Everyone is just too enthusiastic. Even before the updates began, there were already over ten alliance leaders. I especially thank you for your support, so I've decided to start updating this week, before the Heavenly Fire ends. I'll start with one update per day. Once Heavenly Fire concludes, I'll immediately increase it to two updates per day. With both books updating, it will be equivalent to three updates per day. So, quickly add to your favorites and recommend! Give your recommendation votes to our Dragon King Legend.

Aolai City is a small coastal town on the eastern coast of the Sun Moon Federation, adjacent to the sea.

Today, the city is particularly lively as it is the annual Awakening Day.

People on the Douluo Continent all possess something called a Spirit Soul. The Spirit Soul is a part of their body and can be any animal, plant, or object. At the age of six, through an awakening ceremony, one can awaken their Spirit Soul. The annual Awakening Day is the day when Spirit Souls are awakened.

If a Spirit Soul is a hoe, then the person will have a stronger ability to till the land compared to others. If a Spirit Soul is an animal, the person might possess some simple abilities of that animal. Therefore, the Spirit Soul has long become an important existence that changes people's lives.

More importantly, people look forward to the emergence of Spirit Power. Spirit Power is an energy that nourishes and enhances the Spirit Soul. Everyone has a Spirit Soul, but even among a thousand people, it's uncertain if one person will have Spirit Power accompanying their Spirit Soul.

Spirit Power is equivalent to the future and strength. When a Spirit Soul is accompanied by Spirit Power, one can enhance their Spirit Soul through cultivation, thus becoming a noble profession that has existed on the Douluo Continent for thousands of years: a Spirit Master.

Therefore, even the most ordinary people look forward to their children having their Spirit Souls and Spirit Power awaken on the day of their sixth birthday. This could change the child's life and even benefit the entire family.

The street in front of Hongshan Academy was already crowded early in the morning, with parents bringing their children to participate in the awakening ceremony.

"Father, what do you think my Spirit Soul will be?" A six-year-old boy looked at his father with excitement. His favorite stories were those his father told him about Spirit Masters. His beautiful big eyes were full of anticipation.

The boy had short black hair and was slightly taller than children his age. What drew the most attention were his large, clear eyes with long lashes that even many girls couldn't match. Although his clothing was ordinary, his outstanding appearance made him easily noticeable.

The father was an ordinary-looking middle-aged man, of average height and build, and everything about him seemed ordinary.

"Father doesn't know; it depends on luck." The father sighed inwardly. Awakening Day is actually a dividing day, a day that divides one's life. Whether or not one has Spirit Power will undoubtedly determine the trajectory of one's life. Fortunately, in this era, even if one cannot become a Spirit Master, it is still possible to have a good future.

"Will I definitely have Spirit Power, right?" The beautiful boy's eyes were full of hope.

The father patted his head and smiled, "Whether you have Spirit Power or not, I love you."

Inside the academy, parents and children were constantly coming out. Most of them looked dejected or sighed. Occasionally, there was one who was overjoyed, and without asking, it was clear that their Spirit Soul was accompanied by Spirit Power, which immediately attracted the envious and jealous gazes of everyone around.

As time passed, the sun became increasingly intense, and the excitement of the beautiful boy diminished somewhat.

"Tan Wulin!" A teacher from Hongshan Academy walked out, looking at a list and called out a name.

"I'm here!" The beautiful boy's eyes widened, and he jumped up excitedly.

Tan Ziran also perked up, looking at his excited son and holding his small hand as they walked over.

"Follow me." Perhaps due to the many tasks on Awakening Day, the teacher seemed somewhat indifferent and turned to walk ahead. Tan Ziran and Tan Wulin hurriedly followed.

Walking along the path in the academy, Tan Wulin looked around excitedly. Everything was so new and interesting to him. Hongshan Academy was a primary comprehensive school that could accommodate two thousand students. The buildings had an ancient and simple style, with white roofs and red walls. The campus was very clean, and compared to the noise outside, the academy was particularly quiet. Even Tan Wulin's excited heart seemed to calm down with the environment.

The teacher led them to a round teaching building and said to Tan Ziran, "Wait here."

Tan Ziran nodded and looked at his son, "Follow the teacher's instructions and do your best, son! I'll be waiting for you here."

Tan Wulin nodded vigorously, "Father, I will have a powerful Spirit Soul."

Watching his son follow the teacher into the round building, a hint of melancholy and nostalgia appeared in Tan Ziran's eyes. This round building, which exists in any primary school, is called an Awakening Room, specifically used to help six-year-old children awaken their Spirit Souls. On Awakening Day, the academy invites Spirit Masters from the Spirit Tower to perform the awakening ceremony. Decades ago, he too entered the Awakening Room with such hope.

The Awakening Room was not just one place for Spirit Soul awakening but had seven floors, each with an Awakening Room. Tan Wulin was taken to the Awakening Room on the third floor.

As soon as he entered the Awakening Room, Tan Wulin felt a bit dazzled. The ground, walls, and even the ceiling were engraved with some wondrous and beautiful patterns. Vaguely, he felt something strange, as if something inside his body was stirring.

In the Awakening Room, there was a middle-aged man wearing an ancient long robe. The robe was orange, with some dark patterns of Spirit Beasts embroidered on it.

Tan Wulin, who loved listening to his father's stories from a young age, knew about the Spirit Masters from the Spirit Tower. These Spirit Masters from the Spirit Tower were mysterious and powerful, a very special group of Spirit Masters with a very high status on the continent. But this was his first time truly seeing one.

"Hello," Tan Wulin said timidly.

The Spirit Master had a gentle smile on his face, "Come, little one, stand in the middle."

Tan Wulin blinked and obediently walked over to stand, then couldn't help but ask, "Spirit Master, what kind of Spirit Soul will I have?"

The Spirit Master smiled, "I don't know either! Once you awaken, you'll naturally see. However, your eyes are so beautiful; if your Spirit Soul is related to your eyes, it would be perfect."

Tan Wulin's eyes lit up, "The Spirit Eye? I've heard of it. It was the first tower master of the Spirit Tower..."

The Spirit Master interrupted him, "Focus and calm down, I'm about to begin."
