The warm afternoon sun shone in through the window, reflecting the light from the hospital’s white blanket, shrouding the man beside the bed in a white circle of light. A month had passed, but once again, when she saw He Yu smiling at her, Su Qiuzi always felt like she was in a dream.

She let out an “oh”, withdrew her eyes and felt her body, before finally confirming, “No.”

“I’ll go call the doctor then.” He Yu looked at the bandages and gauze wrapped around her bruises and, after speaking softly, raised his hand and caressed her hair. The man’s palm was warm and soft, as if carrying a subtle electric current, Su Qiuzi’s eyelashes trembled slightly, then nodded and agreed.

A few moments after He Yu went out, the doctor who treated her wound the previous time walked in. The doctor looked calm and gave her some more check-ups. After finishing the check-ups, the doctor assured her that she could be discharged from the hospital today.

After processing the paperwork, the doctor handed out medicine to He Yu, looked at Su Qiuzi and advised: “The wound must not be exposed to water and the medicines must be applied on time, otherwise it will leave scars. These are all minor injuries, family members can help to apply them.”

Listening to the doctor’s words, Su Qiuzi expressed her thanks and next to her, He Yu patted the doctor’s shoulder. The original cold doctor smiled lightly, then Su Qiuzi and He Yu made their way out of the hospital.

“This doctor is quite handsome.” Su Qiuzi went out and then realized that the doctor and He Yu somehow knew each other. Su Qizui only realized it when she recalled how He Yu patted the doctor’s shoulder as they went down the steps of the hospital.

Despite being a weekday, the hospital was still very busy, with people coming and going. As He Yu walked beside Su Qiuzi, he listened to her words and didn’t express anything, only smiled lightly, which was exceptionally well mannered.

There was no shortage of good-looking men around He Yu. Naturally, different people had different temperaments and looks, each with their own handsomeness. By the time she woke up, the car was already parked in the underground garage, she opened her eyes, took a look at the familiar garage, frowned, opened the door and walked out. Just as she got out of the car, her body was stopped by a man. He Yu’s body was tall and sturdy, Su Qiuzi’s whole body crashed into his arms and her wounds were tugged, she grimaced in pain and raised her eyes to glare at him.

“Where to?” He Yu looked at her with downcast eyes and a gentle tone. However, his body stopped in front of her, and this tenderness was surprisingly tinged with some dominance.

“I want to go home.” Su Qiuzi looked up at him, the two stood facing each other, but Su Qiuzi did not lose her momentum.

The man’s expression remained unchanged, under the thick eyelashes, a pair of eyes as deep as the sea, he looked into her eyes and said in a deep voice: “This is your home.”

It was actually in the underground parking lot of the Ranfeng Mansion and Su Qiuzi was stunned as soon as He Yu’s words were out. She bit her lower lip and explained, “I’m going back to my apartment.”

The parking lot was very quiet, only the sound of their conversation could be heard, once Su Qiuzi’s words fell, He Yu only looked at her quietly and said, “Do you think I will let you go back?”

The moment He said the words, Su Qiuzi jerked her head up and looked at He Yu in disbelief. The man was still the same person, but it seemed like he also wasn’t the same one anymore. If it was before, He would have respected her opinion. Su Qiuzi looked up at him and said, “Why are you being so unreasonable?”
