Nan Fengyan’s car broke down on the street, near Mo Corp’s office.

“F*ck! How can a few million-dollar car break down so easily!” Nan Fengyan cursed. He lifted his gaze to stare at the Mo Corps building. Luckily, it’s just a few steps away. He got out of the car and called a car servicing workshop while walking toward the Mo Corp office.

“Young Master Nan!” The receptionist immediately greeted him with a smile when she saw him coming in.

“Xiao Ya, is Mo-ge upstairs?” Nan Fengyan smiled as he asked the receptionist while staring at her with his charming eyes.

“Yes, he’s in.” Although the receptionist is very familiar with Nan Fengyan, she can’t help but blush every time she sees him,

Nan Fengyan was known for his playboy reputation. He drew a stalk of flower from the inner pocket of his suit and gifted it to the receptionist, “This is for you.”

The receptionist let out a smile delightfully and accepted the flower, “Thank you, Young Master Nan.”

She placed the flower into the vase in front of her. Nan Fengyan enjoys giving flowers to others, and they are all artificial flowers. The vase in front of the reception desk is almost full of flowers.

“I’ll head upstairs. I’ll call you out another day.” Nan Fengyan handsomely walked past her and made his way toward the lift.

Nan Fengyan is a close friend of Mo Beichen. It’s just natural that he felt at home when he was at Mo Corps.

Xu Wei coincidently walked out from the lift and saw Nan Fengyan. He was a bit surprised, “Young Master Nan, it’s been a while since we last met.”

“I just came back from overseas!” Before Nan Fengyan even said anything, Xu Wei already helped him to press the button to the top level before he exited the lift, “President Mo is in the office. I have other matters to attend to, so I’ll get going.”

When Nan Fengyan walked into the president’s office, he saw Mo Beichen burying his head in a pile of documents. He sat on the couch and said,” I knew it. Besides attending meetings outside, you’ll be inside your office. Don’t you ever get bored?“

Mo Beichen said without lifting his head,” You’re back?“

“Just reached.” Nan Fengyan continued,” How about you go for a drink with me tonight?“

Before Mo Beichen could reply, his phone rang. It was from Xia Weilan.

“Hubby, I”ll be cooking dinner tonight. What time will you be home?“

Mo Beichen lifted his brows.

Since when did Xia Weilan become such a dedicated wife to even cook a meal?

He didn’t want to miss the opportunity, thus he replied, “I’ll be home soon.”

Nan Fengyan opened his mouth wide as he stared at Mo Beichen in disbelief. He couldn’t help but complain, “Mo-ge, how could you choose lust over friendship!“

“You could too, as long as you have lust.” Mo Beichen put away his phone and continued to review some documents.

“It seemed like I came here for nothing.” Nan Fengyan stood up. “Lend me your car, mine just broke down.”

Mo Beichen picked up the key on his desk and tossed it to him.

Nan Fengyan turned around and was about to walk out. Mo Beichen suddenly called him, “Come for dinner at my place tonight.”

“No thanks. I suddenly recalled that there’s something I need to attend to.” Nan Fengyan walked out after he finished his words. At first, he thought of inviting everyone, including Rui Li for a drink. It seemed like he had to go find her himself.

After he left Mo Corp, the black Maybach drove off like a gust of wind toward the street. Nan Fengyan pulled up near Rui Li house and called her to ask her out.

However, he didn’t expect that nobody would answer the phone.

Nan Fengyan was curious, so he tried calling again. But still, no one answered.

Meanwhile, a group of people appeared at Rui Li’s house. They were all holding a bat in their hands. By right, Rui Li is able to take them down, but she’s now on the losing end. Thus, she could only clench her teeth and let those lofty hooligans flip around her belongings in the house.

Rui Li’s phone that was left on the table rang. The phone was in front of one of the hooligans. He picked up the phone and yelled, “Stop calling! I’ll beat the sh*t out of you if you dare to call again.”

After he finished yelling, he stared at Rui Li furiously, “When are you going to pay? Your father owed us thirty million and the payment is due!“

“I’ve told you, give me two more days. I’ll sell the company to pay you back!” Rui Li’s face remains calm.

“Do you think I’ll believe what you said? Do I look like a fool to you?“ The hooligan knocked the bat on the table, intending to frighten Rui Li. He didn’t expect that Rui Li still showed a calm and cold expression. It wasn’t usual for girls at her age to have that sort of expression.

“F*ck, I’ll beat the sh*t out of you till you pay!“ After the hooligan finished his words, he swung his bat toward Rui Li. However, someone grabbed his bat from the back,”Stop!“

Everyone turned their attention to the person who appeared out of nowhere. They saw Nan Fengyan grab the bat and throw it hard on the floor. He then walked straight up to Rui Li, protecting her behind him.

Rui Li stared at his frail back profile but kept quiet.

“Isn’t this about money? I’ll pay for what she owes you!

“I don’t need you to help me!” Rui Li tugged Nan Fengyan’s sleeve when she heard his words. She really doesn’t like to owe others. She owed Mo Beichen for his help last time. This time, she really doesn’t want to owe anyone anymore. As long as she manages to sell the company, she’ll be able to gather some cash soon.

The lofty guy stared at Nan Fengyan and immediately said, “30 million dollars, it’ll be 31 million including interest!”

Nan Fengyan took out his cheque book from his pocket and filled in the amount without batting an eye. He passed the lofty guy the cheque, “Now, get lost!”

The hooligans left. Nan Fengyan frowned as he looked around the house that was now in a mess. He didn’t stare at Rui Li, but just said calmly, “How did you get yourself into this?”

More importantly, she didn’t even tell him even though things were already out of hand.

“Ahem, thank you. I’ll pay you back in a few days.”

Nan Fengyan wanted to tell her that there’s no need for her to pay him. But he knew Rui Li too well, she liked to set things clear with others. The words that came out from his mouth changed the topic suddenly, “It seems like it’s not convenient for me to hang out here today. Come, I’ll treat you to dinner.”

“Let’s go!” Rui Li walked out first.

Rui Li was a little startled when she saw the black Maybach parked at the side of the road. But she quickly walked over and the both of them went to a famous restaurant in Beijing.

This is a famous couple restaurant. Rui Li pretended that she didn’t know this. The atmosphere in the room suddenly became very awkward as both of them went silent.

“Thank you for your help today!” Rui Li suddenly looked at Nan Fengyan with a serious expression.

Nan Fengyan couldn’t help but tease her when he saw her earnest expression, “How do you intend to repay me?”

“Just tell me what you want me to do. I’ll do it.”
