Ma Teng was still brooding over the incident from the morning. As the head of the sales department, he couldn't just let it go that he had been kicked by a security guard.
At noon, while the employees were having lunch, he went to seek revenge on Ye Shaofeng.
Of course, he didn't come alone. Ma Teng knew that he wasn't a match for Ye Shaofeng, so he called his cousin who was involved in the underworld and brought four thugs. These four were known as the South City Four Tigers, and they were quite famous.
In the South City area, these four were known for their fighting skills. Whenever they were together, they were invincible.
Of course, these were just rumors from the underworld. Most of what people in the underworld said was just nonsense and bragging. Truly formidable people never showed off. As the saying goes, "A true master doesn't show his face, and one who shows his face isn't a true master." Just by the way these four walked, you could tell that they were more about posturing and bragging.
Ma Teng walked in front, with the South City Four Tigers following behind. All four were dressed in black sportswear, had shaved heads, and wore thick gold chains around their necks. Whether the chains were real or fake, we couldn't tell.
They walked with an outward gait, their eyes darting around. When they saw a woman with some charm, their eyes would follow the movement of her chest or buttocks.
Many employees avoided them, and no one dared to get within five meters of them. This made it easy for them to find Ye Shaofeng.
"That's the guy. There are too many people here, so let's take him outside and deal with him!" Ma Teng pointed at Ye Shaofeng, who was not far away.
The South City Four Tigers had been paid by Ma Teng's cousin, and they were there to do his bidding. They ran up to Ye Shaofeng and formed a bow-shaped circle around him.
One of them, a muscular man with a purple face and a tiger-like back, was called Da Hu. He was the leader of the four and always took the lead.
Da Hu slapped Ye Shaofeng's shoulder hard, intending to catch him off guard. But when his hand hit Ye Shaofeng's shoulder, it felt like hitting a solid rock.
Few people in this world had such well-built and solid shoulder muscles. Just from that slap, Da Hu realized that this security guard was not someone to be trifled with.
Peng Xiaofei, who was sitting across from Ye Shaofeng, faced these four men.
These four were well-known in South City, and Peng Xiaofei, being somewhat involved in the underworld, recognized them immediately.
"Hey, isn't that Brother Hu? What brings you here? Come, come, sit down and have a meal with us," Peng Xiaofei said with a smile.
"This is none of your business. Sit there and eat your meal, and pretend you didn't see anything!" Er Hu, who was behind him, pulled out a rolled-up newspaper and pointed it at Peng Xiaofei.
Peng Xiaofei knew that this wasn't just a regular newspaper; it was wrapped around a knife.
Peng Xiaofei's smile froze, and he sat back down, keeping a close eye on the four men.
Da Hu patted Ye Shaofeng's shoulder and said, "I need to talk to you. Let's go outside."
Ye Shaofeng didn't turn his head, sitting steadily in his seat. He continued eating, shoveling rice into his mouth with his chopsticks, his face covered in oil. He said casually, "What's up? We can talk here."
"Right, Brother Hu, what's the matter? Sit down and talk. Have you eaten? My bowl is still full. Why don't you have some first?" Peng Xiaofei said with a forced smile.
Er Hu, furious, used the newspaper to knock over Peng Xiaofei's lunch box, spilling the food all over his face. "Shut up and get lost!" he shouted.
Peng Xiaofei wasn't someone to be pushed around. Although he knew the reputation of these four, he couldn't tolerate being bullied in his own territory. If he did, how could he continue working at the company, let alone remain the head of the security team?
"Damn you!" Peng Xiaofei slammed the table and threw the lunch box at Er Hu's head.
Er Hu pulled out the knife and lunged forward. In a flash, Ye Shaofeng suddenly sprang up, grabbed Er Hu's wrist holding the knife without even looking, and with a quick pull and a twist, there was a crisp "snap." Er Hu's entire arm was broken.
No one saw when Ye Shaofeng started his move. By the time everyone realized what was happening, Er Hu's arm was already broken.
Peng Xiaofei's lunch box hit Er Hu's head with great force, causing blood to splatter. The other three Tigers, seeing the fight, rushed forward and pulled out their knives.
Ye Shaofeng turned around just as Da Hu's knife came at him, the tip pointing at his nose. Just as it was about to touch him, Ye Shaofeng suddenly grabbed the steel knife with his right hand.
The tip of the knife stopped. Da Hu felt as if his knife had been stuck in a block of marble, unable to move it forward or pull it back.
Ye Shaofeng's eyes were fierce, almost glowing with a fiery light, like a death god from hell. His intense gaze made Da Hu shudder.
After a moment, blood started to flow from the blood groove of the knife. It was Ye Shaofeng's blood, as the blade had cut into his palm. But his expression remained resolute, as if the injury was insignificant to him.
"What do you want?" Ye Shaofeng asked coldly, staring into Da Hu's eyes.
"N-nothing... nothing..." Da Hu dropped the knife and ran. The other three Tigers followed.
After the four men fled in disgrace, Ye Shaofeng turned his gaze to Ma Teng, who couldn't meet his eyes and quickly hid in the crowd.
"What are you all doing here? Don't you need to eat? Go and have your meal!" A woman's voice rang out, clear and pleasant.
The crowd dispersed, and a woman wearing a tight-fitting business suit and 12-centimeter high heels walked over.
With her 36D chest, smooth and white legs, and a seductive gaze, she was a sight that would make any man's heart race.
The woman walked straight up to Ye Shaofeng, looked at the knife in his hand, and said, "Drop the knife and come with me to the chairman's private dining room."
"Who are you?" Ye Shaofeng couldn't help but ask.
"Who am I? I'm the chairman's secretary, Lin Zhiya. Chairman Chang sent me to find you. What are you waiting for? Let's go." Lin Zhiya turned and walked away, her hips swaying.
Peng Xiaofei, watching the woman's back, said, "Damn, that chick is hot. Look at those tits, 36D! And that ass, so perky. Touch it, and it would feel so elastic! Brother Feng, you're in luck this time..."
