“Why am I obliged to be reasonable?” The man’s words were laced with laughter and some sort of stubbornness.

After this earthquake, Su Qiuzi also learned that she would eventually forgive He Yu, after all, life was short, not knowing when her life would be gone. In this bitter short life, then why not forget the pain of the past and be with the people you love most again.

But the pain was already dealt with and Su Qiuzi did not intend to forgive He Yu so easily. She also had her share of anger, so how could He Yu save her once, cried once and let the matter go.

There was definitely something wrong with He Yu today, but Su Qiuzi knew that he could hardly say it, so when he wasn’t paying attention, Su Qiuzi turned her body to the side and ran away. But before she could run away, He Yu reached out to stop her with his hand and before Su Qiuzi could react, her body was taken by surprise and she was held by He Yu.

“He Yu!” Su Qiuzi had never seen such a He Yu, her eyes widened in shock. When she called out He Yu’s name, He Yu did not let go, he held her and pinned her against the car.

Her body did not hit the car, but it was He Yu’s hand that pressed against the window glass. The man’s bones collided with the glass and made a muffled sound, Su Qiuzi subconsciously felt that this was quite painful, and turned his head to look at He Yu.

The man’s eyes drooped slightly, his deep eyes were flooded with a layer of intense light. Seeing his eyes, Su Qiuzi’s heart felt like it was placed on a soft cloud, which was also intertwined with subtle lightning currents and she was overwhelmed for a moment, draining the blood from her heart.

Unable to withstand his gaze, Su Qiuzi was heartbroken and unwilling, she looked down and brushed aside his sight, frowning seriously, “I haven’t forgiven you yet.”

“I will change.” He Yu said.

Another layer of electricity streamed through her heart and Su Qiuzi’s brow knitted a little lighter. In the first half of their marriage, they did not have a complete heart-to-heart relationship, so they were simply accommodating to each other. Whereas if the feelings went deeper, to get to each other’s hearts, it would inevitably go through a series of trials and tribulations. At first no one would let anyone in, but in the end it was repeatedly accommodated because of love.

This was the nature of love and marriage, there was no absolute match between lovers.

“Then you mustn’t just talk about it.” Su Qiuzi apparently weakened. If He Yu was willing to change, she was also willing to give him this opportunity.

No sooner had she finished speaking than she could feel the muscular lines of He Yu’s arms holding her loosen up a bit. But he still didn’t put her down and the two were frozen in place, as if he was making bargains.

“Then we shouldn’t live apart, how can you see that I corrected my mistakes if we live apart.” He Yu said in a shallow voice, his tone as gentle as water.

The man’s voice echoed in her ears, low and nice, Su Qiuzi’s heart softened up by half, she thought for a moment, it was true. But she hadn’t forgiven yet, nor could the two of them just turn the page over.

“I’ll stay at the Ranfeng Mansion for a while.” Su Qiuzi compromised, while making a request, she said, “But we sleep in separate beds.”

It was fine to live together, but not that intimately. Since we had to rectify it, let’s start from the beginning.

Right after she said that, she looked at He Yu. He Yu dropped his eyes and looked at her, then after a while, he smiled. The corners of the man’s lips were shallowly hooked up and his eyes were scattered with light, like they were filled with vast stars.

Su Qiuzi looked a little stunned, in fact, compared to the temperament of the cold handsome doctor, He Yu was such a warm and modest gentleman more to his liking. Actually she was a bit addicted to having intimate action with the man, but the moment she was lost in her thoughts, she was released.

Feet on the ground, Su Qiuzi came back to her senses, her back leaned against the car, her body was covered with He Yu’s breath.

“And, you have to ……”

Su Qiuzi still wanted to negotiate with him, however the rest of her words were blocked in his kiss. Both lips touched and the man’s crisp scent wrapped her up. The tingling sensation struck from the soft lips straight to the heart, Su Qiuzi’s hands were clinging to He Yu’s chest. She breathed heavily and did not push him away, but He Yu himself left first.

There was some sort of fireworks flaring in her eyes. Su Qiuzi’s throat moved slightly and her vision drifted away. She came back to her senses and looked at He Yu, her eyebrows furrowed angrily and said, “What are you doing?”

He Yu was much taller than her, he supported his arms on the roof of the car, circled her in his arms, smiled at her and said, “What do you think I’m doing?”

Su Qiuzi’s brows knitted tighter and she felt that the two just couldn’t be under the same roof. He Yu was no longer the old He Yu, he now tended to do everything by surprise. If this went on, the two of them would soon be sleeping in the same bed afterwards.

“I said, we are now in separate beds ……,” Su Qiuzi stressed again.

The girl’s voice was clear and sweet, her tone strong, yet somewhat unsteady at the bottom, when she spoke, like a kitten fiercely scratching its furry fist at his arm.

Just as she opened her mouth, He Yu kissed her again.

This time the kiss was deeper than the one just now and by the end of it, Su Qiuzi was leaning against the car, her brown eyes all wet. She looked at the still smiling gentle He Yu in front of her and felt an unprecedented sense of crisis. Yet after the sense of crisis, there was some heartwarming. Compared to the previous ones where he kissed her in a gentle fashion, it was apparent that this kind of unexpected kiss was now more intimate and more likely to feel his straightforwardness in love.

But this kiss, slowly changed the flavor.

He Yu started the kiss from her lips along her jawline, up to her ear. While her earlobe was already hot, the man’s lips were somewhat lukewarm. His teeth gently nibbled, little by little, to conquer her.

Su Qiuzi’s eyes were somewhat lax, in her ecstasy, the man’s breath sprayed on her ear, it was warm and wet. His voice felt like it was covered with a layer of vapor, coming across a thousand miles of water, low and magnetic.

“You only said bed-sharing, not that it’s not allowed in the car.”
