Bang!

It seemed that some god, whether real or imagined, had heard Levi's silent plea. The tightly locked door of the villa bedroom creaked as if struck by a blunt object and swung open.

"Eve!?"

If Levi had truly wished for someone to burst in and break the awkward atmosphere, it would have been Iwen or Chachamaru. He never imagined that the one to barge in would be the blonde girl who usually sat quietly in a corner reading, not at all like a professional killer. Levi didn't think he had ever brought her to this room before. Could she have searched floor by floor? Why would she go to such lengths?

"Momo. Beria. Debruk."

Eve ignored Levi. After a quick glance, she fixed her gaze on the pink-haired girl kneeling on the bed, hands pressed against the mattress.

"Ah, Miss Eve is up so early too? Do you have a morning exercise routine?"

Hearing her name, Momo straightened up, greeting Eve as if she had run into a classmate on the way to school. Her behavior dispelled the awkwardness Levi had felt just moments ago.

No matter how skilled an actor, if they overplay their part, it becomes noticeable. Levi could sense that Eve's mood was different from usual, even tinged with unmasked hostility. Could Momo not have noticed? Levi felt she was putting on an act. Was her earlier confession also part of her performance? He naturally assumed so, though it seemed like an escape, he had no intention of playing a game of love at first sight when an enemy could arrive at any moment.

Eve's behavior was a bit strange. Not having witnessed what happened in the forest the previous morning, Levi assumed she had recognized Momo's identity. How could she not, when she had even called out her full name? Every assassin knew what the Debruk surname signified.

"Breakfast is ready."

This time, it was Momo's turn to be ignored. Eve stared at her for a moment, as if she had found the answer she was looking for, then shifted her gaze to Levi, who was still sitting on the windowsill.

"Really? So early?"

Levi glanced at the clock. In the slow passage of time, where one hour equaled a day, the hour hand was still where it had been when he woke up, only the minute hand had moved slightly. Who eats breakfast at five in the morning? The Iwen family wasn't a tofu shop that needed to deliver goods early in the morning. They usually prepared breakfast about half an hour before leaving for work.

"Chachamaru said you were already up."

Eve's response reminded Levi of the maid who didn't need to sleep. How did Chachamaru know he was awake? Probably by using Iwen's crystal ball to check inside the villa. Levi wasn't too worried about what had just happened reaching Iwen's ears. Chachamaru was quite discreet, and besides, he hadn't done anything out of line. He just needed to remind her later.

"Okay, let's go eat. I've been sleeping for so long, I'm starving. How about you?"

Eve had come to wake him, so Levi's last question was directed at Momo, who had just gotten out of bed. After thinking it through, he found the girl quite interesting. Since she was a guest, he should at least treat her well.

"Sure, Momo is hungry too. Let's go, Mr. Levi, Miss Eve."

Wearing slippers, Momo ran over to Levi in two steps, grabbing his arm without hesitation, like a little girl pouting.

"Let's go, Eve."

Noticing Eve's gaze, Levi subtly freed his arm from her grip as he stood up.

"By the way, I'll call you Momo from now on, and you don't need to use formal titles anymore."

"That won't do, Mr. Levi. Dad always said girls should be polite. Right, Eve?"

Momo spoke of politeness but dropped the formal title for Eve. This small provocation didn't even catch the attention of 'Golden Darkness.' Swinging her long golden hair, Eve had already walked out of the room.

Levi quickly put on his shoes and followed. If Momo insisted on calling him that, he would let her. He was used to similar terms at school, except for a few students.

Because time passed so slowly, even if Chachamaru had already prepared and served breakfast, they could still reach the dining table before the food got cold.

The three of them split into two groups, with Eve walking alone ahead, neither rushing nor waiting. When Levi and Momo sped up, she followed suit, seemingly unwilling to interact with them.

The book-loving blonde girl usually spoke little, but she wasn't to the point of avoiding social interaction. Her current behavior told Levi that there was a rift between her and Momo.

What rift, and how it had formed, Levi naturally cared about. If he asked Eve, she probably wouldn't say. If he asked Momo... he'd wait until they were more familiar. As long as they didn't fight, it was fine.

Chatting with Momo about local customs, Levi was unaware that the two girls had already had a physical confrontation.

"Thanks, Chachamaru, you've worked hard."

The timing was perfect. As the three of them came out of the villa and entered the living room, Chachamaru was setting the table. Levi, who was very enthusiastic about food, bypassed Eve and sat down at the table first. He began eating, inviting the two girls to join him.

"Hey, Kaguya, come... uh, have breakfast."

Just as he took a sip of milk, the black-haired girl in traditional attire came downstairs. Putting down his cup to greet her, Levi almost slipped. Fortunately, no one else noticed, only Kaguya paused slightly at the word 'play.'

Seeing that no one else reacted, Kaguya's frown and the look she gave Levi almost made him feel 'electrified.'

Hastily burying his head in his food, Levi once again deeply felt the dangerous situation he was in, not long after Momo's confession.

Apart from his junior, Rin Tohsaka, both Momo and Kaguya were outstanding beauties. If either of them transferred to Second High, they would surely cause a sensation, making the boys go wild. Living under the same roof with them, if he said he felt nothing, he should see a psychologist. But compared to the excitement any man would feel, he was more worried about Iwen, who was like a vinegar jar.

She had locked him out last night. If Momo made another move like her earlier confession, he might have to stay at Al's place. Fortunately, Momo behaved normally in front of others. Apart from sitting closest to him, she didn't make any other over-the-top moves.

Headache!

Why couldn't he focus on the Holy Grail War? Levi felt that the reason he couldn't get tense despite the impending battle was due to these girls.

Oh, and one more.

Levi lifted his head to wipe the bread crumbs from his mouth with a napkin, just as Eve looked at him. Fortunately, after recent interactions, he and Iwen had gradually gotten used to the presence of their servant. And in Levi's heart, Eve always had a different feeling compared to Kaguya and Momo.

"I'm full. I'll go upstairs for a bit. Take your time."

After saying this to the three girls, Levi got up and went upstairs. The door to his and Iwen's room was still closed. He knocked on the adjacent wooden door.
