“That’s right!” The class monitor read Xia Weilan’s mind. She said, “At first, I thought that the list was wrong, So I personally check with the chairman of the student union, Fan Ming. He said that there’s nothing wrong with the list. I’m not kidding.”

“It seems that someone clearly appreciated your talent.” Rui Li also looked at the list. She also agreed that there’s nothing wrong with Xia Weilan taking up the role of the Head of the Corporate Service Department with her capability.

“Weilan, come to the student union meeting with me after school, in the evening.” The class monitor said to her.

Although Xia Weilan was still puzzled, she did not reject her.

That evening, the moment Xia Weilan walked into the conference room with the class monitor, the bustling room suddenly fell silent.

It wasn’t only because of Xia Weilan’s special relationship with Mo Beichen, but also because as a new member of the student union, she was directly promoted to Head of the Corporate Service department. Everyone stared at Rui Li in surprise. They didn’t expect an ordinary college student would have such a background. They looked at Rui Li differently now.

Sun Meimei was speechless. She sat across them sulking.

Then the new members who came in later were a little stunned to find that the conference room was so quiet. They walked in cautiously. After a while, some people began to chat again and the incident earlier on was slowly forgotten.

Fan Ming showed up when most of the people were already there. He was totally unaware that there had been an argument in the conference room just now.

Fan Ming sat in the president’s seat. Everyone waited for him to speak. He said faintly, “Congratulations to the new members for joining the student union. In another two days, we will hold a welcome party. This event will be organized by the Corporate Service Department. The rest of the departments shall cooperate with them. Weilan, we trust that you will do well in this.”

Fan Ming truly respected Xia Weilan. The other members of the student union all looked at Xia Weilan.
