Chapter 5

After submitting his exam paper, Ji Tianyu still stood there in a daze, hardly believing what had happened to him.

The English teacher collected the papers and gave Ji Tianyu a deep look, her beautiful eyes full of confusion. Could it be that this student had suddenly become enlightened?

Dong Yu turned around and glanced at Ji Tianyu, asking in a low voice, "Ji Tianyu, how did you do?"

"Pretty good!" Ji Tianyu smiled.

"Hmm." In Dong Yu's mind, Ji Tianyu's "pretty good" meant he was just barely passing.

"It's May 1st this Sunday, let's go on a spring outing! If we miss this chance, the next time we gather will be at a class reunion in N years!" Shi Lei suggested. As the class president, Shi Lei had a purpose in mind. He had been infatuated with the quiet and beautiful Dong Yu since high school, but unfortunately, she was as hard as iron. With graduation approaching, if he made no progress, his first love would wither in the cradle.

Hearing the class president's suggestion, the previously listless high school seniors became excited as if they had been injected with adrenaline.

The bell rang, interrupting the students' discussion. "Alright, let's start class. I'll announce the spring outing location during the evening study session. Those who want to participate, sign up with me." Shi Lei sat down and glanced at Dong Yu, who showed no reaction.

"Spring outing? That's something for elementary school kids. How childish!" Qin Xue sneered.

The students around her all gave her a sideways glance. "Hehe, we want to play like adults, but we don't have the ability!" Cheng Dong replied from a distance, then deliberately pinched his neck and made a long "Uh..." sound.

Seeing him mimic Qin Xue's awkward moment poorly, many students laughed without giving her any face.

"You!" Qin Xue's face turned cold, her thin eyebrows arching as she was about to lash out. Fighting and cursing were second nature to Qin Xue, who had grown up among thugs. "Hehe," but then her expression softened, and she laughed. "You greenhorn, do you even know what 'Uh...'" means?"

"What's wrong with being a greenhorn? At least I'm fresher than a rotten peach!"

"Who are you calling a rotten peach?" This remark infuriated Qin Xue. Even though it was a well-known fact, being called out in front of everyone was still embarrassing. She stood up abruptly, turned around, and glared at Cheng Dong with fiery eyes, like a fierce female beast. Her large chest rose and fell with her rapid breathing, making the greenhorns around her dizzy.

Not wanting to lose face, Cheng Dong took a deep breath to calm his racing heart and was about to counter.

"East, don't say anything more." Ji Tianyu interrupted Cheng Dong before he could speak. Arguing with a girl wasn't worth it.

"A real man doesn't fight with a woman!" Cheng Dong mumbled but didn't continue to confront Qin Xue.

Seeing that Cheng Dong had stopped talking, Qin Xue, without an opponent, reluctantly sat back down, giving Ji Tianyu a glance. She saw that he was still the same, head down, flipping through a book.

Although Dong Yu didn't have a good impression of Qin Xue, the verbal spat in class was still very off-putting to her as the study committee member. Ji Tianyu's words had stopped the argument, and Dong Yu couldn't help but glance at him.

Ji Tianyu, who had been buried in his book, felt Dong Yu's movement and, intentionally or unintentionally, met her gaze. Dong Yu, caught off guard, was momentarily stunned. Then, she realized that Ji Tianyu's clear eyes seemed to see into her soul.

A wave of red washed over her face, even extending to her slender neck. She turned away hurriedly, her heart racing, and pressed her hand to her chest to try to calm it.

Seeing Dong Yu's adorable deer-like appearance, Ji Tianyu couldn't help but chuckle softly. He noticed that even her small, white ears had turned red.

Qin Xue saw every detail of this scene. This boy, who showed no interest in her beauty, was so special to that bookworm who only knew how to study. She glared at the two of them and huffed.

Qin Xue's cold huff made Dong Yu's back stiffen. For Qin Xue, it didn't matter if the whole class saw her intimate moment with a boy, but for Dong Yu, being seen blushing and heart racing because of a boy was embarrassing.

Dong Yu's stiff back made Ji Tianyu's gaze turn cold, and the warmth in his eyes disappeared. He gave Qin Xue a cold look.

Ji Tianyu's sudden change in attitude severely wounded Qin Xue's pride, who was used to being pursued by boys. "Ji Tianyu, just wait, one day I'll make you my slave," she gritted her teeth and muttered to herself.

Ji Tianyu, however, was completely unaware that he had been marked. During the class, Qin Xue's arm occasionally crossed the middle line of the desk, pressing onto Ji Tianyu's side.

"Damn, she wouldn't let me cross the line this morning, but now she's over here." Although he grumbled inwardly, Ji Tianyu moved to one side and didn't protest Qin Xue's overreach.

Idiot! Qin Xue cursed inwardly.

Seeing Ji Tianyu's wooden reaction, Qin Xue came up with another plan. If you're a dead pool, I'll make you boil.

Sitting up straight, Qin Xue twirled a pen in her hand, pretending to accidentally drop it under Ji Tianyu's desk. Before Ji Tianyu could bend down to pick it up, Qin Xue leaned over toward him. The faint scent of roses from her head filled the space between them, forcing Ji Tianyu to lean back in his chair. A quick glance revealed that Qin Xue's low-cut school uniform zipper was open, exposing a round-necked, low-cut top. From above, the top edge of her light purple bra was clearly visible, with two-thirds of her tender flesh exposed and a deep cleavage extending downward... Even though she had been intimate with boys before, her young body was still fresh and had a unique charm.

Ji Tianyu swallowed quietly, his heart racing. What is she doing? Trying to seduce me?

Qin Xue, leaning between Ji Tianyu and the desk, naturally heard his swallowing and rapid heartbeat. Satisfied, she smiled. No man had ever been indifferent to her impressive figure.

Pretending to bend down and feel around, she still didn't grab the pen.
