Chapter 24

After the deafening explosion that echoed throughout the city, the door to room 1401 slowly opened. A man and a woman, acting furtively, stepped out. The woman had a sharp and cruel appearance, while the man looked lecherous and cunning.

"Go! Hurry up!"

The sharp woman glanced at the empty elevator corridor and, pulling the lecherous man behind her, urged him on in a hurried voice.

The lecherous man nodded and quickly walked to the elevator, a sinister smile appearing on his face as he saw the elevator indicator showing the 11th floor.

"Damn it! You little brat! Since you've gone so far as to steal our food and leave us no way to live, I'll make you die in the mouths of those monsters!"

With that thought, the lecherous man pressed the elevator button. Soon, the elevator ascended to the 14th floor and slowly opened with a ding.

"Hmph!"

The lecherous man snorted coldly, entered the elevator, pressed the button for the 1st floor, and quickly stepped out.

"Hehehe... Let all the monsters on the 1st floor come in. A full elevator of monsters, I'll see how you die!"

Chen Fei and Nangong Jin arrived at the elevator and pressed the button. Chen Fei's brows were furrowed, as he was uncertain about the situation in the basement and whether they would be surrounded by zombies as soon as they went down.

"Xiao Fei! Why is the elevator on the 1st floor?"

Nangong Jin, glancing habitually, noticed that the elevator was slowly ascending from the 1st floor and quickly pulled Chen Fei's arm to ask.
