3 - The Short Story That Was Promised.

Gu Hao’s body was in good condition, but since it was the first time, and there was no control on both parties, he still got a little hurt.

Su Yimin let Gu Hao rest in his house for a few days, using his position as the school doctor to prescribe a medical certificate for the other under a random reason.

After that, the two of them officially started dating.

In the morning, Su Yimin would be going on dates with Gu Hao, at night, having sex with him. Sometimes, this school doctor would even use his place of work to make out with Gu Hao in the school infirmary.

Perhaps Gu Hao was always this way, acting differently between morning and the night. In the morning, a soft kiss would make him tense up, embarrassed, just like in the past. At night, however, he would be so eager, it was like he was two different people.

But regardless of whether it was day or night, there was something that remained the same. Whenever he hugged Gu Hao, Gu Hao would tightly hug him back, trying to bring every inch of his body as close to the other as possible.

He knew this was one of Gu Hao’s quirks.

It was also how Su Yimin and Gu Hao crossed paths.

One night, after work, Su Yimin was prepared to go home, when he coincidentally saw Gu Hao.

The tall man was squatting at a bush, to the surprise of the other, and nuzzling a stray cat.

The frightened stray clawed at him, drawing blood.

Gu Hao let go of the cat and watched as it ran away, shocked. He noticed Su Yimin’s presence soon after that, making his silhouette tense up in the dark.

Su Yimin didn’t ask too much and kindly said, “Your face is bleeding, that was a stray and wasn’t vaccinated, please come with me to the infirmary.”

Gu Hao hesitated for a minute, but still followed Su Yimin to the infirmary.

Under the light, Su Yimin applied medicine to the wound under Gu Hao’s eyes.

Gu Hao had an angular side view with a stern-looking jaw, he looked intimidating, but now, it had a hint of red that was usually not present, making him seem less unapproachable.

Is he drunk? No wonder then, He’s not typically like this… Su Yimin chuckled.

Before this, Gu Hao had been to the infirmary after his fights, the guy who took off his uniform to reveal a sexy but scarred body was unforgettable to Su Yimin.

“You like cats a lot? Why not get one?”

“Don’t… don’t like them so much.” Gu Hao drunkenly replied, hugging him involuntarily, nuzzling the other. “I just, like this. It feels bad if I don’t do this for a day.”

Would this be considered touch starvation?

Su Yimin realised. It was hard to believe, this sort of antisocial person would have this childlike quirk.

Su Yimin looked at Gu Hao who was hugging him.

Gu Hao’s head was lowered, and one could see his drunken blush from his neck to his ears, at the place that his dark stubble grew, on the back of his head. It was very tempting.

Su Yimin gulped, not planning to play with this straight man’s first love, he pulled away with difficulty and pretended to put the medicine back on the shelf.

“Why not try and raise a cat or a dog? It’ll be better if you have a girlfriend.”

“You can’t raise one in the dorms. At home, my dad and mom argue to no end, and they get annoyed at anything and everything, it was good enough that they were able to raise me, let alone a pet? As for a girlfriend?” Gu Hao burped and scoffed. “A grown man, like this, it’s perverted, it’s disgusting, isn’t it?”

“No.” Su Yimin said, pausing for a minute, before succumbing to the urge to stroke the stubble at the back of his head, it was faint but also prickly.

“You are great.”

Gu Hao looked at the older man clad in white with a warm and attractive smile on his face, his eyes, filled with drunkenness also carried a hint of redness.

“I have a golden retriever at home, he’s gentle and friendly, the type who’ll be okay no matter how you hug him. I’ll bring him out to give you some company from time to time” Su Yimin said softly, after seeing the other’s hesitation, he added, “Don’t worry, I’ll help you keep this secret.”

“…….” Gu Hao looked at him and paused for a long time, before replying in an incredibly soft voice “Thank you.”
