8 - Meeting Up With Everyone

I wake up and our eyes meet at the same time.

「Onie-chan, good morning〜」

「Un, welcome back, Aya.」

It seems that she has been home for some time.

I take off my headgear and put it on the bed.

「You’ve started Another too, haven’t you?」

「That means you too?」

「Yes! With my friend.」

It seems that Aya also got it from a friend. As for Taku, I’m sure it wasn’t cheap.

When I checked my cell phone, I found a text message from Taku.

The meeting place had been decided. We are going to meet in front of the fountain in the west part of town.

「I’ll meet up with Taku and the others later, are you coming?」

「Yes! I’ll go with you guys!」

I invited Aya to join me, and she instantly nodded with a happy smile.

I finished dinner with Aya, took a bath because I was going to do it until I fell asleep anyway, brushed my teeth, finished my stretching before bed, and got ready to play the game.

I checked my watch, and it looked like I would be able to make it in time for the meeting. After all, I have a map.

As I looked around, I met the eyes with the purple crystal amethyst-eyed cat.

「Are you awake, nya?」

The black cat peered into my eyes with concern.

Apparently, even if you log out, your body remains, which means I can’t log out without a second thought.

Then, out of nowhere, the cat took out an apple-like object. It was small compared to an apple.

「Don’t be shy nya, you can call me, Reinya」

Apparently, the cat’s name was Reinya, probably Reina.

Thinking about it, I haven’t even told the old man my name.

「Oh, by the way, I never told you my name, my name is Yuki, nice to meet you Reinya.」

「Yuki-nya nya? I learned it nya, my name is Reinya-nya.」

「Reinya-nya?」

「Rei-nya, nya…」

She started to get depressed, so I stopped playing with her.

「Yes, Reina, nice to meet you.」

「Nya! Nice to meet you too!」

Reina happily grasped my hands with both of hers, her paw pads felt good.

「I’ll take it then, Reinya.」

「Go ahead nya…..nya?」

I took a bite of the apple while Reina tilted her head.

「I remembered that Shisho said that when Malevito sleeps, he sleeps for days」

「I see.」

「I was worried about you nya.」

「…I see」

「I, it’s a lie nya, I was very worried nya.」

「I see.」

I’m still feeling hungry, so I appraise myself to make sure.

Yuki LV1 Status: Hungry

Looking at my status, I noticed that the yellow bar was less than 30% which meant that I was hungry.

「Reinya, do you have three more?」

「You’re calling me ‘Reinya’ again!」

「I didn’t.」

「Nya!?」

Her black and white eyes looked at me as she said “I misheard it nya!?”.

She also gave me three petit arles fruits, saying, “My little sister and disciple is a real handful nya.”

No matter how small I am, I’m still three times the size of Reina, so even this doesn’t fill my hunger level to the fullest.

「Reina, I have plans with my friends, do you want to come?」

She seemed to be thinking about it for a while but in the end…

「I’m not busy, so I’m coming nya!」

She said and took off her robe.

「Can you give me three more?」

「It’s no use nya.」

The hunger level restored by the bite-sized Arles was about 10%, and I was still not full.

I opened the map and looked for the meeting place. The library was located in the southwest corner of the city. From there, we followed the road and went north on the main street to the fountain square.

I had found my destination and all I had to do was keep going. I picked up Reina and started walking down the darkened street.

「How long can Reina stay with us?」

I asked her casually, and for some reason, she answered in a quiet voice.

「I’m not worried about the time nya, so I can stay up all night nya. And I can’t talk nya.」

「Why is that again?」

「If they know I’m intelligent, they’ll limit my activities nya.」

Well, I guess you’re right. What a cat? That’s why it’s so easy to do.

「That’s rational.」

「Yeah nya.」

「You meowed when you stepped on me.」

「Y, yes, nya.」

We arrived at the square, teasing Reina a bit. I looked around and saw that Taku and my other friends were already waiting for us. Aya was also there.

Apparently, they hadn’t changed their appearance.

Taku had black hair and black eyes, Yumi had brown hair and brown eyes, and Chisato had black hair and black eyes.

My little sister Aya has red hair and red eyes.

Aya’s best friend, Miyu Rindou, is Yumi’s sister, with short blue hair and light blue eyes. Unlike the calm Yumi, she looks solid and is actually a solid person.

Next to her, there is Yamato Nadeshiko who stands tall and straight. She is Yuri Koyanagi.

Her hair is as long as it is in real life, down to her waist, and she has black hair and black eyes.

The two girls next to her are the Sakuraba sisters. They are Kagamihana and Tachibana, respectively. They are twins, of course.

The one on the right side is Kagamika and on the left side is Rikka.

…I was thinking if I set my hair up in the form of a knot first, wouldn’t that mean I’d get a hair clip? It was a cheap idea, but I should have tied my hair up.

「Hey, did I keep you waiting?」

I was the last one to arrive.

「Oh, Yuki, you’re right on time, aren’t you?」

「Onie-chan is so cute! You’re onee-chan now!」

Everyone is kind enough to forgive me if I’m a little late.

…I wasn’t late though.

「Have you all added as friends yet?」

I check. It seems that the process is finished.

「I’ll hand out these to everyone then.」

I took out a skill crystal from my inventory.

「Hold this and think about using it.」

「What’s this…?」

「Maa, maa, it’s okay.」

I give it to Taku.

「O, oo! This is…!」

I hand out the skill crystals to everyone. Yes, this appraisal, map, inventory, is an ability that I can only assume is essential, but it doesn’t show up in the skill acquisition.

I walked to the west gate to go outside.

As I was walking down the street to the outside, Senri, aka Chisato Senri, spoke to me.

「What is it?」

Senri’s eyes are on the Reina I’m holding, and I can’t blame her for being curious, since she actually likes cute things.

「Ah, that’s…. what’s the thing you’re holding in your arms?」

「Do you want to touch it?」

So I took Reina’s arm and held out a paw.

「Nya!?」

Reina is surprised by the suddenness of the situation.

「Y, you don’t mind!?」

「Yeah, go ahead.」

「Nya, nya!?」
