The second floor, after being ravaged by over a hundred zombies, had become a mess, with overturned tables and chairs scattered everywhere. Bloodstains covered the floor, tables, and even the ceiling, but by now, these stains had turned black and foul-smelling.

Tang Tian speculated that this must have been the result of the initial zombie attack on the living people.

Tianshui University, as one of the top universities in the country, had a student population of tens of thousands, and with teachers and staff, the total number was at least seventy to eighty thousand.

With such a large number of people, the emergence of various social classes was inevitable due to different family backgrounds.

For example, students from ordinary families would usually choose to dine in the main hall of the school cafeteria. Those with slightly better backgrounds would opt for private rooms in the cafeteria. As for those from very wealthy families, they would not come to the school cafeteria at all but would drive to hotels outside the campus for their meals.

These were observations Tang Tian made while working part-time in the cafeteria.

Tang Tian first came to the door of the private room that had been surrounded by zombies. He saw that the door was almost completely smashed by the zombies. However, since this was a private room designed for the children of wealthy families, the quality of the door was good enough to withstand the attack. If Tang Tian had not eliminated the zombies outside, it would have been only a matter of time before the door was breached.

The reason Tang Tian came here first was to find out which idiot had dared to shout so loudly amidst so many zombies, as if they were not afraid of dying.

*Knock, knock, knock* "Is anyone still alive in there?" Tang Tian knocked on the door and shouted loudly.

*Ah, ah, ah*! As soon as Tang Tian spoke, he could hear screams from inside the room, clearly indicating that the people inside had been frightened by his knocking.

"It's a girl, huh? No wonder this idiot. But it's understandable that girls can't handle being scared," Tang Tian quickly judged the personality of the person inside from the screams.

After knocking, Tang Tian did not knock again, giving the girl inside some time to process the situation.

Sure enough, after a while, Tang Tian heard someone speaking from inside, "Excuse me, is the student outside here to save us? What about those monsters?"

"I just killed those monsters to level up; saving you was just a side effect," Tang Tian thought to himself. However, to avoid hurting the girl's feelings, he said, "Are you okay? The monsters outside have been eliminated, you can come out now."

In fact, the reason Tang Tian thought this way was because he had once liked a beautiful girl, but she not only rejected him but also mocked him.

Tang Tian remembered a particularly hurtful remark: "If you don't have money, don't try to have a girlfriend. Do you want me to follow you to collect trash?"

This statement deeply wounded Tang Tian's heart, and from then on, he no longer had such thoughts. He also began to develop a dislike for girls, focusing instead on studying hard and earning money to support himself.

After a while, perhaps feeling that the outside was quiet and safe, the door of the private room was opened a crack, and a voice asked, "Is it really safe outside?"

Tang Tian only saw a beautiful eye, as the gap was too small. He was sure that if anything happened outside, the door would be closed immediately.

Seeing the cautious demeanor of the person inside, Tang Tian wanted to laugh, thinking, "Where did the loud shouting go?" He shrugged and said, "Believe it or not, the monsters are all gone. Take your time, I need to check on the others."

Saying this, Tang Tian turned and left, not caring about the girl at all.

"Hey! Why are you like this? Don't you know how to consider a girl's feelings?" As Tang Tian was about to leave, the door of the private room opened, and the girl who had been shouting earlier, now feeling safe, called out to him.

"Why should I consider your feelings? What are you to me?" Tang Tian turned around, a smile on his face. "What time is it now? The world has changed, so why are you still acting so proud?"

However, when Tang Tian turned around, he noticed that the girl who had come out was quite pretty, with a well-proportioned figure and a doll-like face, like a young girl who had not yet grown up. She was now glaring at him with wide eyes.

She pointed at him and said, "Are you even a man?"

"Try me, and you'll know," Tang Tian said sarcastically.

"You... you..." The beautiful girl, clearly unused to such treatment, turned red with anger, pointing at him, at a loss for words.

"Alright, Bingbing, don't argue with such a person. He has no manners," a tall, pretty girl with a high nose said, coming to Bingbing's side. She looked at Tang Tian, who was wearing a cafeteria worker's uniform, with disdain, but when she saw the stick in his hand, covered in black liquid, she became more cautious.

Unlike the high-nosed girl and the doll-faced girl, the other four people who came out of the private room immediately began to observe their surroundings. When they saw the pile of zombie corpses in the hallway, their faces turned pale, but a glimmer of thought appeared in their eyes.

One of the boys, who looked refined but had a hint of arrogance in his eyes, stepped forward and said, "Hello, I'm Zhang Ling, the president of the student council. Where did those monsters come from? And were those all your doing?"

Hearing Zhang Ling's words, Tang Tian suddenly remembered that Zhang Ling was no ordinary person. His father was a major businessman in the city, with assets in the billions, and he was also very handsome, a dream lover for many fangirls.

Tang Tian shrugged and said, "I'm sure you all heard the voice in your heads. These things are definitely zombies. As for the rest, I just used a little trick. As you know, zombies are slow-moving. As long as you overcome your fear, they are easy to deal with."

Tang Tian's conversation with Zhang Ling caught the attention of the doll-faced girl, Bingbing, and the high-nosed girl. When they saw the pile of zombie corpses in the hallway, their faces turned pale, and they instinctively took a few steps back, looking at Tang Tian with a mix of fear.

Apart from the two headless girls, the other four people, upon hearing Tang Tian's words, began to think. They realized that anyone who could handle so many terrifying things must be extraordinary, and their gaze towards Tang Tian changed in an indescribable way.

Hearing Tang Tian's explanation, Zhang Ling smiled and said, "At first, I thought it was a joke and didn't take it seriously, but... well, the situation is right in front of us, so I have no choice but to believe it."

At this moment, Shen Yun stepped forward and looked at Tang Tian, saying, "Hello, I'm Shen Yun. You might have heard of me. Who are you? And how is it outside?"

"Jiang Tian. As for outside, why don't you go to the window and see for yourselves?" Tang Tian was not about to be swayed by the words of a school beauty and remained indifferent.
