Checking the time, it was already four in the afternoon. There was a party in the evening, so Qin Yi took everyone back to the ranch. Before leaving, he had Hobbs catch two sheep, and then followed everyone back. He and Ryan were the main forces for tonight's whole lamb roast!

Everyone returned to the main house, and Qin Yi had Susa take Angel and Becky to the vegetable garden. They couldn't let the children see the sheep being slaughtered.

Liu Qimeng was timid and naturally took the opportunity to follow Susa out. This made Ye Fang sigh in regret; he had originally wanted to offer his broad shoulders when Miss Liu was scared!

Calling Ryan over, the men chose a slightly secluded corner on the lawn. Ryan and Hobbs took the lead, and the two sheep were quickly and neatly slaughtered. Qin Yi had already prepared cold water, and the sheep's blood was all put into the water. Ye Fang and the others, following Qin Yi's instructions, helped by adding salt, stirring, and removing foam, none of them idle.

Ryan and Hobbs looked at the four of them, somewhat puzzled, not knowing what they were up to. They used to feed the sheep's blood to the cattle dogs and didn't understand why it was being collected.

Qin Yi didn't explain, just called the two to start skinning the sheep.

This was their specialty, and before long, two complete sheepskins were out. Qin Yi casually put them aside; they weren't rare. Fang Yue and Wang Xixi were a bit curious, but since the sheepskins hadn't been processed, they looked terrible, so they glanced a few times and then paid no more attention.

When processing the internal organs, Qin Yi kept the sheep's head, heart, liver, and other offal. Tomorrow, he would find a large pot and stew a pot of sheep offal soup, which would surely be delicious.

At this point, Hobbs finally couldn't hold back. Looking at the offal and blood in the basin, he asked curiously, "Yi, what are you going to do with these hearts and livers?"

Qin Yi was about to explain, but Ryan patted Hobbs on the shoulder, saying with the air of an experienced person, "Ah, Hobbs, it looks like you're in for a treat. These things, when handled by Yi, will turn into delicious food!"

Ryan was actually just guessing. He had previously eaten chicken liver made by Qin Yi. Although he didn't particularly love it, the unique texture and flavor left a deep impression on him.

Qin Yi nodded, not explaining further, and said with a smile, "It's too late tonight, but I'll make it tomorrow, and everyone can try it."

Qin Yi's words piqued Ryan's interest. He had eaten Qin Yi's Chinese dishes many times and really enjoyed the authentic taste.

The happiest were Ye Fang and the others. Being able to eat freshly slaughtered whole lamb was already a pleasant surprise, and as for the sheep offal soup, they hadn't even thought about it. Once made, it would be delicious and nourishing, not inferior to lamb soup!

Ryan and Hobbs marinated the two sheep, while Qin Yi cleaned the offal, and Ye Fang and the others helped.

With everyone pitching in, they quickly finished the preparations. They then went to the warehouse to bring out the barbecue grill, charcoal, tables, and chairs. They also had Ryan go to the kitchen to cut beef. There were many people tonight, and it was uncertain if two sheep would be enough.

Better to prepare more than less.

Of course, they couldn't be idle. Qin Yi took them to the wine cellar to move the wine, which was stored in barrels, including fruit wine and beer.

"Oh, my God, this is fruit wine? Ha, Yi, looks like I'll have to drink a few more glasses!"

Hobbs arranged the wine and poured half a glass. The aroma told him it was Qin Yi's fruit wine, a flavor he was very familiar with. Although he had only recently been introduced to it, he felt he would never forget it!

At the same time, he was amazed by Qin Yi's generosity. If it were someone else, they would have kept the wine for themselves, not shared it with everyone! But this made him feel that working for such a boss was truly a blessing. He knew he had to work hard to deserve such treatment.

Qin Yi smiled but didn't say much. He could brew wine once a month, and with the current consumption, more than half of the wine he brewed each month was left over. He wasn't stingy with the wine.

Of course, this was not for sale; only family and friends could enjoy it. Perhaps in the future, it could be used for some plans, but that was for later.

After these preparations, Susa brought Angel and Becky back, and Susie and Rachie also came to help. Qin Yi noticed Liu Qimeng and Rachie holding hands, wondering how these two, with completely different personalities, had become so close.

Women are truly incomprehensible!

Since Susie was helping, Qin Yi had them make some ice cream and desserts. Susa had made some at noon, but better to have more than less. This stuff could be stored in the fridge, and with Angel and Becky, there was no fear of having too much!

Just as he thought this, the two little girls followed Susa and Susie into the house. A moment later, each of them came out with a small bowl of ice cream, sitting under the pergola, watching the busy crowd and enjoying their treats.

Ryan brought out a lot of beef, and Qin Yi took Ye Fang and the others to marinate it. The sheep were almost marinated, and Ryan and Hobbs started the fire. This needed to be done early, as it took a long time to cook.

Soon, Walker and Vivian also arrived. Becky ran over to greet them and then went to play with Angel. The old couple, seeing their happy granddaughter, were delighted. Because of Susa, they didn't feel like outsiders and started helping right away.

Vivian and Susie were about the same age and had a lot in common. Susa, being a junior, joined them in preparing cookies and desserts, and there was laughter all around.

Rachie led Liu Qimeng in making salad, and Qin Yi nodded, thinking that if they really got together, at least they wouldn't starve, as there would always be salad to fall back on!

Ha, ha, ha, this guy was a bit gleeful!

As night fell, the cowboys gradually arrived, and the atmosphere on the lawn became increasingly lively.

The cookies and desserts made by Susa and the others were already spread out on the tables in the middle, and everyone helped themselves, chatting and drinking beer, enjoying the leisure after a hard day's work.

The whole lamb roast was taken care of by Ryan and Hobbs, and Qin Yi and Walker were responsible for the meat. Burke and Ye Fang were more familiar, so he introduced them to some of the cowboys. They chatted about topics of interest, and for a moment, everyone was in high spirits.

The grilled meat was ready first, and Qin Yi called everyone to start eating. Each person got a small piece to tide them over, and the whole lamb roast would be the main course.

Qin Yi grilled a round of beef and then joined Ryan, watching the two of them turn the whole lamb and occasionally brush on some sauce. This was somewhat similar to grilling beef slices but required more skill in controlling the heat.

Qin Yi admitted he wasn't quite up to it and wanted to learn some techniques. Grilling a whole lamb looked very rugged and would be a great experience if done by hand.

The whole lamb had been on the grill for a long time. Soon after everyone finished the beef, Ryan signaled to Qin Yi that it was ready to eat.

Qin Yi was also excited. For Qin Yi, a whole lamb roast was a luxury, something he had only heard about but never tasted.

Several people worked together to move the lamb to the table. Qin Yi, lacking experience, let Ryan take the lead, slicing the lamb for everyone. First, of course, were Angel and Becky, the ranch's little darlings. The cowboys all liked them, and seeing them drooling, they laughed and watched.

After a while, everyone was holding plates, gathering in small groups, drinking beer, and eating lamb, very content.

Qin Yi and the others gathered again, tasting the lamb ribs on their plates. They all agreed that the taste and texture were quite good, just a bit undercooked. Qin Yi inwardly smiled, no wonder, look at the thick parts of the meat, still slightly pink, not fully cooked. But there was no way around it; Americans liked it this way.
