"Ogya! Ogya!"

Before I knew it, I was being held by a giant woman and wailing. While crying for no reason, I seemed to be wrapped in a soft cloth.

For some reason, my vision was blurry and hard to see. After a while, I saw a bright red monkey, also held by a giant woman, in front of me. Actually, this was it, a human baby.

Even though it was crying like me, it sounded a bit monotonous. Moreover, it seemed to be trying to cover its chest with one short arm and its crotch with the other.

The giant woman lay on her back on a huge bed and spoke to another giant woman.

"Leona! It's a healthy set of twins! Well, one of them seems a bit strange? ...No, but they’re both fully formed! That’s good, that’s really good!"

While looking at the baby next to me, the giant woman spoke awkwardly, trying to cover up the situation. The woman lying on the bed didn’t seem to be in a state to care, just facing us with a peaceful smile.

I finally understood the situation. I had been reincarnated. I was now a baby.

"---Mr. Yoshida. Mr. Yoshida, can you hear me?"

Then a voice echoed in my head. Even though it was in my head, I somehow knew the direction it was coming from and turned to see the baby covering its chest and crotch.

"Oh, you can hear me. It’s me. Angel Tsuchi 25673888."

It was the angel who had been next to me just a moment ago, though the exact time was unclear.

"It seems that after being split by my boss, your soul was divided into two and born into this world as twins."

"Huh, is that okay?"

"Well, since it’s something my boss did, I don’t think it’s anything strange... But I’ve never heard of such an attempt, so I honestly don’t know."

"You guys did something pretty serious, didn’t you? Now that I think about it, was that old man a god?"

"Yes, I believe he is what you would call a god."

"I see, so he was a god after all. By the way, your appearance... is that...?"

"It seems I have taken on the form of a twin sister to support you. I don’t think I have any of my angelic abilities, though. By the way, could you please stop staring at my chest and crotch?"

"I’m not staring! I don’t have that kind of hobby!"

"Really? Well, anyway, it seems that because our souls were once mixed, a bypass has been created, allowing us to communicate without speaking."

"Is this what they call telepathy or mind reading? By the way, I can understand the conversation of the people here as if it were Japanese. What’s up with that?"

"My boss said it’s a service. It seems to be a skill for translating foreign languages."

"I see. Well, being thrown into a world where I don’t understand the language with my memories from my previous life would be tough, so I’ll take it gratefully. Do I have any cheat skills, though?"

"My boss said there are no such things as cheat skills. ...No, it’s not a skill, but it seems you have been given a gift."

"Gift?"

"Not a skill that can develop later, but a talent you are born with. These talents do not develop into skills later on. They are called gifts because they are truly gifts from the gods."

"So it’s a service from the god. What kind of talent is it?"

"It’s what you might call an item box. The storage capacity increases according to your mana capacity, and you can take things in and out at any time."

"Wow, that sounds convenient! Despite being so stingy, it seems the old man is quite generous. He seems to be a kinder god than I thought."

"From my perspective, being sent flying as collateral, I don’t really feel that way."

"You’re still dwelling on it, huh? Well, being immediately reincarnated on your first day of work is a bit much. It’s understandable that you can’t get over it right away. But there’s no point in thinking about it, so we might as well move on, right?"

"---You’re right. Now that you mention it, there’s nothing I can do about it. I was briefed on the knowledge of this world just before reincarnation, so I’ll support you in that area while enjoying this new life. Please take care of me, big brother."

"O-Okay. I’ll count on you too."

While having this mental conversation, a voice came from above.

"I thought they had stopped crying, but the little boy and girl are looking at each other so affectionately! It’s a good sign that they’ll be close siblings in the future!"

A woman who seemed to be a midwife laughed cheerfully.
