As the days passed, Fang Yu’s heart became heavier and heavier. It had been twenty-nine days since the two of them had been separated but Lin Moyan had yet to express any desire to be with him. Fang Yu did not refuse this time. He was about to walk to the bathroom when he realised his shoes were still on his feet. He reluctantly walked back to the shoe rack at the door and put on indoor slippers before going up to the bathroom. The eyes of the person in the mirror were reddish and the corners of his eyes were still a little moist but the brightness in his eyes couldn’t be hidden.

Lin Moyan came back. He could hear the other’s footsteps through the cracks in the bathroom door. Finally, he was no longer alone in this house and immense relief crashed over him. The food at the table was not top-notch but it had a familiar taste. When Lin Moyan lived here, he didn’t cook often but every time he did, Fang Yu would eat everything, not leaving even a single crumb behind. He wasn’t trying to flatter Lin Moyan, he just liked to keep everything that Lin Moyan gave him.

Halfway through the meal, Fang Yu realized one thing. Although Lin Moyan came back, he did not say that he would never leave again, and he did not say that he fell in love with him. This fact made Fang Yu uneasy again, and he felt a burst of emotion in his heart. If he couldn’t confirm this, he probably wouldn’t have the mind to continue eating.
