Finally, Angel brought three dolls and a bicycle, and happily arrived at the ranch.

Qin Yi arranged for them to stay in the main house, which had over twenty rooms and was usually empty. With a little girl running around, it would surely be much livelier!

However, Qin Yi was really upset with his brother-in-law, Yang Bin. He was always messing around, not doing anything serious, and dreaming of making a fortune in business. Just as he took a sip, Angel ran down the stairs with her mother, giggling all the way. Seeing Qin Yi on the sofa, she ran over with open arms. Qin Yi put down his coffee, picked her up, and swung her in the air, making her laugh and her face turn rosy.

Sitting in Qin Yi's lap, Angel looked up at him expectantly, "Uncle Yi, can I have spring rolls and duck soup for dinner?"

Susa smiled and sat nearby, watching quietly.

"Of course, you can have spring rolls and duck soup. Whatever you want!"

Angel kissed Qin Yi happily, thinking about the spring rolls and soup, smacking her lips. Then she saw the apple house and jumped down from Qin Yi's lap, running over to peek inside. Her big eyes widened as she stared at the lazy rabbit.

The lazy rabbit was sleeping, completely unaware that it was being watched!

Qin Yi watched Angel but didn't interfere. The rabbit was smart and gentle, and he trusted Angel not to mistreat it. However, Susa was a bit nervous, being her first time at Qin Yi's house. She was worried that the animals might not be familiar with Angel and might scratch or bite her.

"Angel, you can say hello, but don't touch it unless it wants to be friends with you."

Qin Yi smiled at Susa's concern but didn't say anything. She would soon realize how smart the rabbit was.

"I know, Mom. I'll be friends with it!" She then remembered that the rabbit belonged to Uncle Yi and hadn't asked for his permission. Turning to Qin Yi, she looked at him hopefully, "Uncle Yi, can I play with the little rabbit? We'll get along well!"

Growing up with little attention, having not seen her father since she was one, and living on a farm with few people around, Angel had no friends and had developed a shy and introverted personality. Only animals kept her company, so she loved them.

"Of course, Angel will be good friends with Lazy!" Qin Yi nodded, "By the way, Lazy is the rabbit's name. It loves big apples. Can you get one from the fridge for it? It will be very grateful!"

"Really? I love big apples too. Looks like we have something in common!" Angel was delighted, stood up, and nodded, mimicking an adult's tone before eagerly running to the fridge to find an apple.

Qin Yi found it amusing and turned to Susa, "Don't worry, Susa. Lazy is very smart and gentle. It won't hurt Angel."

After healing her broken bone and improving her constitution, Qin Yi had become a mysterious figure in Susa's eyes. Hearing his words, she was no longer worried and watched Angel happily as she gave the big apple to Lazy.

Sure enough, Lazy, who loved apples, woke up at the smell. It lifted its head, sniffed, and its cute appearance made Angel giggle.

"Lazy, can we be friends? I'll give you a big apple!" Angel placed the apple in front of Lazy's nose and spoke softly, looking at its reaction expectantly.

Lazy finally woke up, opened its eyes, and looked at the little girl it had never seen before. It turned its head to look at Qin Yi, pointed at Angel with a paw, and chirped, as if asking who the little girl was!

"This is Angel, and this is Susa. They are our good friends. You should get along well with them, okay!" Qin Yi pointed to Angel and Susa and introduced them to Lazy.

Lazy chirped a few times at them, then looked at the big apple in Angel's hand. Angel was amazed and covered her mouth, looking at the smart rabbit with delight.

Seeing Lazy point at the apple and chirp, Angel quickly handed it over, "Lazy, this apple is for you. We'll be friends from now on, okay?" She looked at Lazy expectantly.

Lazy hugged the apple and started munching, chirping casually, but Angel's face turned rosy with joy!

Susa was amazed by Lazy's human-like behavior but, remembering that it belonged to the mysterious Uncle Yi, gradually calmed down. She watched Angel happily and occasionally glanced at Qin Yi.

Seeing Lazy enjoy the apple, Angel also wanted one, "Uncle Yi, can I have a big apple too?"

"Of course, Angel. You can have one whenever you want. You don't need to ask; I already agreed."

The little girl cheered, thanked him, and ran to the fridge to get an apple, then returned to sit with Lazy and munch together!

It was only 3 PM, and they needed something to do. After thinking for a while, he remembered the delicious small fish and shrimp from his childhood and decided to take Angel to the small lake to catch some!

Just as Lazy finished playing and went back to sleep, Qin Yi told Angel about the delicious fried fish he would make for dinner, describing it in great detail. The little girl, now craving, stopped playing with Lazy and pulled Qin Yi to go!
