"Uncle Yi, hello."

Recently, Becky has been playing at the ranch during the day, and she has already become very familiar with everyone. Qin Yi and Susa have been very good to her, treating her like their own child, so Becky feels as relaxed here as if she were at home.

"Uncle Yi, the chicks have built their house. Can Angel and I go visit?"

Becky looked expectant, and Angel had the same expression. The two little ones loved making friends!

Visit the chicks' house?

Qin Yi was taken aback for a moment, but quickly realized that they were treating the chicks and ducklings as friends and wanted to visit their friends' house!

Ha, children's thoughts are so innocent!

But it's this innocence that makes them smile at the birds in the morning, treat the chicks as friends, and see every life as equal, making the world seem full of beautiful things to them!

Playing with children is really nice; it's easy to find joy in their lives.

"Uncle Yi? Do the chicks not welcome us?"

Angel and Becky tilted their heads, looking at Qin Yi curiously, not understanding why he wasn't speaking.

Qin Yi snapped back to reality, scolding himself for being so absent-minded. He was living a relaxed and fulfilling life, so why was he thinking about such nonsense!

He patted the back of his head, stepped forward, and patted their little heads, smiling. "Angel and Becky are so cute, the chicks will definitely welcome you. But remember, when you visit, you need to be polite, okay?"

"Sure, I and Becky will be very polite!" Angel's little face was full of seriousness, and Becky nodded her head.

Susa walked over, pinching their cheeks with a smile. "Alright, girls, Uncle Yi still needs to help build the chicks' house. Don't disturb him. Let's go play somewhere else."

Susa smiled at Qin Yi and led the two little girls away. Qin Yi turned around and joined Ryan and Hobbs, throwing himself into the chicken coop construction!

It took Qin Yi and the two others three hours to finally build the chicken coop. They brought the chickens and ducks back, and placed two dogs to guard them. With this, the chicks and ducklings were settled.

When they got home in the evening, Teddy was playing with Eagle One and Eagle Two on the lawn. Maggie didn't bother with them, lying on the side and dozing off. This made Eagle One and Eagle Two, the two unlucky ones, bolder, pecking at Teddy's bottom in a two-on-one attack.

But they were no match for Teddy's strength. Even though Teddy was still a cub, Eagle One and Eagle Two were also eaglets, with their wings not fully feathered yet. They couldn't run fast enough to escape Teddy, so they were often slapped to the ground by Teddy, unable to gain any advantage.

Fortunately, it was just play, and Teddy didn't use much force. Although it looked intense, no one was hurt, so the three cubs were having a good time.

Qin Yi watched this scene and nodded approvingly, feeling that his combination of strictness and kindness was very effective.

Qin Yi was very supportive of the little animals practicing sparring. Although they might not need these skills, if they ever went into the wild, it would be good to have some self-defense abilities. It would be a huge joke if a bear he raised starved to death or was taken down by a few wolves in the wild!

Hei Mi and Xiao Mai were very diligent. They saw Qin Yi and the others return home first and ran over to welcome them, circling around and making whimpering sounds, as if asking where they had been all afternoon without taking them along!

Qin Yi rubbed their heads hard, calming them down. Teddy also saw them and, ignoring Eagle One and Eagle Two who were still trying to spar with him, hopped over. The poor eaglets, pecking at Teddy's tail, were dragged along the ground!

"Eagle One, Eagle Two, not good, bullying Teddy!" Angel climbed down from the little flower cow, pointing at the eaglets on the ground, scolding them. Becky nodded with a smile.

Qin Yi and Susa laughed. Bullying Teddy? Didn't these two little girls see Teddy slap them to the ground just now?

If the unlucky brothers could understand, they would be so aggrieved!

Leading the group of animals back to the living room, Liu Qimeng was hugging Lai Pi and watching TV. This girl had been helping Susie tend the vegetable garden all afternoon, experiencing authentic rural life. As she put it, if they were doing farm tourism, they couldn't not experience farm life themselves! This was called knowing and loving one's profession, and she spoke with confidence.

Qin Yi went to the kitchen to check the duck he had soaked yesterday. It was almost ready, and he planned to make a pot of old duck soup for dinner.

The two little girls playing in the living room saw their Uncle Yi enter the kitchen, patted their empty little bellies, and ran over hand in hand, looking up at him. "Uncle Yi, what are we having for dinner?"

Qin Yi didn't turn around, changing the water for the duck. "We're having duck tonight, stewed for soup. How about that?"

"But, Uncle Yi, the ducks haven't grown up yet, and they still need to lay eggs..."

Angel and Becky didn't want to eat the ducks or the chicks. They wanted to wait for them to lay eggs. Uncle Yi had mentioned making salted duck eggs before, which were very delicious, and they hadn't tried them yet!

"Aha, that's right, the ducks need to lay eggs, so we won't eat them." Qin Yi lifted the duck and waved it at them. "We'll eat this. This won't lay eggs. It's old duck soup, very tasty. You've had it before, right, Angel?"

Angel nodded happily. As long as they didn't eat the ducks, they could keep them for eggs, and Uncle Yi could make salted duck eggs. And the old duck soup was very tasty. She clapped her hands, thinking it was perfect: the ducks would lay eggs, and the old duck would be stewed for soup, so they would have both!

The little girl pulled Becky, describing the deliciousness of salted duck eggs and old duck soup. But being so young, she couldn't think of many words to describe it. She hadn't even tasted salted duck eggs yet, so she just kept saying, "Very tasty!"

But even so, Becky was drooling and looking forward to it. She couldn't imagine how tasty it would be, but thinking about the delicious dishes Uncle Yi had made in the past few days, she had a clear impression: Uncle Yi's dishes were the best!

If Qin Yi could hear Becky's thoughts, he would be very happy. But now he needed to start cooking, so he sent the two little girls to play with the animals in the living room.

The old duck was stewing, and he started making pancakes. Susa also came to help, first putting the big carp in the oven and then making a fruit platter.

Now, only Hei Mi and Xiao Mai were left in the main house, so they needed less food. The herding dogs were being taken care of by Susie, and there were plenty of big carps in the nearby river, so it wasn't a problem.

After dinner, Becky didn't want to go home. Angel found Qin Yi. "Uncle Yi, can Becky sleep with me tonight?"

The two little ones looked at him with bright, expectant eyes.

Qin Yi had no objections. "Becky needs to ask her grandfather. If he agrees, then it's fine."

Hearing this, they pulled him to make the call. Qin Yi didn't delay, as Walker would be driving Becky home soon. He didn't want to miss the call and have Walker make a trip for nothing.

"Hello, this is Vivian."

"Hello, Vivian, it's Yi." Qin Yi got straight to the point. "Vivian, Becky wants to sleep with Angel tonight. I'll let her speak."

Qin Yi handed the phone to Becky, who was standing on tiptoe, giving her an encouraging look. The little girl happily took the phone. "Grandma, it's Becky. I want to sleep with Angel. Can I come home tomorrow?"

"Sure, Becky is very well-behaved!"

Vivian probably gave a few more instructions, and Becky nodded in agreement, then handed the phone back to Qin Yi with a smile.

"Vivian, it's Yi."

"Yi, I'm really troubling you!" Vivian felt a bit embarrassed and helpless. Becky was always running to Yi's ranch to play and didn't want to go home!

But in America, it's normal for children to stay at a friend's house for a night. And with Susa taking care of them, there was no need to worry, so Vivian didn't mind and agreed to Becky's request.

"Aha, we're very happy to have Becky. The girls are having a great time, and having children around makes the house more lively."

After hanging up, Qin Yi took the girls for a walk on the lawn in front of the house, with the animals playing behind them.
