The Discharged Junior Item Crafter Finds His Place

Initially released as a web novel, now also available as a book (Volume 1 released July 1st, 2023) and a manga adaptation! Please note that the web and book versions have different content. The web novel updates are currently on hiatus. Gaius, a junior Item Crafter in the party 'Crescent Claw,' is let go under the pretense of being unable to protect higher-ranking members in battle (the real reason? He was uncomfortable being the only single person in a party of two couples). He receives a severance package and sets off to find a wife and a job suitable for an S-rank adventurer in the countryside. However, following his departure, 'Crescent Claw' falls from grace, becoming the town's most disliked group. While exploring a beginner's forest near the capital, Gaius gets involved in various troubles, and his unique skills as a junior Item Crafter inadvertently help 'Crescent Claw' recover. His reputation rises, and the story follows Gaius and 'Crescent Claw's' intertwined fates. This is a coming-of-age fantasy with multiple perspectives. (Note: The narrative shifts between third-person and first-person perspectives; please bear with the occasional confusion).
