"Mom, Uncle Yi," Angel sat on the alpaca's back, swinging her little legs. Before she even got close, she waved her small hands and shouted, her face beaming with joy, showing everyone her happiness.

"Mom, Uncle Yi, can I have an alpaca? Can I?" The little girl looked at Qin Yi and Susa with a pleading expression.

"Angel, you already have Little Flower. You can't be too greedy, or no one will like Angel anymore!" Susa immediately refused. She didn't want to indulge the child in everything.

Hearing this, Angel pouted, but the little girl was always well-behaved and didn't insist any further.

Qin Yi, seeing her pitiful little face, chuckled and ruffled her hair, trying to persuade Susa, "It's fine, Susa. If Angel wants one, let her have it. It will be good to have a companion on the ranch."

Susa opened her mouth, intending to say that there were already many playmates on the ranch—Maji Teddy, Lai Pi, Eagle One, Eagle Two, Little Wheat, and Little Black, and they had just bought Little Flower. However, seeing how good Qin Yi was to Angel, she didn't say anything more.

Only Liu Qimeng looked at the alpacas and then at Qin Yi and the others, her face showing a strange expression.

In the end, Qin Yi and the others bought 20 dairy cows and three alpacas, one male and two females. Walker drove the cattle truck to help transport them back to the ranch.

Of course, they didn't forget Little Flower, which Angel had been thinking about all along!

They drove to the small farm first, placing 15 dairy cows in the cowshed and instructing the cowboys to take care of them. Then they drove back to the ranch, placing the remaining cows and alpacas in the stable. The stable was quite empty, and the current horses only occupied half of it.

As expected, Maji scared Walker again, and there was another round of introductions and reassurances. Becky, who had never seen Maji's fierce side, was small and didn't understand much, so she wasn't worried and played happily with Angel.

After everything was settled, Susa and Liu Qimeng went upstairs, while Angel played with Becky on the lawn with a group of small animals. Qin Yi invited everyone to sit in the living room.

After drinking a cup of coffee and chatting for a while, Walker said he needed to go back. The farm was run by him and his wife, and they usually didn't hire help, so it was quite busy.

Qin Yi asked him to wait a moment and went to the wine cellar to bring back a barrel of fruit wine. "Walker, this fruit wine is pretty good. Take it with you."

Before Walker could speak, Ryan immediately smiled and introduced, "Walker, Yi's wine is not something just anyone can drink. This wine, once you taste it, you'll never forget it!"

Hobbs also chimed in. He had been drinking a lot of fruit wine from Ryan lately, and after a day's work, having a glass at home was truly wonderful!

Seeing everyone say this, Walker became interested and took the barrel of wine with a smile, "I'll take it and try it. If you all say it's so good, it must be rare and delicious!"

"Even God loves this wine!"

"Ha ha!"

...

Just as they were about to leave, Becky didn't want to go back. It was so much fun here, with Angel to play with and so many cute little animals. She was having a great time and didn't want to leave. Moreover, Angel had invited her to stay as if she were a grown-up.

So, Becky looked at Walker with a pitiful expression, fully showing her reluctance to go home!

Walker thought about it. It would be good for her to play here. He and Vivian were quite busy and couldn't take care of her much. Since she was happier here, he decided to let her stay. Susa had grown up under his watch, so there wouldn't be any problems.

"Be good at Uncle Yi's, Becky. Grandpa will come to pick you up tonight."

Walker instructed Becky, and seeing her nod, he turned to Qin Yi, "Yi, I'm really troubling you!"

Qin Yi waved his hand and smiled, "Don't say that, Walker. We usually have nothing to do and just play with Angel. Now that Becky is here, it's even better. The two girls will have more fun together. Don't worry, we'll take good care of Becky!"

Walker smiled gratefully, rubbed Becky's head, said goodbye to everyone, and drove home.

Soon, Ryan and Hobbs also said their goodbyes. It was almost noon, and they needed to cook. Qin Yi wanted to keep them for lunch, but they insisted on going back. So, Qin Yi gave each of them a barrel of wine, which they happily accepted, especially Hobbs, who said that with this barrel of wine, he wouldn't have to go to Ryan's for more!

After seeing Ryan and Hobbs off, Qin Yi looked at Angel and Becky playing happily on the lawn in front of the house. He thought for a moment and then went to the vegetable garden to cut some chives. They would have dumplings for lunch.

"Uncle Yi!"

After a few steps, he heard Angel calling him. He turned around and saw the two little girls riding the alpacas, smiling as they slowly approached.

The three alpacas were not yet adults. With Liu Qimeng's help, Angel had already named them. The white male alpaca was called Lazy Sheep, and the two female alpacas, one white and one brown, were called Pretty Sheep and Lovely Sheep.

The names made Qin Yi, who had seen "Big Bad Wolf," feel a bit awkward.

"What's wrong, Angel?"

"Uncle Yi, what are you going to do?" Angel tilted her head, and Becky, who was following behind, looked at him curiously.

"Uncle is going to the vegetable garden. Do you want to have chive dumplings for lunch?"

"Sure!" Angel nodded, and then introduced Becky, "Becky, Uncle Yi's cooking is really delicious. I love it!"

Becky's eyes lit up, and she smacked her lips, clearly eager to eat.

Qin Yi found it amusing to see the two little foodies.

"Angel, play with Becky. I'll go to the vegetable garden to cut some chives and make something delicious for you."

"I'll take Becky with me!"

Angel remembered her own vegetable garden and wanted to show Becky. Becky nodded, and now that they were playing so well, she didn't want to be separated!

Qin Yi didn't mind. He led Lazy Sheep, and Angel and Becky, holding hands, rode Pretty Sheep and Lovely Sheep, followed by a group of animals, forming a grand procession towards the vegetable garden. Susa, who had come downstairs, saw this and smiled.

"Uncle Yi, tell a story!"

"Okay, I'll tell a story about a skinny monkey catching a big carp."

"Great!"

The two little girls clapped their hands in approval, and then Qin Yi's voice telling the story could be heard faintly, "One day, the skinny monkey protected the teacher and came to a big river. It was a very wide river..."

"Uncle Yi, how wide is it? Is it as wide as the Sun River? Can you cross it by boat?"

...

After bringing the chives back, Angel and Becky let the alpacas graze freely and followed Liu Qimeng back to the house to watch cartoons. Susa helped Qin Yi wash the vegetables.

"Qin Yi, are you and the Walkers very close?" Qin Yi was puzzled. When they mentioned going to Walker's farm to pick dairy cows yesterday, she didn't show any sign of knowing them.

Susa smiled, "My father and Walker are old friends. But since I went to college, I rarely came back, and in the past two years, you know about Angel's condition. We basically lost contact, so I didn't mention it to you."

Qin Yi nodded in understanding. It was normal for friends who hadn't been in touch for years to feel a bit strange if they suddenly tried to reconnect.

For lunch, they had dumplings, sweet and sour pork ribs, and braised eggplant, which filled everyone up. Before the meal, Qin Yi spent a few minutes making a pair of small chopsticks for Becky, who couldn't use them and had to eat by scooping from the bowl.

After the meal, the dogs finished their grilled fish. Qin Yi looked at the strong dogs and started thinking about whether to give them some tasks now.

There weren't enough Border Collies yet, so they would take over a small part of the cattle herding. The rest would still be handled by the Queensland Heeler dogs. Once the number of Border Collies increased, they would make further plans.

Moreover, the chicks and ducklings they had brought from home were now half-grown and couldn't be kept in confinement, as it would affect their egg-laying. They needed to build chicken coops and duck coops.

These were things that needed to be arranged in the next couple of days. Qin Yi thought about it while kneading dough in the kitchen, leaving it to rise for the evening to fry some oil sticks!
