Hearing Tang Ran’s words, the study was quiet for a few seconds, the several people reacting very differently.

Luo Zhan lightly narrowed his eyes, but didn’t speak.

Tang Luoqian was obviously a bit surprised. However, she soon gave Tang Ran a “you know your place” look. But after she threw it, she remembered that the little girl couldn’t see it, so she embarrassedly took back her eyes.

Old Master Luo was older than the three juniors combined, so he naturally could clearly see the twists and turns in their minds. Tang Luoqian’s emotional changes were also taken in by his eyes.

One tiny clue could show the whole situation. It was obvious what Tang Ran’s place was in the Tang family.

The old man sighed in his heart, but only smiled kindly on the surface: “That’s also good. Luo Xiu’s better at taking care of people than this stinky brat. I’ll feel more at ease if I ask him to bring you.”

”Thank you, grandpa.” Tang Ran secretly sighed with relief.

The old man turned back to the servant beside him, “Then you can send them out. Xiao Ran’s eyes aren’t good, attend to her carefully.”

”Okay, old sir.”

The servant agreed and stepped forward to lead Tang Ran outside.

Tang Luoqian said goodbye to Old Master Luo with a reluctant look. After leaving, she went downstairs without even looking at Tang Ran.

Luo Zhan followed lazily behind them. When he reached the corridor, he casually wrote on a piece of paper and ripped it out to put into the servant’s hand.

The servant was stunned: “Young master?”

Luo Zhan’s eyes indicated to the white paper.

The servant looked down: [Take Tang Ran to the next door side room.]

The servant looked up blankly, “Ah? Wouldn’t that be inappropriate-“

Unfortunately, without waiting for him to finish his sentence, Luo Zhan stepped back and returned to the study, immediately closing the door behind him.

The servant stood frozen in place.

Tang Ran didn’t hear the servant guide her downstairs for a long time, so she couldn’t help but curiously turn sideways toward the direction where the voices just came from.

”Did something happen?” The girl questioned in a soft voice.

The servant returned to his senses and struggled for a moment with the heavy as silver paper in his hand.

He really didn’t dare to go against the wishes of the little ancestor at home, and could only say: “Miss Tang, the young master seems to be looking for the old sir to talk about something, so he needs you to go to the study’s side room first and wait for a while.”

Tang Ran blanked for a bit.

After a few seconds of silence, she swallowed back the words of going downstairs alone and nodded gently, “Alright.”

”Then Miss Tang, come with me.”

The servant said while leading Tang Ran towards the side room. Before leaving, he glanced at the closed door of the study with a puzzled look in his eyes-

He felt that everything strange about their young master tonight was related to this blind little girl. Was it his imagination?

The servant was still perplexed after thinking about it for so long. He could only lead Tang Ran away with a shake of his head.

Inside the study.

The old master saw Luo Zhan, who had returned after leaving. The hand that was reaching for a teacup paused midair, “Why are you back again?”

Luo Zhan stopped in front of the sofa and lazily stretched his eyelids, “I was curious about something, came back to ask about it.”

”Your voice is better now?” The old man frowned, only thinking that Luo Zhan didn’t open his mouth because he hated Tang Luoqian, “All day long you only know how to make trouble, you can’t ever just be good.”

Luo Zhan curled the corner of his mouth and didn’t say anything.

The old man suppress his emotions and tasted his tea, “Isn’t there something you want to ask? Say it.”

”……”

When he didn’t hear any movement after a while, the old man raised his eyes and saw Luo Zhan’s dark eyes with cool and complicated emotions sizing him up.

The old master was angry seeing this, and he heavily set his teacup onto the table.

”What kind of look is that?”

”Tang Ran wouldn’t be yours or my dad’s love child from outside, right.”

Both grandparent and grandchild spoke at the same time.

The air was quiet.

Confused for almost half a minute, the old man opened his eyes wide with incredulity: “Wha, what?”

Luo Zhan repeated calmly, “Tang Ran wouldn’t be yours or my dad-“

Bang!

The cup of tea was picked up by the furious old man and thrown over.

Luo Zhan tilted his upper body and dodged it lightly, then he turned around to meet his grandfather’s thunderous roar.

”You, you, you, what are you talking about? Will you only feel at ease when you anger me to death?”

Determining the truth from the old man’s eyes and expression, the gloom hidden under Luo Zhan’s disdainful and mischievous eyes slowly dispersed.

He breathed a sigh of relief, but didn’t show it on his face, only smiling more carelessly and lightly: “Do you blame me? Buying presents and robots, I saw that you didn’t treat Tang Luoqian half as well as Tang Ran. I even thought she was a little princess our Luo family was hiding outside.”

”Don’t say that nonsense, what will we look like when your words gets out!”

”Then why?”

”Isn’t it because of…”

The word “you” didn’t come out in the end. The old man swallowed his words with a dark face, frowning and glaring at his ungrateful grandson: “Is there anything else? If there isn’t then get out of here! I get angry just looking at you!”

Luo Zhan didn’t mind that he couldn’t get anything out of the old man.

He straightened up from the armrest of the sofa where he was half leaning and half sitting, and lazily walked out, “It’s good that she has no blood relationship with the Luo family.”

The old man on the couch, with flickering eyes, paused and looked up, “What’s so good about that?”

”Good in that…. I don’t have another little sister or little aunt?” Luo Zhan turned his back to the study and lightly curled the corners of his mouth.

The old man grunted coldly.

”By the way,” Luo Zhan, who walked to the study door, stopped, “The bionic robot thing, have my brother contact me before he brings Tang Ran to the lab.”

The old man frowned, “Why?”

”Because that’s my-” Luo Zhan frowned and changed his tone, “…… lab.”

”Okay, got it. Get lost.” The old master unhappily drove him out of the study.
