIONSHIP!” Ling Shuyi yelled, first laughing, then crying, and then crying and laughing—This was the first time he had won the championship in an official competition!
Chen Wei pushed him away by pressing against his shoulder, completely giving him the cold-shoulder. “It’s just the Spring Championship. Have you forgotten what our goal really is?”
“Yes, yes, yes, we have to win the world championship!” Ling Shuyi said that, but he still clung to Chen Wei.
Chen Xiao looked at the interactions between the two people and was about to die of laughter. He suddenly thought of something and turned to look at Liu Weizhe beside him, and saw that he was also looking in the direction of the two people laughing.
Chen Xiao naturally knew who he was looking at. He bumped him with his shoulder and asked, “Shouldn’t you do something?”
Liu Weizhe was stunned for a moment and looked back at him. He was puzzled and asked back, “Do what?”
So Chen Xiao looked in the direction of Mo Chen and Wen Xi.
Liu Weizhe looked over instinctively, and saw how Mo Chen bowed his head to kiss Wen Xi’s forehead. Wen Xi raised his head in astonishment, and when he finally realized what had happened, he rushed over and laughed helplessly. Mo Chen raised his hand and wrapped it around Wen Xi’s waist as he laughed.
The interaction between the two was natural and sweet, which made Liu Weizhe’s eyes flutter crazily—This was too much!
Before he could react, he was pushed by Chen Xiao and stumbled towards Chen Wei and Ling Shuyi.
Originally, Chen Wei was still messing around with Ling Shuyi, but when he saw Liu Weizhe get pushed towards them, he forcefully pushed Ling Shuyi away and stepped forward, grabbing Liu Weizhe’s arm and holding him steady. “Be careful. It’s easy to fall here.”
“Uh….en,” Liu Weizhe said, taking a long time to return to his senses. He clicked his tongue—Why push him? He was wearing high heels! What if he fell?
Chen Wei liked Liu Weizhe, but he had a sense of propriety, so he immediately released his grip after stabilizing him.
However, just as he was about to appeal for everyone to have a good meal in the evening, Liu Weizhe grabbed his wrist before he could speak.
Chen Wei froze for a moment, before glancing back and meeting his gaze with a confused expression.
Liu Weizhe was also stunned. After a while, he remembered what he was going to say. “I have something I want to say to you alone. When will you be free?”
“It’s up to you, I’m free at any time. Whenever you call, I’ll come~” Chen Wei responded with such a sentence and immediately showed a sunny smile to Liu Weizhe.
Liu Weizhe was infected by his smile, and the corner of his lip couldn’t help but draw up. He thought to himself: He’s smiling so foolishly…
It had to be said that although Chen Wei and Chen Xiao were biological brothers, their personalities were completely different.
They were clearly only two and half years apart, but Chen Xiao was much more mature and steady.
In contrast, Chen Wei was really talkative and funny—but Liu Weizhe didn’t find him annoying like that.
He felt that if a person like Chen Wei was by his side, he would never be lonely.
While in regards to Chen Xiao, Liu Weizhe had thought carefully about him these past few days, and realized his feelings towards Chen Xiao were more like gratitude and dependence.
Maybe it was because Chen Xi had taken care of him a lot during university. In addition, they had lived together for four years and Liu Weizhe had developed feelings while being with him, so he wanted to stay with him all the time and never separate.
Liu Weizhe wasn’t sure whether this kind of feeling was love or not, but he also felt that it didn’t matter.
Mature love wasn’t “consistent from beginning to end,” or “forever until death,” but was just, “we’re both willing to do this.”
There was a bottom line to be observed in marriage, but dating was free.
He had never started anything with Chen Xiao, so there was nothing to end.
Therefore, he could start something with anyone at any time, it just happened that the other person was Chen Xiao’s little brother—After Mo Chen gave him advice, Liu Weizhe finally thought through this matter and had prepared himself to start something.
After all, ten or so years was really too long. He could wait that long, but Chen Wei might not be able to.

The group of people went onto the stage to receive the championship trophy and accepted the host’s interview. They then lingered for a while at the scene of the competition, before finally straightening themselves up and bottling their excitement, and went back to the hotel.
For the evening, they reserved a private room in a luxury hotel nearby and had a good meal.
Because no one was a big drinker, only a few bottles of beer were opened.
Chen Xiao helped everyone to pour the beer and placed the glasses filled with beer on the turntable one by one.
“Wen Xi, Wen Xi, come, come, come, have a drink!” Chen Wei knocked the bottom of his glass on the table and said, “Without you, there would be no CLM today!”
“You are exaggerating too much there…” Wen Xi didn’t know whether to laugh or cry, but still took a glass of beer from the turntable.
However, just when he was about to drink, Mo Chen’s hand covered his own and he gently snatched the glass away. “Beer isn’t good, you should go drink other things.”
Chen Wei rolled his eyes immediately and said, “It’s beer ah! You can’t even get drunk with this. Do you need to do that?”
Mo Chen just lightly glanced at him and said, “Who said my family’s darling would get drunk? He just doesn’t like drinking.”
Chen Wei was speechless.
He really didn’t know that, thank you.
He glanced at everyone else’s expressions, and saw that they were also indescribable. Mo Chen’s words of “my family’s darling” were really too lethal.
“Already starting to call him darling, yi…”
The room clearly had the heater on, but Ling Shuyi shivered and felt a chill.
Fortunately, he and the others did not focus on this episode.
After Mo Chen helped Wen Xi to switch to coconut milk, they all drank together, talked, and laughed, and the atmosphere was too good.
Wen Xi was more often than not listening to the others talk, but this didn’t prevent him from appreciating the room’s atmosphere.
It had to be said that this was the liveliest and happiest time that he had had eating with his teammates, and it made him feel like he was eating with his family.
Because it was completely dark outside after dinner, they didn’t rush back to the club, but stayed in the hotel for another night
Pretty much just after returning to the hotel, Chen Wei received a message from Liu Weizhe.
Liu Weizhe: Come to my room for a moment.
After seeing this message, he didn’t know whether it was due to the alcohol or for another reason, but Chen Wei’s heart beat quickly.
He pretty much scrambled to reply with an “okay.”
He didn’t know what Liu Weizhe wanted to say to him, but he had felt that Liu Weizhe’s attitude towards him had changed in recent days. That was, he no longer deliberately evaded him, and instead he even took the initiative to respond to his glances.
Therefore, Liu Weizhe should be looking for him because he wanted to talk to him about their relationship.
Otherwise, if it was about the competition, there was no need to talk to him alone.
In this way, Chen Wei rushed to the mirror to neaten up his hair and clothes. He took a deep breath, and only then did he muster up the courage to leave his room and walk to Liu Weizhe’s room.
He went to the door of Liu Weizhe’s room and knocked politely. After getting permission, he went in and closed the door behind him.
He looked for Liu Weizhe in the room, and saw him sitting gracefully on the edge of the bed. His back was straight, and his fingers were folded softly on top of his legs. He looked as though he was getting ready to talk to him about serious family matters.
Chen Wei saw that he was nervous, and couldn’t help laughing as he asked, “Can I find somewhere to sit down and talk to you?”
Liu Weizhe looked at him haughtily. “Yes.”
Chen Wei held back a smile and pulled over a chair to sit in front of him. After that, he continued to speak in a happy and unrestrained tone, “Talk ba, I’ll listen.”
Liu Weizhe gave an “en” and took some time to organize his words, before speaking slowly, “I have carefully thought over things these past few days, and I think I can try being with you. That is to say—I can accept your confession.”
Chen Wei’s eyes lit up in an instant after hearing his words. He opened his mouth, but realized that Liu Weizhe hadn’t finished speaking, so he quickly suppressed his excitement and continued to listen to him quietly.
After noticing these details, Liu Weizhe showed a satisfied expression and continued, “However, I have some requirements. You know I’m very picky. There are a lot of people who have confessed to me. You aren’t the first, and you won’t be the last, so why should I choose you?”
Chen Wei was stunned for a moment, but he was really baffled by this question—yes ah, why?
“It must be because you are special to me,” Liu Weizhe said, “But why are you so special?”
After a pause, without waiting for Chen Wei to reply, he continued, “I thought that it was because you were his little brother—because you are related to him by blood, so I had good feelings towards you. But later, I thought through things and understood, even if it really was that way, so what? I have good feelings towards you, and that’s enough.”
This was….a confession?
Chen Wei looked at Liu Weizhe in a daze, and unconsciously he sat up straighter.
Liu Weizhe’s words just now made his heart swoop up and down. One moment he was in heaven, and the next moment he had fallen to hell. He didn’t know what expression to make at this point.
With great effort, he managed to get his brain working again, and he tried to understand what Liu Weizhe meant.
Finally, he summoned up the courage to respond to him, “If you are worried that you will take me as my Ge’s stand in, then I want to say that I don’t care…”
“I care,” Liu Weizhe interrupted him instantly and said, “I have always cared. If I didn’t care about that, then I’m confident that I could use you as his substitute for the rest of our lives and make sure you would never realize it.”
Chen Wei froze, sad to find that this seemed to be a fact—Liu Weizhe really did have this ability.
However, before he could grow sad, Liu Weizhe said, “Therefore, I want you to know that the person I want to date is you, and not your Ge’s substitute, do you understand?”
Chen Wei: !!!
It was another surprise confession, and it directly yanked Chen Wei’s mood up into the clouds.
“But as you are right now, you can’t satisfy me,” Liu Weizhe said, “So, as I said, I have some requirements. I hope you can meet these requirements. In other words, I hope my other half can meet these requirements.”
“I see!” Hearing this, Chen Wei finally understood everything. Wasn’t it just that he wanted to assign several tasks to him. “Alright, do you want me to climb up a mountain of swords or traverse a sea of fire? As long as I am capable of it, I will try my best to satisfy you!”
The corner of Liu Weizhe’s mouth drew up and for a moment he felt like he was a slag man cheating to gain money and partners.
He was a little glad that Chen Wei, this silly dog, liked him, and not a real liar. Otherwise, he would help them count the money even as he was sold away….
Thinking like this, he had no choice but to laugh. Then he relaxed and clearly stated his requirements. “One, you must reply to the messages I send you. Even if you can’t reply immediately, you must reply as soon as you can. Otherwise, I will have no sense of security. Two, if I don’t know your itinerary, you must report to me and explain your reasons. Otherwise, if I find out later, it’ll be very easy for me to get suspicious. Again, as I said before, I’ll have no sense of security. Three, unless I allow you to, you can’t touch me or kiss me, because I still don’t know you well enough right now and can’t trust you completely. Who knows if you are just greedy for my body?”
He paused for a bit, before asking, “For the time being, can you meet these three requirements?”
“Yes!” Chen Wei didn’t even think before agreeing. Not only did he feel that Liu Weizhe’s requirements were not too much, but he even felt that his sentence, “I’ll have no sense of security,” stabbed into his heart.
He didn’t know what Liu Weizhe had experienced before, but it wasn’t difficult to guess—a boy with a soft and graceful appearance and poor family background would never experience smooth sailing.
The reason why Chen Wei liked Liu Weizhe was that he couldn’t restrain his desire to protect him and wanted to protect, love, and dote on him all his life.
So, let alone reporting his own itinerary to Liu Weizhe, he hated that he couldn’t guard over him by his side, not moving a step away from him.
“I’ll completely listen to you!” Chen Wei suddenly got up and approached Liu Weizhe. He made a gesture as if he was about to kiss him, which startled Liu Weizhe into immediately leaning back. His balance was thrown off, and he fell onto the bed.
Then Chen Wei bent down by his ear, lowered his voice, and said while smiling, “Don’t worry, I definitely won’t touch you without your permission—I remember everything.”
After that, he stood up and showed an innocent and brilliant smile to Liu Weizhe. “Have a good rest, and call me if you need something. Like I said—I’ll come whenever you call~”
Liu Weizhe: “….”
He had wanted to domesticate a husky, but suddenly he felt like a sheep that had stepped into the tiger’s mouth. What was up with that?

The author has something to say:
The side CP has come to an end. If I wrote anymore, it’d count as extras orz
—
Juurensha: Not a bad conclusion for the two of them! Not a huge fan of LWZ’s itinerary requirement, but I guess at least he straight up says he’s insecure about things.
kat: Yeah, Liu Weizhe seems a little controlling, but I think Chen Wei is a good match for him! The way he teased him at the end was so cute haha
