Yu Lan covered his mouth, sweat running down his forehead.
He suddenly recalled the way the bakery owner checked him out, the way the clerks snickered when they learned he was from the Silver Moon clan.
He remembered what Jian Ling had said just before he got into the aircraft and the look in his eyes.
Yu Lan never thought that the truth about the Silver Moon clan would be like this.
It was like being hit by a huge wave head-on. Yu Lan’s world was somewhat overturned, his ears were filled with the sounds of “swishing”, which messed up his thoughts.
It took a while for him to try to push down the unpleasant sensations in his body, but then his eyes became a little blank.
Yu Lan didn’t know how to react.
He didn’t know what to think nor what to do.
He knew that those Silver Moon clan members had nothing to do with him, but everything that was supposed to have nothing to do with him had already infiltrated his life little by little.
Eventually, his brain became empty.
In the middle of the night, the pheromones which had been at peace for some time were making trouble again.
Yu Lan opened his eyes, a hint of fatigue revealed in his clear eyes.
After staying in bed for a while, he got out of bed slightly weakly and held onto the wall to open the door.
At the end of the corridor was Mr Shao’s room.
It hadn’t been a month since his last inhibitor injection. He should’ve asked Mr Shao to help make a temporary mark, but Yu Lan looked at the door of that room for a moment and all that flashed through his mind were the images from that website.
He wondered what kind of expression he had now, whether it would be as distorted as those Silver Moon clan members in the picture, yet after just imagining it, another wave of nausea came over him.
He was resisting internally.
After a moment, he turned around and slowly walked down the stairs holding onto the wall.
It was in the middle of the night, with no one else in the villa. Pheromones drifted and scattered through the windows.
Yu Lan panted while sweating, and braced himself into the living room, where he rummaged through the medical kit in the corner, shivering, and found a suppressant in it, gritted his teeth and injected it in.
The fluid flowed into the blood vessels and the agitation in his body subsided within two or three seconds.
But Yu Lan looked at the needle for a moment, then clutched it and threw it to the ground.
After he threw it, he curled up, hugged his knees, and buried his head.
What do I do.
What do I do with this damn estrus.

The next day, Yu Lan went downstairs and when Shao Mingyu met him at the dining table, he put down the newspaper and asked, “Did you not sleep well last night?”
Yu Lan was startled. The man leaned back into the back of his chair and said, eyeing him, “Your face looks really bad.”
Yu Lan pursed his lips, touched the back of his neck and whispered, “En, I stayed up a bit reading.”
If Mr Shao knew that he was secretly using inhibitors against his doctor’s orders, Mr Shao would be furious.
Yu Lan brought the used needles back to his room last night, intending to throw them away on his way out today.
As for the medical kit, Aunty Jiang and the others usually wouldn’t open it, so no one should find one missing inside for the time being.
Just how long could he hide it… After all, now all the manor’s inhibitors were specially prepared by doctors for Yu Lan, which wasn’t the same as the general ones outside. Yu Lan couldn’t even secretly buy a back to refill it.Thinking about it, Yu Lan got a little anxious and scratched the back of his neck again.
He didn’t know why, but when he woke up in the morning, the back of neck itched a bit.
