The next day, as noon approached, Su Peng arrived at the base of a skyscraper with over twenty floors.

"Sky One Studio, Tianpeng Property, 7th floor." Su Peng glanced at the newspaper in his hand, which indicated the recruitment location as this building.

"Truly wealthy and powerful... The rent for one floor here must be several hundred thousand a year... For an ordinary studio, wouldn't renting a residential place be enough?" Su Peng thought to himself as he looked at the building in the city center. This company didn't seem like a scam, so Su Peng took a deep breath and walked into the skyscraper.

Entering the building and taking the elevator to the 7th floor, Su Peng stepped out and immediately saw a group of people supporting each other, gagging as they emerged from the bulletproof glass door marked with "Sky One Studio."

A receptionist appeared and asked Su Peng, "Sir, are you here for the game proxy recruitment?"

"Um, yes." Su Peng nodded. The receptionist waved her hand and said, "Please come this way."

Su Peng followed her inside. The receptionist used a card to open the bulletproof glass door, and Su Peng walked in. He found that the inside was divided into several rooms. The receptionist stopped and said to Su Peng, "Please wait here, then enter the rooms one by one for the interview. You are not allowed to talk to other applicants during this time."

Su Peng nodded, found a seat, and sat down, observing his surroundings.

He noticed that the company's corridor was filled with security guards. Su Peng even saw a few foreigners who looked like they were of Caucasian descent, extremely tall and muscular, giving off an aura of formidable strength.

"This company is really powerful..." Su Peng thought to himself.

After waiting for a while, just as Su Peng was starting to feel bored, the door to the first interview room suddenly opened. A man wearing glasses came out, glanced at Su Peng, and said, "You can come in now."

Su Peng followed the man with glasses into the room and saw two computers inside.

"Let me see your resume. You can start the test over there," the man with glasses, who had a doctor-like demeanor, said. He then pulled up a test on one of the computers for Su Peng.

Su Peng took a look. Besides entering some personal information, most of the test was psychological, with some personal health reports. Su Peng hadn't seen these questions before, but from the feel of the test, it seemed to be a highly precise professional test.

In addition to these, there were also some intelligence and creativity tests, which were not easy but sparked Su Peng's competitive spirit, and he began to work on them seriously.

No one knew that the car accident years ago, besides causing Su Peng to develop a rare condition where he didn't need to sleep, had also caused a tissue mutation in his brain.

In Su Peng's brain, there was a section that would be mistaken for a tumor on an X-ray, but it was actually a unique mutated tissue.

This brain tissue allowed Su Peng's mind to function like a biological hard drive, capable of instantly memorizing about 40MB of data.

Therefore, ordinary memory-related intelligence tests were no problem for Su Peng.

Combined with his decent intelligence, Su Peng quickly completed the test.

At the end of the test was a survey asking about the applicant's gaming experience. Su Peng had no issues and filled it out.

"235 points, a very high score," the man with glasses, who looked like a doctor, said. He then asked, "How is your physical condition? Do you get motion sickness? Also, how do you feel after staying awake for a long time? And most importantly, have you ever had any supernatural experiences?"

Su Peng found the last question a bit strange. Did they need supernatural experiences for the job? Were they looking for a medium?

After some thought, he replied, "I am physically and mentally robust. I usually don't get too tired from staying up late. As for supernatural experiences? I'd like to have them, but I've never encountered any."

"Good, you can go to the second interview room now." The doctor-like man gave Su Peng a form and directed him to the second interview room.

When Su Peng entered the second interview room, he was surprised to find a set of pilot testing equipment inside.

"This is..." Su Peng had attended a high school that was also an aviation college. He had done similar tests before, so he was familiar with the equipment. He asked the person in the room.

"Just some physical tests, very simple," the person in the room said, taking the form and having Su Peng sit on the equipment.

After more than half an hour, Su Peng finally completed the test.

His balance was excellent, and he had no major issues with the equipment, but it made him feel even more puzzled.

"What kind of game requires a pilot's balance and physical condition?" Su Peng couldn't help but wonder.

"Alright, now you can go to the third test room," the person in the room said, filling out a form and handing it to Su Peng.

Curious, Su Peng went to the third test room and found a set of X-ray-like equipment inside, which he was asked to enter.

"This is a mental stress test to see if you can handle this level of information," the tester said, guiding Su Peng to the equipment.

Once inside, Su Peng realized that the equipment was a cylindrical chamber filled with screens. He was strapped to a metal frame and continuously rolled from side to side, experiencing a 360-degree aerial perspective, which was extremely disorienting.

Su Peng noticed that the screens around him displayed various supernatural images.

"Why am I so unimpressed... Is this company specializing in horror games?" Su Peng thought to himself, then observed the surroundings. "The information density on these screens is very high..."

He recalled a psychology lecture he had attended, where the lecturer showed a complex photo with multiple people and a special photo of just blue sky and white clouds, stating that the latter contained tens of thousands of times more information than the former.

Based on his guess, the images around Su Peng were of this high-density information.

The feeling was like having hundreds of people talking to you, trying to cram all their information into your brain.

However, perhaps due to his unique brain structure, Su Peng only felt a moderate level of pressure from this test.

The strange feeling, however, became even more intense.

After thirty minutes, the test ended.

"You can return to the initial room," the tester said, filling out a form and handing it to Su Peng.

After the three tests, Su Peng returned to the first interview room and waited.

Soon, the door to the first interview room opened, and a security guard called Su Peng in.

"Very good, Mr. Su. You have passed our tests with excellent results. If you have no objections, you are hired. Your base salary is 8,000 yuan, and you will receive bonuses for each virtual asset you submit. After signing the agreement, you will be a member of our company," the man with glasses, who had a doctor-like demeanor, said, standing up and shaking Su Peng's hand.

Su Peng felt relieved, shook hands with the doctor, and took the agreement the doctor handed him.

"Game characters must not die. Death is considered automatic resignation, and you will receive your monthly salary and leave the company."

"All in-game items are owned by the company. Players only have usage rights, not ownership rights."

"Outside of working hours, employees must stay in the company-provided dormitories and are not allowed to go out except on rest days."

"Discussing the company's games with anyone outside of work is prohibited. If the game's secrets are leaked, the company reserves the right to claim up to 10 million yuan in damages."
