CH 166

Shattering sound coming from inside of the room. Nan Fengyan frowned and immediately got someone to open the door.

He quickly rushed in, only to find that the room was pitch black. Underneath the hazy ray cast by the moonlight, he saw that Rui Li was sitting on the floor surrounded by a lot of wine bottles.

Nan Fengyan flipped on the light switch and stared at the scene in front of his eyes in disbelief.

Rui Li was never drunk before. But at this instant, she had secretly drunk so much and was already delirious.

“What’s the matter with you?” Nan Fengyan made his way around the wine bottles on the floor. He squatted down and placed his hands around Rui Li’s shoulders.

Rui Li shook her head in a daze. Nan Fenyan wasn’t sure if she was talking to him or she’s just muttering to herself, “It’s obvious that there’s no ending between us. Is there a reason for us to even start?”

When she finished her words, a rare glimpse of sadness flashed across Rui Li’s face.

“Who are you referring to?” Nan Fengyan felt a stab in his heart when he realized that Rui Li might have fallen for someone.

He stared into her eyes earnestly, seeking an answer.

But the next second, Rui Li fell into his arms.

Nan Fengyan was stunned. He held her in his arms, feeling her warmth in his arms. However, his heart grew colder.

He shook Rui Li gently, but she was already out cold.

He stood up and walked away without any expression on his face. When he was already at the door, he turned around and went into the bathroom, and wet a towel. He went in front of Rui Li and wiped her face gently. He then held her wrists and wiped her hand tenderly.

After that, he helped Rui Li to get to the bed and placed the quilt over her

After Nan Fengyan did that, he stared blankly at the bottles of wine on the floor..

He sat on the sofa with an unreadable expression.

Suddenly, the sound of someone murmuring in their sleep was heard in the silent room.

Nan Fengyan’s eyebrows twitched when he heard Rui Li talking in her dream with her eyebrows tied into a knot.

He got near to her and heard that she was actually saying, “Nan Fengyan, Nan Fengyan.”

Nan Fengyan’s eyes brightened. He grabbed Rui Li’s arm and wanted to hear her better. However, the room had once again become silent.

His heart was racing and all he could see was her sleeping face. He stared at her quietly. However, he couldn’t refrain himself and he secretly lowered his head and sealed her lips. He didn’t dare to exert much force but just licked her lips gently.

He knew he shouldn’t be doing this now, but he really couldn’t help it. He reached his hands under the blanket and gently slid them around her waist, caressing her tenderly.

He didn’t want to wake her, but he didn’t want to let her go either.

As Nan Fengyan started to deepen the kiss uncontrollably, Rui Li shifted her body and slowly opened her eyes.

Nan Fengyan was startled and he lowered his gaze to look at her.

Luckily, Rui Li was in a daze. She only opened her eyes subconsciously and slowly closed her eyes.

Nan Fengyan felt his heart almost jump out of his throat. He was trembling badly.

He remained quiet for a long while and he slowly stood up.

He had been too impulsive just now.

If Rui Li found out that he had done this to her while she was drunk, perhaps, she would despise him and curse him for being a villain who is worse than an animal!

Nan Fengyan walked to the door and took another glance at Rui Li. He closed the door gently behind him.

The next day.

When Rui Li woke up, she found herself lying on the bed in an awkward position, and there were wine bottles scattered on the floor.

Rui Li frowned and got up. She tried to recall how she got so drunk. But in the end, she could only remember that she was very upset yesterday and started to drink a lot. However, she had no recollection of what happened after that.

After she finished washing up, she walked out of her room and saw Nan Fengyan walking out from his room opposite to hers too.

She greeted him as usual, “Good morning!”

Nan Fengyan let out a weird smile and shifted his gaze and walked forward.

Rui Li was a little surprised by his reaction but she followed behind him.

After they took their breakfast, the four of them got off the cruise ship together.

It was very quiet at the pier. This huge cruise ship docked quietly and many passengers had already disembarked the ship.

Xia Weilan and Mo Beichen walked together.

While Nan Fengyan and Rui Li walked together.

On the ship, Ouyang Mingqi stood quietly like a statue beside the guardrail of the ship. He watched the crowd disembarking with cold eyes.

When Xia Ruolin was about to disembark the ship, she saw Ouyang Mingqi standing there. She followed his gaze and immediately saw who he was looking at -Xia Weilan, the person who irritated her the most.

“Why are you here? Nan Fengyan willing to let you go?” Xia Weilan looked at her with a smile.

“Why? Aren’t you supposed to be happy that I come back to you?” Rui Li said this deliberately as she lightly placed her hand on Xia Weilan’s shoulder.

“You’re most welcome! I’m not used to not having you by my side.” Xia Weilan smiled as they walked into the campus.

Xia Weilan led the girl to the classroom door and then walked towards the sophomore classroom with Rui Li.
