Boom! Boom! Boom!
Two buildings crashed down, manipulated by the X-type zombie, collapsing with a deafening roar, like a mountain collapsing and a deluge overwhelming everything. The impact was so immense that even the fearless zombies seemed insignificant under such an attack.
This was beyond the realm of human capability, almost mythical. In the face of such a terrifying X-type zombie, the red mutant parrot had already lost its voice, trembling in fear. Even Li Mu couldn't help but narrow his eyes, sensing the threat of death.
Heh heh!
A sinister laugh echoed from the X-type zombie's mouth. Li Mu's eyes turned extremely silver, and everything seemed to slow down in his vision. Suddenly, he moved, launching himself like a cannonball through the collapsing buildings. The black bone spines on his back swung, deflecting several concrete blocks weighing several tons. His body stretched out in the air, appearing slow but actually moving at an incredible speed. His left hand pressed down, using the collapsing building for leverage.
Li Mu moved like a hawk, darting through several concrete blocks in the air, charging towards the X-type zombie.
In response to Li Mu's attack, the X-type zombie let out a sinister laugh, clapping its hands together. The two buildings, which had fallen like mountains, instantly disintegrated in mid-air. Countless heavy concrete blocks rained down like cannonballs, covering the entire battlefield. Countless zombies didn't even have time to roar before being crushed into flesh and blood, forming rivers of blood.
The steel bars extracted from the two buildings, manipulated by the X-type zombie's hands, danced like snakes, whistling through the air, and shot towards Li Mu like laser bullets.
Li Mu's pupils contracted, his silver eyes becoming even more intense. His gaze, as if tangible, instantly enveloped the X-type zombie. The X-type zombie's movements to attack Li Mu slowed, its eyes becoming dull and vacant. It lowered its hands, and all the steel bars clattered to the ground.
In the face of Li Mu's mental control, even though this X-type zombie was already controlled by another king, this moment of mental confrontation between Li Mu and the king for control over the X-type zombie was enough to make the X-type zombie temporarily stiff, unable to launch an accurate attack.
The king let out an extremely angry scream, its eyes turning completely silver. The giant zombie, suspected to be an M4, which was guarding it, immediately roared, grabbing a car and throwing it at Li Mu.
Li Mu's face remained expressionless, a fierce bloodlight flashing in his eyes. His right hand, equipped with a bone knife, swung down with a sharp whistling sound, not dodging, but slashing down with the force of a mountain. The car was instantly split into two halves. If not for the car blocking the way, the X-type zombie would have been the one to be cut in half.
This move was swift and lightning-fast, leaving no time for reaction. Li Mu's slash missed, and the black bone spines on his back whistled, instantly deflecting the split car and thrusting towards the X-type zombie's forehead.
However, with this brief obstruction, dozens of zombies, under the king's control, fearlessly charged forward, blocking the path to the X-type zombie.
Pfft!
Li Mu's black bone spines were incredibly sharp, tearing through everything like a skewer, piercing through the dozens of charging zombies. The sharp bone spines were just a few centimeters away from the X-type zombie's forehead, but those few centimeters saved the X-type zombie's life.
Li Mu's ferocity was beyond the king's imagination, and it let out continuous screams, its voice filled with rage. Seizing this brief moment, it immediately controlled the X-type zombie to quickly retreat, not daring to let it charge forward, for fear of Li Mu's ruthless attack.
Seeing the X-type zombie retreat in fear, hiding in the midst of the zombie horde, Li Mu's face remained expressionless, his silver eyes flickering. His gaze shifted to the king, and he took a step forward without hesitation, charging towards the king.
Scream!
The king, having witnessed Li Mu's terrifying power and speed, which were different from its own, knew that if it faced Li Mu directly, it would only meet its end. It let out continuous screams, and a tangible sound wave spread out.
Zombie figures immediately flew up from the now completely ruined highway entrance, intercepting Li Mu. The giant zombie, suspected to be an M4, quickly moved its feet, carrying the king towards the city center of Canberra, hiding in the dense horde of zombies, not daring to face Li Mu's attack.
"Great King, mighty and powerful! Great King, the best! Great King, with both literary and martial virtues, unifying the world!"
The red mutant parrot screamed excitedly. It had thought that a strong dragon would not suppress a local snake, but Li Mu's strength was truly formidable, forcing the king to retreat into the depths of the city, not daring to face Li Mu's might.
Such prowess made the red mutant parrot feel honored, as if it were the one who had almost killed the X-type zombie and forced the king to retreat. It excitedly wiggled its butt on Li Mu's shoulder.
Li Mu's face remained expressionless, his gaze deep and cold. He watched the king retreat angrily into the horde of zombies, a hint of bloodlust flashing in his eyes. His gaze swept over the dense horde of zombies surging like a tide, but he did not pursue. Instead, he slowly raised his hand and made a sweeping motion in the air.
The undead army behind Li Mu immediately went berserk, charging into Canberra without hesitation along the destroyed highway entrance.
Li Mu strode forward, his eyes silver and cold. As he passed, the zombies that charged at him were pierced through the brain by the black bone spines on his back, instantly reduced to withered husks, without exception.
Without the king's leadership, even though the horde of zombies surged like a tide, they were nothing more than ants to Li Mu, the king of zombies.
This zombie war had already tilted in Li Mu's favor when the king dared not face him.
Even though the number of Li Mu's undead army was far less than the horde of zombies controlled by the king, without the king's leadership, wherever Li Mu passed, the gods bowed and the heroes submitted.
As Li Mu's silver eyes flickered, his mental control spread out without restraint. The zombies, which were originally controlled by the other king and charging towards Li Mu, stiffened, their eyes becoming vacant, and then suddenly turned around, charging towards the zombies behind them.
Such a defection, which might be rare in human battles, was a natural occurrence in this zombie war. As the other king fled a thousand meters away, hiding in the horde of zombies to avoid Li Mu's attack, it meant that the zombies it controlled could at any moment defect and turn against it under Li Mu's mental control.
Seeing the zombies, which were originally charging towards him, defect and join Li Mu's undead army, advancing into the heart of Canberra, the red mutant parrot was overwhelmed with excitement, realizing what the king truly represented. Even if he entered the city alone, as long as the zombies did not cease and the horde did not dissipate, the undead zombies wandering in the city would become Li Mu's fearless army.
No wonder, in the human classification, the king was listed as the top priority for elimination. One person was an army, a nation. Such an existence, with billions of zombies still remaining on Earth, was truly terrifying.
Scream!
A sharp scream echoed from the center of Canberra. The king, which had been forced to retreat by Li Mu, was extremely angry and unwilling, feeling its own zombies being controlled by Li Mu. Its gaze shifted to the X-type zombie.
The X-type zombie immediately roared, its eyes turning completely blood red, its body seeming to swell. With a forceful movement of its hands, buildings rose up with a deafening roar, an entire street collapsing. One building after another crashed down towards Li Mu's location.
