Chapter 3 - The Past (Part 2)

The real reason to which the duo owed their being together to was not a happy one, so for a long time after that, the two of them were quite indifferent to each other. Su Yuan played the part of the demanding partner and commanded Ning Jun to accompany him every day.

This lasted until the time came to fill out the registration form for their National College Entrance Examination (‘Gaokao’) in the upcoming semester.

Su Yuan wanted Ning Jun to put down universities in the capital, but he had originally thought that Ning Jun might be unwilling to do so. Surprisingly, without a single objection, Ning Jun filled the form out in exactly the same way that Su Yuan had.

This was definitely a shocker for Su Yuan and somewhat rekindled his passion. He had thought that Ning Jun was destined to be an icy glacier he could never melt, but now it seemed like Ning Jun was not as impenetrable as he seemed, and he was filled with the urge to try again. However, before Su Yuan could make a move, someone from his group of shady friends surprised them all.

It had barely been two days after the end of their National College Entrance Examination, and both Su Yuan and Ning Jun were out to attend a friend’s birthday gathering. While they were eating at the hotel, someone placed something into Ning Jun’s cup, and in a funny twist of fate, Su Yuan ended up drinking it. It was only when Su Yuan went to the restroom that he noticed something was wrong.

His entire body felt like it was burning inside out. He splashed some cold water onto his face, hoping to ease the feeling. His hands gripped the sides of the basin as he stared at his reflection, the mirror-him was a blushing mess, and his eyes seemed exceptionally seductive, the sight of which caused him to curse under his breath.

There was no time for him to return home, luckily there were a few rooms upstairs that had been booked for the purpose of letting everyone have a place to rest if they were drunk, and now he would have to make use of them to deal with this emergency.

Su Yuan gritted his teeth as he made his way back to the rest of the party, he excused himself saying he had a headache, and luckily his friends did not seem to notice anything wrong with him. Suddenly, someone teased, “Brother Su, there’s a surprise for you upstairs! Quick, go and take a look!”

Su Yuan was shocked, and in his confusion, a room card key was shoved into his hand. He glanced around and immediately noticed that Ning Jun was missing. Rushing upstairs, he unlocked the room and as he turned on the lights, his eyes caught sight of Ning Jun.

He was lying on the bed.

Actually, he was tied up on the bed.

Ning Jun’s face was black, and when he caught sight of Su Yuan, he scoffed saying, “Su Yuan, you’ve gotten braver huh? You even dare to use such underhanded tactics on me?”

Su Yuan was slouched with his back against the door, the drug’s effects were completely overwhelming him now, and he felt quite light-headed. He did not dare to approach Ning Jun, all he could do was mumble out an explanation, “I… It wasn’t me…I had no idea…”

Only now did Ning Jun notice that there was something wrong with Su Yuan, and his brow furrowed as he called out to him, “Su Yuan, come over here and untie me.”

Su Yuan felt that his entire body was aching, and he banged his head against the door twice before stumbling toward the bed. With the room spinning around him, he fumbled about with the rope, successfully untying the knot and freeing Ning Jun’s legs. Then he sat with both legs apart on Ning Jun’s waist, his hands shaking as he tried to untie the knot above Ning Jun’s left wrist.

The red blush had traveled from Su Yuan’s face to his neck, and his eyes were dilated and watery, just one look into them and anyone would be seduced. Without warning, he suddenly fell forward onto Ning Jun, bathing his ear in warm breaths of air.

Ning Jun’s eyes seemed to bore into him, and his gaze was like that of a ravenous wolf, ready to tear into an unsuspecting human.

Halfway through untying the knot, Su Yuan seemed to give up, and he nudged against Ning Jun’s face. Tears threatened to spill out of his eyes, and the blush on his face grew stronger as he softly whined, “Ning Jun, it’s uncomfortable.”

Ning Jun’s breathing suddenly got much heavier, but Su Yuan was completely unaware of this. Still in the same position as before, he squirmed about, rolling his hips before using his hot and flushed face to nuzzle into Ning Jun’s neck and chest. He placed random kisses all over Ning Jun’s chin and Adam’s apple, his tone becoming increasingly like a moan as he called out, “Ning Jun… Ning Jun… Ning Jun…”

OMGGGG *blush intensifies*

Ning Jun took in a deep breath, and his next words seemed unusually breathless, “Untie the rope.”

In his stupor, Su Yuan had a gut feeling that Ning Jun wanted to escape, and he instinctively shook his head, “I won’t.” Then he proceeded to take off Ning Jun’s clothes, but he soon realized that it was impossible to fully take off Ning Jun’s shirt, and this seemed to frustrate him to the point of tears, causing him to once again call out that name, “Ning Jun…”

By now, Ning Jun’s eyes were bloodshot, yet he still softened his voice as he tried to coax Su Yuan, saying “If you untie this rope for me, I won’t leave.”

I’ll untie the rope for you

Alas, poor Su Yuan had no idea that this was actually an indication of a beast circling its prey, and he completely failed to notice the imminent danger. After a moment’s hesitation, he very obediently untied the rope.

The second Ning Jun’s hand was freed, he soon had Su Yuan underneath him as he panted heavily. He was quick to strip Su Yuan of his clothes, and reaching into the bedside closet, he took out what he needed.

When Su Yuan woke up, Ning Jun was nowhere to be seen.

Su Yuan just sat there, befuddled. He could hardly remember anything from last night, all he had was this hazy memory of him crying as he clung onto Ning Jun.

He pulled the covers aside and as his legs touched the ground, an involuntary hiss escaped him. This reaction was not only because of the aching pain in one of his more ‘private’ areas, it was also because this motion of standing up had caused a large amount of sticky liquid to gush down his thighs.

WAHAHAHHAHHAHHA OMG WAHAHHAHA

Su Yuan’s face burned red with embarrassment when suddenly a ‘bang’ sounded from behind him. Looking back, he saw Ning Jun forcefully put down a cup of water before turning away to exit the room.

“Ning Jun!”

When he opened his mouth, Su Yuan was quite shocked, why was his voice so croaky?

Ning Jun stopped where he was but did not turn around.

Su Yuan stared at his back, and for a moment, he had no idea what to say. After some thought, he cleared his throat as he tried to explain last night’s events, “I wasn’t the one who put the thing in the cup, and tying you up… I had no idea that would happen. You…”

Before he could finish, Ning Jun seemed to lose patience with him, and with a determined step, he was soon out the door.

This left poor Su Yuan dumbstruck.

Truthfully speaking, he also did have some responsibility over what had happened, but he had not expected that Ning Jun would not even care to listen to his explanation.

Sure enough, feelings really were not something that could be fulfilled through extortion.

Su Yuan placed a hand to his waist as he gingerly sat down on the edge of the bed for a short rest. Then, he dragged his weary body into the shower for a wash.

After this happened, and Su Yuan had cooled down over two days, he realized that this was a golden opportunity.

He rang up Ning Jun’s number, and without giving him a chance to speak, he immediately said, “You have to take responsibility for that night, so come and live with me.”

Wait… We were all there that night too…

He did not wait for Ning Jun’s answer and immediately hung up. His head was soon buried in his own pillow, he feared the thought of Ning Jun not listening to him, but at the same time, he felt guilty about forcing him.

He really was getting too demanding with Ning Jun, he knew that Ning Jun did not like him, but still he forced Ning Jun to be with him. Even though he was the one who had taken a drink of something and subsequently slept with Ning Jun, now he was trying to pretend that Ning Jun was the one responsible for that, and thus he was also forcing Ning Jun to stay with him.

Su Yuan bit his lower lip as he buried his head deeper into the pillow, he tried to convince himself, “Maybe as time goes by, Ning Jun will grow to like me.”

The next day, Su Yuan purchased an apartment near the university they had enrolled at. He planned to stay there with Ning Jun.

Su Yuan’s father had long been privy to the state of things between the two of them, and upon hearing that Su Yuan was moving out, all he did was pat Su Yuan on the head as he gently said, “If you have any trouble, just tell me, okay? Dad will help you deal with it.”

Su Yuan meekly nodded his head.

Su Yuan’s mother had died a long time ago when Su Yuan was still a young child. Su Yuan was the only child in the family, and his father had been through many trials and tribulations during these past years. Even though he was exceptionally busy, he had always been very loving and supportive of this only son of his, and if Su Yuan had any requests, his father would hardly say no to him. This was also one of the reasons why Su Yuan dared to threaten Ning Jun.
