Shao Han: “…Okay.”

As soon as he said this word, a vast string of commenters swept through the barrage of Shao Han’s livestream.

[???? Shao ge is playing support????]

[WTF, the Titans’s captain reputation can even make Shao ge play support?]

[←Is his reputation as the Asia champion and his fourth place in the global ranking not enough for you?]

[Why are we always seeing God Sen on Shao ge’s livestream these days lololol]

[These days, Sen fans have all become fans of Xiao Zuo hhh God Sen is squatting in Xiao Zuo’s stream]

[There’s also my Xi ge and Yue ge, I have a hunch that this livestream will make the list again]

[God Sen’s voice is so nice aaaaaaaaaaaahh I’m pregnant]

[Shao Ge’s voice is also super nice, so cool and icy that I want to knock him up]

[OP above, hold on a second???]

[So rounding it up, God Sen wants to knock Shao ge up?]

[Fuck that rounding up bullshit!]

[HAHAHAHAHAHAHA stop it, Shao ge is thin-skinned]

Wang Yuxi’s voice resounded: “Play support for Yao Sen to make me die an ugly death? Shao ge, don’t be like this.”

Yao Sen: “Fine.”

[HHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH]

[Why do I want to laugh every time Xi ge opens his mouth]

[You’re not alone]

[I’m betting on Xi ge’s ugly death tonight]

[Sen ge’s answer is too sharp hahaha!]

[Doesn’t it feel like God Sen teaming up with my Shao was premeditated?]

Naturally, Yao Sen didn’t know that Shao Han had already been executed by the barrage on his side and directly said that they could start the game.

The last time he duo queued with Shao Han, he had used his side account, Five Elements Lack Wood. He had already experienced the taste of being a noob who won without needing to lift a single finger, and even got inadvertently sprayed by Grass Powder*. This time, Yao Sen confidently displayed his skills and operation, and his cooperation with Shao Han was surprisingly tacit.

*the name of Shao Han’s fans, if you’ve forgotten

Thirty teams were up in the first match, and it wasn’t long before Yao Sen saw an extremely coquettish player at a tower in the distance. He still had ample health; this player was no one if not Wang Yuxi. If it weren’t for the fact that Yao Sen currently didn’t have a sniper with a long enough range in his hands, he would have directly blown him up in one shot.

In a team, especially a team composed of four people or more, most of the time, a support’s role was either to divert the firepower or observe the entire playing field and provide the enemy’s location for assaults. On top of that, they had to cover the assault and received a greater damage than an assault would.

Although Shao Han was an offensive player, he wasn’t the least bit hesitant when playing support. The only thing that Yao Sen wasn’t used to was the fact that Shao Han covered his left due to his own hand-related habits, while Yao Sen wanted to run to the right.

After a dozen minutes or so, most of the players had been cleaned up, and only three or four teams reamined.

When the two of them reached the grasslands, Shao Han was abruptly shot in the shoulder. His health immediately dropped by a third. Shao Han quickly rolled behind a tree trunk to conceal his body, drank an energy drink to restore his health, then turned to take two shots at his opponent. Unfortunately, he missed.

Yao Sen: “Who hit you?”

“I don’t know.”

Not long ago, the Titans’s main team had trained to launch a sneak attack through the bushes. Combined with Wang Yuxi’s shot-dodging skills, Yao Sen felt that it was most likely Wang Yuxi who had shot Shao Han.

Yao Sen: “Hold on a second.”

Suddenly, Yao Sen turned off his mic and called Wang Yuxi over WeChat. Unexpectedly, Wang Yuxi quickly picked up. “What’s up?”

“Was it you who hit Shao Han just now?”

“Yeah.”

“Is hitting a support considered skillful?”

“Fuck! Who was it that told us to keep an eye on Shen You the other day?”

“Not me, I didn’t do that,” Yao Sen lied through his teeth. “Don’t shoot him, just come at me.”

“Lao-ge, I can’t shoot you. Or, why don’t you just stand there and let me?”

“No.”

“Hey, I have a violent temper. I’m gonna take Shao ge’s head today.”

Yao Sen hung up and turned on his mic again. “Sorry for the wait.”

When he saw that Yao Sen had suddenly turned off his mic as well as his unmoving character, Shao Han was somewhat bewildered. From that moment on, he was continuously surveying their surroundings to protect him. Only when he saw that Yao Sen was back did he say, “What’s wrong?”

Yao Sen: “It’s nothing, I just voice called Wang Yuxi for a bit and told him not to shoot you.”

[??? Sen ge, you—]

[?????? This is definitely a fake God Sen!!!!]

[Fuck me, “Don’t shoot him” what kind of scene is this?]

[Fuckin’ Sue*!!!]

*from mary sue; unrealistic

[AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH if there’s a man like this, just marry him]

[SenZuo’s stocks has gone up]

Shao han subconsciously felt that Yao Sen was probably only joking, but he still couldn’t help the furtive blushing of his ears. He stared up at his computer’s webcam, pondering whether he should find a chance to turn it off.

A few minutes later, only two teams were left in the entire game, and no one on either team had died yet. Yao Sen and Shao Han arrived at a barn and waited inside with baited breath, hiding their figures. Soon, two figures slowly advanced in their direction.

When one of the figures moved towards the window, the muzzle of their gun swept towards it. Yao Sen rolled over and jumped out of the window, pushing the other party to the ground and directly firing three shots at their head. The first two shots shattered the enemy’s helmet, and the third shot thoroughly finished them off.

These actions were done in one go, not the least bit sloppy, and the entire process took a mere half second. Shao Han caught a single flash of Yao Sen’s shadow before an elimination notice appeared on the game interface.

Shao Han shivered with awe at the speed and smoothness of his ambush. No matter how fast the other’s reaction was, they would’ve still probably taken at least two bullets.

[Titans_Sen successfully eliminated Titans_Yue. Remaining number of players: 3]

Yao Sen: “Oh, it was Bai Yue. My bad, I thought it was Lao-Wang.”

[???? Hold on, what happened just now??]

[Where’s the replay???]

[I blinked once… God Sen disappeared and Yue ge died]

[Yue ge died unjustly, but I… HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA]

[Yue ge: ???]

Yao Sen looked around. It was reasonable to assume that Bai Yue, as Wang Yuxi’s support, should be defending Wang Yuxi’s surroundings at all times. Yet right then, Bai Yue was all alone.

Yao Sen looked up to see Shao Han approaching the window and immediately shouted, “Shao Han! Stay away from the window!”

As soon as Yao Sen’s voice resounded, a sniper bullet suddenly whizzed from the distance and hit Shao Han in the chest. Shao Han heard Yao Sen and dodged in time; the bullet narrowly missed a critical body part, but Shao Han’s health dropped by eighty percent nonetheless.

Wang Yuxi, an expert in close range combat, unexpectedly played a trick on them by making Bai Yue act as bait while he sniped them from afar. Witnessing Wang Yuxi’s usual display of arrogance for so long almost made Yao Sen forget that the guy could snipe, so he instantly switched over to a sniper rifle and jumped out the window.

Shao Han didn’t have many first aid kits, and he could only use bandages to slowly refill his health bar. At his current health, he was bound to get knocked out if he took another shot, but he still chose to follow Yao Sen out. A support would not hesitate to to block shots for the main assault when necessary.

Yao Sen switched from the team voice chat to the all chat. “Lao-Wang, come out.”

[I was wondering how God Sen was going to find Xi ge—when God Sen started shouting……]

[HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA]

[It feels like Sen ge is calling a dog]

[He’s a real God if Xi ge shows himself]

Soon after, Wang Yuxi’s voice also rang out. “You think I’m voice-activated?”

Yao Sen raised his gun, took aim through the scope, then slowly moved in the direction of the trees, where the bullet had just been fired from. “Come out, give it to me straight.”

“If you have the skill, seek me out yourself!”

“I’ve already spotted you.”

“No way, don’t think you can trick me.”

“I’ve spotted your level two helmet.”

“The fuck!”

Yao Sen fired a shot. Wang Yuxi, donning a level two helmet, astonishingly rolled away from the spot that he originally stood at. At first, Wang Yuxi thought that he’d chosen a very concealed sniping position, and as long as his enemies didn’t enter his surroundings, he presumed that he wouldn’t be spotted. How in the world did Yao Sen see him!

Hold on! Wang Yuxi sucked in a breath of cold air, and in an instant, he realized that he had fallen into a trap.

Just now, Yao Sen had deliberately fired at the air to make Wang Yuxi think that he’d been exposed, and now, this last move of his had completely marked his position. Without the slightest hesitation, Yao Sen sniped at him. The powerful bullet directly disregarded the helmet’s defence, and Wang Yuxi died on the spot.

The match ended here, with the win going to Yao Sen and Shao Han’s small team.

The few people then switched to the friends chat. Wang Yuxi turned on his mic and cursed Yao Sen out with all his might, yet said confusedly, “Since you didn’t see me, how did you know I was wearing a level two helmet?”

Yao Sen: “I guessed.”

“…What if you guessed wrong?”

“Guessing wrongly will only delay me from killing you, that’s all.”

[How could God Sen’s black belly-ness be this handsome too AHHHHHHH]

[I love hearing SenXi’s banter HAHAHAHAHAHAHA]

[Those who bet on Xi ge’s tragic death, come collect your money]

[Start a new round! I haven’t seen enough AAAAAAHHHHH!!!]

As if he had a telepathic connection with the barrage, Wang Yuxi said, “Again! Change it up this time!”

Yao Sen: “Change who? I think we’re fine the way we are.”

“I’ll team up with you!”

“Who wants to team up with you.”

“If you don’t team up with me, then I’ll team up with Shao ge!” Wang Yuxi directly jabbed at Yao Sen’s weak spot. “Shao ge! You won’t turn your back on me, right?!”

Shao Han: “……I’m fine with anything.”

With so many people watching, Yao Sen was afraid that the fans would ridicule them if he was always in a team with Shao Han. Though he was thick-skinned, Shao Han was the opposite.

Yao Sen was worried that Wang Yuxi would cheat Shao Han. He considered it for a moment and thought that at least Bai Yue would be a bit more earnest in that field, so he replied, “Lao-Wang, get back here. I’ll team up with you.”

The four of them rotated partners for a few more rounds, with Yao Sen’s total victory and the other three losing one round each. Eventually, Yao Sen’s mom called him down for dinner, so he had no choice but to end the battle.

During the meal, Yao Sen listened as his mother explained that his aunts and uncles would be coming over the next day with their kids, and that there would be ten to twenty people in total.

The thought of having to deal with a bunch of kids gave Yao Sen a headache. If his cousin insisted on staying over at their house for two days this time, he would definitely have to remember to put his gaming equipment away.

Every now and then, Yao Sen extremely regretted the fact that he didn’t have such a cute and clever little sister like Shao Han did.

However, if he became Shao Han’s boyfriend, then wouldn’t Xiao Meng have to call him ‘brother’ too?
