The National Aeronautics and Space Administration, abbreviated as NASA, also known as the U.S. Space Agency, is an administrative scientific research institution of the U.S. federal government responsible for formulating and implementing the U.S. space program and conducting aeronautical and space science research.

Its most famous and well-known project is the "Apollo Moon Landing Program."

However, on August 11, 2013, a 92-meter-tall, 2,700-ton monster called "Fisthead" emerged near the Golden Gate Bridge through a wormhole, destroying three cities in San Francisco. Initially, the U.S. military and the British Royal Air Force conducted extensive bombings on "Fisthead" for a week with no effect. In the end, they had to drop three nuclear bombs to eliminate "Fisthead."

The blood of "Fisthead" directly contaminated Oakland, turning it into a dead city.

Everyone thought it was just a sudden incident involving a mutated creature like Godzilla, but six months later, a second monster attacked Manila, making everyone realize that the appearance of monsters was not a one-off event.

Subsequent analysis by scientists revealed that the first wave of monster attacks was a suicidal nature, "Fire at Me," and conventional human weapons had no effect on them. While nuclear bombs could eliminate them, they would also trigger the release of large amounts of toxins from their bodies.

This was a "natural selection" behavior, using suicide to alter the Earth's atmosphere, soil, and water, leading to the extinction of Earth's life forms.

In other words, although nuclear bombs could kill a certain number of giants, humans would die off before the giants were completely exterminated.

Therefore, a joint defense system, the "Pacific Rim United Defense Forces," was established by 21 countries, including the United States, China, Japan, Russia, Chile, Canada, Australia, and South Korea. The purpose was to create giant mechs to physically attack the monsters, causing internal bleeding and death, thus preventing the release of toxins into the atmosphere.

In this survival crisis, a large amount of funding was redirected to the "Pacific Rim United Defense Forces" to manufacture mechs to combat the monsters.

As a result, the once flourishing National Aeronautics and Space Administration was left with only basic maintenance and no longer had the funds to initiate space programs.

The space agency had almost become a place for monitoring Earth's "safety."

One day, an alarm suddenly sounded in the space agency, with red warning lights flashing continuously.

Robert, who had just made coffee, was startled and spilled the hot coffee on his hand, causing him to wince in pain. He steadied his arm, put down the coffee, and took out a black printed handkerchief from his pocket to wipe the scalded area. While wiping, he walked into the satellite monitoring hall filled with screens.

"What's happening?" Robert asked the satellite monitoring director, Gale, his eyes fixed on the large screen where the friction-induced flames completely enveloped the "meteorite" as it fell toward the ground.

"Director, the reconnaissance satellite detected a 'meteorite' suddenly appearing in the stratosphere, about 45 kilometers above the ground," Director Gale answered.

"Suddenly appeared?"

Robert's eyebrows furrowed in confusion. Suddenly appeared?

How could it suddenly appear? The United States has nearly 3,000 artificial satellites orbiting the Earth, almost monitoring the entire globe. If a meteorite appeared hundreds of thousands of kilometers away in space and posed a threat to Earth, it would be detected by the satellites, and its trajectory would be calculated. Whether to destroy it with missiles would depend on the size of the meteorite and the threat level of its landing site.

So, it was almost impossible for a meteorite to suddenly appear in the stratosphere without being detected by the monitoring satellites.

"How is this possible!" Gale, who was checking the satellite records, covered his temples with both hands, his eyes wide with disbelief.

"My God."

"Am I seeing things?"

"Damn, I don't think you are."

"Maybe we're seeing God."

"How is this possible? It can't be."

"God..."

Many of the operators looked at the satellite records pulled up by Director Gale. At first glance, they saw a human-like figure appearing in the stratosphere. The image was not clear, but it was still discernible as a human.

One of the operators, unable to believe it, loudly said, "It might just be a meteorite that happens to be human-shaped. It's not that unusual."

But this was quickly refuted.

"It has a nose and eyes." Although the image was not very clear, it was still evident that the "meteorite" had a nose, eyes, and limbs, with a pale complexion, which did not resemble a rock at all.

He is not a meteorite.

The space agency fell silent, so quiet that a pin could be heard dropping.

Director Robert was stunned for a moment, the image of the human-like figure still lingering in his mind. No one could fathom how a person could end up in the stratosphere or how they could suddenly appear there.

"Slow down the footage by 10 times. I want to see how it appeared," Robert shouted, still in shock, quickly regaining his composure.

Director Gale immediately operated the controls, slowing down the footage by 10 times.

In the footage, the figure suddenly appeared and then fell like a meteorite under the influence of Earth's gravity.

"50 times!" Robert shouted again.

The footage was slowed down further, but the figure still appeared suddenly, without any warning.

"Zoom in to the maximum, Gale. I want to see the frame just before it appeared," Robert shouted, the surreal scene causing him some inner fear and hysteria.

Gale quickly operated the controls.

This time, it was as if time had frozen, the world paused. Suddenly, a vortex appeared, the figure emerged, and the vortex disappeared, all very quickly. Even at the slowest speed, the vortex vanished in an instant.

"It's a wormhole!"

"An extraterrestrial visitor?"

"My God."

"It can't be, it can't be!"

"Physical body through a wormhole?"

The space agency erupted in chaos, with everyone seeing the obvious vortex wormhole, which, despite its brief appearance, had only been there to deliver one person.

This scene was challenging the psychological limits of many personnel.

Those who worked at the space agency were all highly educated individuals, well aware that creating a wormhole was something Earth could not achieve.

A human passing through a wormhole...

How is this possible!

A human passing through a wormhole?

Am I witnessing an extraterrestrial visitor, or the arrival of God?

"Director, the 'meteorite' has accelerated to 2 Mach, with no signs of deceleration or material loss, heading toward the Pacific Rim United Defense Forces' Anchorage base in Alaska," an operator reported, having calculated the landing site of the "meteorite."

"Alert the general at the Anchorage base in Alaska."

"Contact the President."

Despite the shock and confusion, Robert still gave the correct commands, his eyes wide with surprise, fixed on the falling meteorite on the screen.

"It can't be, it has already accelerated to 2 Mach."

"How can a human body withstand such speed and friction?"

"Over 1 Mach, human flesh would separate from the bones, and the friction heat would burn the bones to ash."

"He should have been completely worn away by friction in the air while accelerating to 2 Mach."

"This is not logical."

"Unless he has a steel body."
