The next day, Qin Yi got up at 5 o'clock, built a makeshift stove on the lawn in front of the house, and found a large iron pot in the warehouse. He started a fire to stew a pot of sheep offal soup.

This required patience, so he wasn't in a hurry. He took the just-awake Angel to practice boxing and grooming the horses.

This morning's pot of sheep offal soup left Susa at a loss, as she usually made breakfast, preparing various soups, noodles, or millet porridge and egg pancakes, which she had become quite skilled at. However, with today's setup, she didn't know what to do.

In the morning, Susa only added a few logs when the firewood was about to burn out. After putting a large carp in the oven, she had nothing else to do, which made her, who was used to making breakfast, feel a bit bored. In the end, it was Liu Qimeng who came downstairs and pulled her to watch TV, making the time pass a bit faster.

Compared to Susa's leisure, Angel claimed she was very busy.

Becky went home to sleep last night, so the task of taking the three lazy llamas and the little flower cow for a walk fell on her small shoulders!

Thus, a scene unfolded in the horse field: Qin Yi rode Little Black and ran ahead quickly, while Angel rode Lazy Sheep, leading Pretty Sheep, Lovely Sheep, and the little flower cow, walking slowly behind, with the mother and son Maci Teddy following.

Every time Qin Yi rode Little Black and lapped the little girl, she would pout and call out for Qin Yi to wait for her, while loudly complaining that Lazy Sheep was a big lazy bug!

Qin Yi secretly laughed. Children are like this; when Becky was around, the two of them would ride the llamas together and laugh, without complaining about the slow pace. Now, with no one to play with, she naturally felt bored.

After a round of busy work, the air was already filled with the aroma of meat. Ye Fang and the others gathered around the makeshift stove to watch.

Angel's little nose twitched, and the delicious smell made her drool. She pulled Qin Yi's big hand and ran forward, wishing she had two more legs.

"Come on, Uncle Yi, the meat is cooked and smells so good, I can smell it!"

"Don't be in a hurry, Angel. It's not done yet. Uncle will make some flatbread, and then it will be ready."

Although he said this, Qin Yi's steps still quickened.

Unlike the sheep offal soup made at home, the offal bought from the market was already half-cooked, so it only needed to be boiled for two to three minutes. However, this was raw, and the sheep's head, heart, liver, and other parts were whole, requiring a longer stewing time.

However, his words clearly didn't dampen the little girl's eager mood. She nodded slightly but still ran to the makeshift stove, stretching her head to look into the pot, unconsciously biting her plump little finger, her big eyes full of anticipation.

"Angel, how many times have I told you not to bite your fingers? Otherwise, you won't be a good girl!" Qin Yi helplessly pinched her chubby little face, once again teaching the little girl to break this bad habit.

Unfortunately, no matter how many times he said it, she couldn't change. When she was full, it was fine, but when she was hungry, she would subconsciously do this, especially after eating Qin Yi's cooking, as Susa said.

"Hehe, Angel is very well-behaved!" The little girl quickly retracted her finger, took out a small tissue to wipe it, and then put on a well-behaved look.

Qin Yi couldn't do anything about her, pinched her little face again, and was pushed away by her two chubby little hands. He chuckled and walked to the pot.

"Yi, your skills have improved! Have you been researching cooking all day at the ranch?" Ye Fang sniffed, savoring the comforting aroma, with a look of contentment, while also teasing Qin Yi.

"Yes, unlike you, who runs around all day, I just stay at the ranch, fishing and grooming horses to pass the time!" Qin Yi put on a sighing face, but his words made Ye Fang glare, as if he was deliberately showing off his leisurely life.

The banter had its wins and losses, and this round, Qin Yi was temporarily at a disadvantage. Ye Fang ignored him and continued to stare at the pot, planning to challenge him again another day!

"Yi, you're intentionally making people envious, but this soup is really good!" Wang Xixi felt her horizons broadened. Stewing chicken soup wasn't rare, but this large pot of sheep offal soup was her first time seeing it. She clicked her tongue in admiration, her curiosity written all over her face.

"I'll go make some flatbread to go with the sheep offal soup; it tastes best this way." Qin Yi took the large ladle and stirred the pot, checking the color of the soup.

At this point, the sheep blood cubes were cooked. They shouldn't be boiled for too long. Seeing Susa come out of the house, he asked her to bring a basin to scoop out the sheep blood, while the rest continued to cook.

Adding more firewood, Qin Yi went back to the house to make flatbread.

The cooked sheep offal required one more step. However, this was simple: the meat from the sheep's head was removed, and the sheep blood, heart, liver, and other offal were sliced. The fire in the makeshift stove was increased, and the sheep offal soup in the large pot was a good thing. The soup, made from sheep broth, contained the best part. The offal was added, cooked for a few minutes, and then seasoned with scallions, ginger, cilantro, and garnished with vegetables, kelp threads, and thin tofu strips, and it was ready to serve.

For breakfast, the Layne family and Hobbs came, as Qin Yi had reminded them multiple times at the end of the party yesterday. This large pot was enough for everyone.

Moreover, it was early autumn, and the weather was still warm. These nourishing and tonifying foods shouldn't be eaten in large quantities. Each person eating a bowl and finishing the meal was the best.

With so many people, although the living room could accommodate everyone, it felt too formal. The lawn was better. Qin Yi and Ye Fang's group went to the warehouse to bring tables and chairs, and everyone sat on the lawn, enjoying the cool breeze and the rising sun, feeling refreshed, like a picnic, with more relaxed conversation and behavior.

This large pot of stew was the first time Layne and the others had seen it. Seeing the simple utensils and smelling the delicious aroma, their admiration for Chinese cuisine rose to a new level, and they praised it endlessly!

Qin Yi, seeing their genuine curiosity and surprise, felt happy.

Susa brought out the large bowls they usually used for noodles, and Qin Yi served each of them a bowl. Watching them eat the flatbread and drink the sheep offal soup, sweating profusely, he felt a sense of accomplishment: he was promoting traditional Chinese cuisine!

Compared to Layne and the others, the praise from the four Chinese people, Ye Fang, Fang Yue, and Wang Xixi, who frequented the snack street, and Liu Qimeng and Ye Fang, who often lingered there during their university days, was even more gratifying. They had tasted sheep offal soup and mutton soup from all over the country!

The snack street catered to the general public, and the food there had been tested by history and people. The taste was beyond question. If Qin Yi's sheep offal soup could satisfy their discerning palates, his culinary skills were truly top-notch!

Of course, the most delightful was the little girl Angel. She finished a bowl and ran to Qin Yi with the large bowl, "Uncle Yi, I want more!"

Susa, hearing this, said helplessly with a smile, "Angel, you'll burst..."

The little girl patted her full little belly, indeed feeling full, but looking at the half-pot of soup, she really wanted more!

Qin Yi reached out and touched her round, full little belly, patting her head with a smile, "Angel, eating too much can make your belly burst. Let's have it another day!"

Qin Yi wouldn't serve her another bowl. The little girl used the same large bowl as everyone else, with an adult's portion. Eating a flatbread and drinking the sheep offal soup would make her full, let alone this little girl?

Being young, she didn't know the consequences, and he was really afraid she would burst!

Layne and the others were also close friends, and Ye Fang's group was even more so. They didn't hold back, each taking another half bowl, sitting and chatting, slowly savoring the delicious soup.

Angel, with her big eyes, watched everyone drink the soup, looking pitiful. Qin Yi, fearing she would drink more, quickly asked her to wake up Lazy.

Sure enough, the little girl was happy to accept this task and ran back to the house. Poor Lazy, who loved to sleep in, was in for a rough time!
