Therefore, on the National Day of 2014, during the short seven-day holiday, Fei and I were in Hangzhou and Wuhan, separated by two computers, and started working as hard as we could without rest. Every day we went online to say good morning to each other, and then we worked relatively hard across the Internet, typing noisily, and often even eating our meals in front of the computer. Every night, exhausted, we had to compare the results first, to see who wrote more, say good night to each other, and then go to bed… Just like that, in 7 days, we wrote nearly 60,000 characters in one go (compared to “Forget Chuan”, which was only written in 1 year, I had such an explosive speed that I can be declared as the great god of the Internet typing).

After that, I wrote more than two hundred thousand words in one go, and quickly finished the text before 2015, thinking that I would be able to complete the story in a few months. The mother nature showed her teeth, and I immediately lost the control of myself, I got set-up on a frenzied plot, and immediately forced all the characters in my pen into desperation (in order to avoid spoilers, I won’t go into details here. At that time, even the editor Xiaoxie, who had read countless manuscripts before, exclaimed after reading the first volume:

“Oh my God, how can you do it from here, after you write it like this?”

I snorted:

“What are you afraid of? This plot can absorb and can release; it can torture and can be sweet.” Since I can write a wide-open sentence such as “lilac knotted hibiscus sash”, you can get it back with the expression “No strings of pearls attached to a treasure sword”.

As a result, when I really went to write the volume, I found that I was indeed too bold… When the plot forwarding pushed all the characters to a desperate situation, the scrolling down was really difficult to write and sort out. It was almost an inch-by-inch advancing with painstaking effort.

In addition, the middle of the plot writing became boring, and I couldn’t help but run away and I started digging a new hole in the novel “Empty City” (completed), so now, it has been written for more than a year, and the second volume has not been finished yet. (covers the face in shame).
