Ouka stands in front of me.

“What do you mean?”

“Not much. Do you have any idea what this quest entails?”

“Guild card or a weapon?”

“’However, it only applies to the group that took it to the guild first. Guilds are performance-based. They don’t care about the process.”

“That’s …….”

“So it doesn’t matter if we rob and kill each other.”

Sen responds to Ouka’s trembling voice.

But the expression on his face was not a condescending one. It was seriousness itself.

There is nothing wrong with Sen’s idea.

It’s no secret that the Guild is a performance-based organization. It’s the same in this case.

No matter how hard you try, if you are cheated or forced to give away the results at the end, it’s over.

The guild’s idea is that the same thing happens to anyone who would take away the results because, at some point, the sky’s the limit.

If you don’t know what you’re capable of, you’re going to die.

Gilmour’s words stung here.

“As long as you hold her back, that slave girl would be useless. After all, [Bonds-list] doesn’t work for slaves.”

“You’re learning more than you thought you would. You’re gonna be a great adventurer.”

“Thank you. But are you a youkai fox?”

Sen stares at Ouka.

I’ve heard that foxes are hated in this world. So Sen is no different.

But it seems to be a look of discrimination, or rather a warning.

“Even if it’s not a bad idea, it’s still an important precaution, don’t you think?”

Sen puts his hand on the numbers around his neck.

“Summon Bond– Activate.”

A circular light was formed next to Sen.

When a pattern that looks like a magic circle emerges, a light begins to gather in its center.

In time, it took on human form.

When the light subsided, Nana was there.

“[Bonds-list] magic that can be activated by consuming all of your MP. So Nana had to explore the east, and I was following you guys at the same time,”

He’s talking about something flippant, but it’s more than that.

Summon Bond–I’ve never heard of a friend summoning feature in [Bonds-list] before!

Sen should be using magic against me, so my MP should be down.

The numbness of that attack has not yet been broken.

I peeked at Sen’s status while I was stuck. Thank goodness I don’t have to make a motion to open the status.

Sen(M)

Race: Human

Job: None.

Level: 28

HP: 451/501

MP: 0/81

Attack Power: 361

Defence: 501

Agility: 361

Destiny: 36

Abilities: Nanasen-Den (The Seven Sparks of Electricity)

The fact that he wasn’t injured and his HP was decreasing means that the ability he used reduced his HP.

Even if you didn’t have MP, to begin with, your opponent’s MP could be used by the Kizunaist to summon a friend. What a well-designed system, dammit.
