Luo Zhan couldn’t believe what he had just heard.

Even if the girl in front of him with her eyes closed and her face turned up to “look” at him, shivering a little from the cold, knew his name, no one dared to call him that. Regardless of whether they were from the Luo family or K University, Young Master Luo was notoriously bad-tempered. No one dared to touch his minefield like that the first time they met.

As Luo Zhan’s eyes grew cold and unkind, a familiar lazy tone responded as the phone screen lit up in the girl’s hand.

“Here.”

“….”

Luo Zhan paused for two seconds, his line of sight shifting downward. Staring at the familiar interactive interface, he narrowed his eyes.

Luo Zhan remembered.

“Luoluo” was also the name of the AI assistant that their team had developed—When INT was experimenting with the voice assistant app, the team member who named the AI program almost died by Young Master Luo’s hands.

So the little girl had just called out not to him, but to the AI assistant on her phone that had his voice.

But what Luo Zhan remembered more clearly was that he hadn’t gotten an open commercial license for this program.

Luo Zhan frowned, “Did Tan Yunchang download that onto your phone?”

“….En.”

Tang Ran responded very softly.

She could hear from his tone that he sounded very unhappy, and if her previous guess was correct, then this person should be the leader of the development team behind INT.

So right now, was he displeased that she was using this app?

At the thought that “Luoluo” might be taken back, Tang Ren pursed her lips in anxiety and subconsciously protectively pulled her phone back.

No matter how indifferent and inhumane Luo Zhan’s personally was, he wouldn’t do a thing like grabbing a phone from a blind girl at this moment.

He wrinkled his eyebrows and stared at the shrinking young girl for a few seconds, then tsked lightly and averted his eyes.

“Speak, where to.”

After saving “Luoluo”, Tang Ran let out a secret sigh of relief.

She reached out to find the blind cane she had temporarily let go of to protect her phone, her tone careful, “Qingyan Road’s bus stop.”

The figure of Luo Zhan who leaned over to hand the blind cane to the girl’s hand stiffened slightly, “…. Where?”

Tang Ran patiently repeated, “Qingyan Road, bus stop.”

“….”

Luo Zhan, who hadn’t taken a single bus ride his entire life, was expressionless.

A few seconds later.

“Is it possible to take a taxi?”

“No, not possible.” The weak-looking girl’s face was pale, particularly insistent on this matter.

“?”

She bit her lip and whispered, “I’ll go home by myself then. Thank you.”

“….”

Luo Zhan felt an inexplicable irritation rising up, like lava filling his veins and bringing fire all the way to his heart, but he couldn’t do anything about it and had nowhere to turn.

He pressed down on the annoyance, handing the girl’s blind cane over and smiled coldly, “Afraid I’ll abduct you?”

“….”

The girl didn’t explain, just standing there with her eyes closed.

Unsure whether it was from being cold or being frightened, the small face was pale, her lips appearing faintly sweet. Wet by the drizzling rain, her dark hair stuck to the corner of her lips, outlining her already beautiful features. It was already possible to make out a little shadow of the bright and beautiful face she would grow into in the future.

The agitation in the bottom of Luo Zhan’s heart increased by a few points.

Standing in place for a moment, he reached into his pocket, then remembered after feeling nothing—before leaving the lab, he was so annoyed because of Tan Yunchang that he became distracted, and after answering the call, he threw his phone on the table.

So it simply wasn’t brought.

Luo Zhan was silent.

After a moment, he lowered his eyes and looked at the young girl who was waiting for him with a blind cane.

“Tan Yunchang gave you the navigation system connected to the voice assistant, right.”

“….?”

Tang Ran was slightly dumbfounded, tilting her face toward Luo Zhan.

In the subtle silence, Tang Ran finally understood Luo Zhan’s intention and meaning.

The corners of the girl’s mouth lightly curled up.

She lowered her head, tapped the phone, and softly called, “Luoluo.”

“Here.”

“How do I get to the bus stop on Qingyan Road?”

“Listen to my command.”

The navigation used Luo Zhan’s voice, indifferent and careless but still arrogant, yet also obedient.

Luo Zhan: “……..”

As of today, Tan Yunchang had nailed his own coffin firmly shut.

.

In the past, when Luo Zhan was asked what the most shameful event of his life was, he always scoffed and didn’t bother to answer—Young Master Luo’s life had always been unrestricted and clear, how would such humiliation even occur?

Now it did.

Being led by a blind little girl, the AI assistant that she communicated with the whole way being called “Luoluo”…. fine, that was considered okay.

But even the money for the bus ride was paid by the young girl.

The reason was also simple.

While waiting for the bus, Tang Ran learned from her experience and asked Luo Zhan in advance, “Did you bring any change?”

Luo Zhan took out the wallet from his jacket pocket, sending her a look, “…. Does 50 count?”

The young girl with closed eyes curled her lips.

After a few seconds, she pulled out two cold coins from a secret pocket of her skirt, took Luo Zhan’s hand and placed them into his palm.

Luo Zhan instinctively wanted to avoid the girl’s hand, but paused at the slightly lowered eyes and the fluttering eyelashes.

The two coins laid quietly in his hand.

“One at a time is enough, don’t put in more than necessary,” The girl instructed him softly, “And the other one is for your return trip.”

“….”

Luo Zhan was in a complicated mood.

This was the first time the young master had his travel expenses paid for, totaling two yuan.

Standing under the bus shelter, Luo Zhan put away the coins and the umbrella.

Waiting for a long time without seeing a hint of the 936 line, he saw the already-thin girl’s body shrinking back tightly out of the corner of his eyes.

…. Don’t know which family the little girl was from, were they not feeding her rice?

Seeing that the young girl was shivering from the cold, Luo Zhan frowned and took off his jacket.

Holding his jacket, hesitating for two seconds, he draped the coat over the girl’s small head of long, wavy hair.

“!”

Tan Ran didn’t experience her sight going dark, but the abrupt feeling of a jacket was felt.

She was slightly panicked, then heard from outside of the soft fabric on her head separating her from the outside world, the guy’s lazy and cold voice.

“I put clothes on you. The aunt next to me is already accusing me of abusing my daughter.”

Tang Ran was slightly dumbfounded: this person’s voice always sounded lazy and cold but it was still youthful, did he look like her father standing next to her?

At a loss, Tang Ran could only slowly pull off the jacket over her head and put it on.

The faint scent of amber cedar remained on her long hair, which was ruffled by the jacket.

The jacket pressed down on the girl’s skirt, the bottom of the garment covering until the knees of her slender legs. The sleeves were a little long for her, so that with her arms hanging down, not even her fingertips could be seen.

It really did look like a child who had stolen adult clothes.

“….”

Pausing for a few seconds, Luo Zhan slowly withdrew his eyes.

someone tell me how many times i used cold, indifferent and lazy this chapter, i think it must be at least over ten.
