Silver Moon clan, promiscuity, mistress, red-light district…
These words, Yu Lan did not understand what they meant.
But he could sense that these were not good words.
It took a moment before he took a deep breath, moved his index finger and clicked on the entries.
For a full hour, Yu Lan’s heart gradually sank, sinking into the icy water, and his expression gradually grew stagnant.
The Silver Moon clan was rescued thirty years ago from the interstellar wars by the military and brought back to the Federation. They were a new race, and like every new race in the past that intended to integrate into Federation society, they faced many problems.
Language, culture, technology, etc, etc, they needed a long process of adaptation and it would’ve taken a year or two or maybe five years or ten years. By integrating successfully, they would have a more exciting and convenient life than ever before and face a future full of possibilities.
And the integration failed-
No one could’ve anticipated what happened to the entire race when integration failed.
Because the situations they encountered were different.
And when it came to the Silver Moon clan, it was as if everything had stepped from one muddy swamp into another.
They had been reduced to playthings.
It may not be accurate to say so, but today, 80% of the figures in the red-light district were from the Silver Moon clan.
All of them were omegas with great looks, and they chose to use their bodies when they couldn’t integrate into society and survive on their own.
The lowest class ones mixed in with the red-light district, the higher class ones became someone else’s mistress, and some mixed in with the entertainment industry, clinging onto the powerful. But for the latter ones, the outside world still mocked them- after all, they were all things that couldn’t make it to the top and no matter how far they climbed up the ladder, the Silver Moon clan could only hover on the outskirts of true high society, becoming the talk of the town after dinner.
It wasn’t that there were none from Silver Moon clan trying to survive by their own hard work, it was just that their fellow clan members had fallen more quickly than they could have imagined, and as they stood apprehensively in the crowd tide, trying to introduce themselves to the outside world and show off their abilities, the outside world had looked at them with scorn.
-They’ve already been labelled.
Many people almost equate the words “Silver Moon clan” with “filthy”.
Most of the clan members who were trying to live honestly to get by were only struggling at the bottom of society, and even if they could afford it, they would not be able to step to the top because of the labels they carry.
Unhappy and disappointed.
Self-loathing and degradation.
There was also anger and indifference towards the same clan members.
The shame, the struggle, the ridicule, the tears.
These were all blended together into a single word and it became unexplainable.
Yu Lan was dazed for a while, but finally, the mouse moved and he accidentally clicked on a graphic information piece.
His pupils constricted sharply.
Written inside was about the chaos in the red-light district.
The tactic of attracting customers by abusing inhibitors as a way of speeding up their estrus has long been used in the red-light district, however over the years, some of the red-light districts stopped using the practice long ago to protect their bodies. Only the Silver Moon clan members continue to do so.
Looking at the pictures on the webpage, the flushed, eager, and full of excited faces of several clan members in estrus, some images suddenly flashed through Yu Lan’s mind.
In the dark light, outside the cage, the trafficker couple’s fat beta son crouched on the floor, his small eyes staring straight at them. He watched them for a while before wiping off his drool and tossing them the inhibitor.
The syringe of the inhibitor was stained with the sweat of his palms.
Yu Lan suddenly closed the computer, his stomach churning.
The kind of thing done to him by the traffickers… there were actually so many Silver Moon Clan members who voluntarily did it?
Yu Lan pushed the computer aside, propped both his hands on the bed, closed eyes, took deep breaths and exhaled. His teeth clenched tightly, his mind still vaguely remembered some of the netizens comments on the webpage just now.
“My Lord, I didn’t even get nauseous watch the videos, but I got nauseous looking at these pictures.”
“Physiological discomfort _(:з)∠)_”
“The Silver Moon clan should love themselves a bit more!”
“You can’t just say it like that. There are Silver Moon clan members who work very hard, but there’s not just one rat turd in their race, there’s a whole lot of them.”
“The Silver Moon clan members in estrus are really gross. I’m a little nauseous.”
“The nature of the Silver Moon clan is being promiscuous.”
